My ability to use my vision to read, and much more is damaged. I hungered for scripture, and to understand it as well. Despite the great Orthodox Study Bible, I knew I was missing subtleties. The Spirit knew my hunger and the Lord answered a prayer I didn't know to speak. A PODCAST? Not only have I been edified in the word these last 5-6 months, but so often the young man who has chosen Jesus over his criminal life praises God for the word of scripture I can share. He can not read or understand the speed of the readers Biblical reading. He also does not have WiFi 18 minutes straight. Glory to Thee, Our God, Glory to Thee. Through scripture I am so grateful for all my abundance and especially my trials and tribulations. There is not 1 that has not been an opportunity to find and become closer to The Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, Amen I love pray blessings for you and all who are supporting this program that edifies my soul so I might understand His statutes. - & YAY

I feel a huge burden for not being able to give thanks to God firstly, Father Alexis and his team earlier for all the work you all do. I have heard the scripture reading almost every morning. It has served as an empowering word of encouragement, and tbh an antidote to my anxious thoughts, and remedy to the storm within me.The readings are not too long and the pace of reading is just perfect. God knows how grateful I am. Thank you dearly. Lord have mercy.

I love this resource and depend on it. The scripture readings are so nourishing and the commmentary by Fr Alex is truly encouraging. I learn so much about orthodoxy and the Scriptures with each episode. This is my favorite podcast for reading the Bible