    Giants news directly to you.
Ben does a terrific job of providing the most current Giants news to you while offering his educated opinions and outlooks. Love the show!!

    All over the place
I am surprised Ben Kaspick is still hosting this podcast. He is very all over the place and unclear. He constantly corrects himself. The podcasts are twice as long as they should be because of his speaking. Can you please get some with better communication skills. I won’t be listening until there is a change in hosts. To hard to listen to.

Podcast good. Postcast not so good.
I liked the podcast when it was just Ben. Now that Locked On has added the Postcast, I’ve stopped listening.

Love the Pod, Hate the Ads
I love Ben’s take on most of his statistical approach to the game as well as the mostly positive outlook he brings to Locked On. He often shares objective opinion, which seems overly objectively positive at times. The one drawback that I’ve noticed is the CRAZY amount of time on air that is dedicated to Ads, I often skip large chunks of the pods to get to the good stuff. I get that it’s there to make money; just an objective opinion here. Go Giants!

    Please stop the spoilers!!
Why do you need to send a podcast just after every game where the title spoils the results for anyone who may be watching it after it is actually played? If you can’t stop, my only recourse will be to unsubscribe. I’ve turned off notifications, but I listen to a lot of podcasts, and avoiding the app completely until I’m ready to watch the game is a non-starter.

    Locked on Giants
I love your show. Love it and love that you are a fan not just reporting the facts. Happy holidays! Let’s go Giants

Solid commentary & tons of promotions
I’ve listened to & watched a fair amount of this show and while I think Ben has a fairly level headed approach and clearly does his research, the volume of ads & cross-promotional LockedOn material is near comical at this point. It’s got to be close to half the runtime!
  • Smoothe1
Ben is an easy listen and address all issues.
Ben is my guy. He’s the only reliable voice I reach for who gives me clarity and is not overly effusive about one thing or another.

    Promising, just less breathless please
So close to being a great podcast. Just wish he would be a little less breathless and dramatic in his style, like “Jordan Hicks….was…..absolutely….electric”. I’m excited about the Giants, he’s excited, but looking for more of that Jon Miller / Kruk / Kuip vibe with the pacing for a 162 game season.

I always look forward to the latest episodes from Ben Kaspick. His analyses are solid and his love of baseball comes through. His reactions are spot on, he doesn’t over or under react. Can’t wait to hear his analysis of today’s season opener in San Diego. I had hoped the post cast by EEE might provide something similar but it didn’t. I had missed the second half of the game and wanted to listen to thoughtful analysis of what I missed. Didn’t get it. At least half the podcast was listening to the podcaster’s personal grievances about Farhan, Gabe, platooning, you name it. Even though the Giants lost the game, there were plenty of good moments and good signs for optimism and the game deserved a good recap. If the future episodes are like that, I’ll skip the post casts. Keep up the great work Ben.

    Really hard to listen to
I’ve been listening to Ben for a couple of years. When he reports on a story or subject, he pauses often and has his uncomfortable long gaps. When he talks about a subject line, he often doesn’t have the necessary information on hand or on his computer for him to go to. It almost seems like he just comes on and wings it. I often have to increase the podcast speed to one and a half times faster just so he’s variable.

    Fun Informative Podcast
Ben always puts out a good summary of rumors during the offseason and breakdowns of games during the season. Best podcast for the diehard Giants fan

    Great Podcast for Giants Fans
Really enjoy this podcast, listen every day. Ben goes into a ton of detail about all things Giants. Wish the ad reads were a bit shorter but still 5 stars

    Must listen
Must listen everyday for diehard fans

    Normally a fan
Usually a really good show but being a part of the “Locked On” network, it states everyday shows. I get the slow off-season, and moving it to 3 days a week, but if you claim to be going back to 5 days a week, don’t bail on it a week after. Everything else about the pod is amazing! Great information, easy to listen to and love the point of view from a true Giants fan. Just wish I could listen to it everyday

    Locked on Giants
Having trouble sleeping? Click on locked on Giants with boring Ben and listen to his monotone drivel. It’s better for sleep than any AMSR podcast you could listen to. Any other podcasts on the Giants is better, but unfortunately the others don’t air that often

    Excellent Giants pod
I’m not one to leave reviews much, but this dude is an excellent listen if you are a Giants fan. Listen every night while cleaning the kitchen. Thanks for keeping me company Ben Kaspick 👍

Everyday listener here... actually reached for my phone as soon as I heard the news about Robbie Ray... so it's 11:30pm and I'm listening to you deal out the details about this trade.... THANK YOU.... Go Giants and Go Ben Caspick!! lol

    Great Show. Everyday!
Ben, excellent show. You are the best. Keep them coming!
  • Ms. Lorra in SF
    Thank you
Thanks for your comments and insights; without your show I might need a therapist to get through this inexplicably bad end of season!
  • wwechamps say no
    Farhan apologists
Todays podcast is a great example of why Ben is not fair. Very bias. He says the offense was one of the best for he first half of the season of baseball. Like what? No it wasn’t. Then doesn’t even state that is the worst in baseball in 37% of season. Giants were never a top offense. Timely hitting. Bad strikeout rate the entire year. Bad average. Little power. But Ben keeps up the rouse of top. His inability to call it fair is such a turnoff for his show.
  • Julio Franco's dong
    Homer
He’s a knowledgeable guy, but too much of a homer. To say Giants have a chance in playoffs is outrageous. He’s young, so, hopefully he gets better @ it, but had to unsubscribe
  • solor traveler
    Born again baseball fan!
Thanks Ben for renewing my interest in baseball by giving me a better understanding of the game with your analytical approach. I just wish sabermetrics were available for the rest of my life.
  • You Fairie
    Great show covering SF Giants
Very entertaining show. Daily episodes mean timely content after each day’s game. Even in offseason there was substantive material, too. Perfect episode lengths to quickly get a taste of current, relevant info. I recommend the follow.
  • Litterboxryan
    Ehhhh
Takes 2.5 minutes to start, loaded w ads and arguing against the internet boogie men, but it’s useful if you want to stay in the know w roster moves and day to day Giants. SUPER annoying to listen to the arguing in the comments type analysis tho. Stick to the facts man.
  • SFMotion
    This show delivers
If you compact and stat heavy analysis, here’s your show.
  • grtgord
    Terrible
If you are interested in listening to a 25 minute show that has 10-12 minutes of material with a guy that has a tough time giving straight answers this may be the show for you.
  • ectosean
If you hate Joey Bart this is the podcast for you.
I love having such frequent Giants content. Ben works hard, knows his stuff & explains things so anyone can understand. This is a great podcast for Giants fans to keep their finger on the pulse of the team year-round. He rambles on his tangents a bit too much and, for as objective as he is in almost every topic, he lets his bias (as results-driven as it might be) against Bart creep in way too much. Seems like there’s always plenty of criticism when warranted and only apathy when Joey does something good. I wish new episodes were available a little earlier in the day, so I’m often a day behind during the season because I listen in the morning. I appreciate the way Ben engages with fans via reading mail/tweets on the show. It’d be nice if there were guests on to talk about the team just a little bit more than there are now. Overall 4/5 - would recommend
  • DenverNuggg
    Love the show
Love the show really appreciate the data driven and thoughtful takes provided…. I was wondering if you think any of the young unproven talent on the 40 man roster has all star potential?
  • SteveK09

Sabol himself said he was converted in college from catcher to outfield because his coaches said he was too fast to be a catcher. smh. he wants to be a catcher stop viewing from only his pro history of being an outfielder first
  • Lazerdique
    Best Giants Podcast by Far
Easily my favorite SFG pod. A great balance of data driven analysis and Giants fandom. I always end the listen with at least a couple good nuggets of insight. I've learned more about analytics from Ben than anywhere else.
  • Moneil P
    Objective positive spin on mediocrity
This podcast is an optimistic take on the Giants based on analytics. It most definitely not a fan perspective but tries to explain the thought process of Farhan. Where average or slightly above average is considered the goal.

    Hi Ben!
Love your show - and that you hold it down as a solo podcaster. Thanks for your work and for your love of the giants!

    Climbing the Ladder
I enjoy your podcast very much. It’s climbed my “bullpen” ladder throughout the season. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
  • ryankeklg
Been listening everyday for a year straight!
Ben does a great job breaking down the daily moves and going in depth with advanced analytics to go beyond what the other Giants podcasts do :)
  • docsuess84
    Love the Nerd Stats
I’ve got a pretty nerdy and analytical thought process myself, so Ben’s presentation style is totally my jam. I look forward to every episode and it’s the first thing I put on for the commute home.
  • Giants exist!
    Nice way to unpack expectations
As a fan I always have questions and Ben offers a statistical analysis that unpacks Giants productivity. I listen most mornings on my walk with my dog and enjoy the data that is shared. It’s refreshing for me to have a non over hyped delivery that calms both disappointments and exited expectations after watching a game.
  • dkeddnfher
    Great listen
Sorry Alex and Cole, I’m definitely Locked on Giants. Great content on both sides but I enjoy the daily content. Breaks down every little thing going on very clearly. Always look forward to my next listen!

    Ben is Great
Love the daily format and Ben is about a good a guy as you could ask for for daily analysis. Really glad to have this show going into this offseason
  • mister B
    Excellent
My first listen during the giants season - high quality, high value. Thank you
  • calcougar
    Best baseball analysis !
I am Dodger fan but Ben is my new favorite because his analysis is logical and fair. I don’t mind his Giants bias because:1) unlike commentators on MLB TV and TBS ( and cable news channels) he does not pretend to be neutral; and 2) his logic is spot on and unassailable.
  • Mehring Family
    Unlistenable
I want to listen to this podcast but the advertisement reading is unbearable! The content is ok, nothing revolutionary or exclusive. Thais is why it’s easy for me to delete this from my list of podcasts I follow. The advertisements are just so awfully read that the host needs to be replaced by someone with some personality.
  • GoldenState94
    Great daily pod!
A great pod for any giants fan, Ben is super knowledgeable and is a breath of fresh air! Love his streams on Greenroom too! Keep it up. Jordan

    Awesome Podcast
Hi Ben! I listen to this podcast every day and I very much enjoy it! You do such a fantastic job providing great analysis of the Giants and recapping the games played. I really like San Francisco so much. Like Tony Bennett, “I Left My Heart In San Francisco.”And that said, I’m a die hard San Francisco Giants fan representing my “City by the Bay.” Go Giants!
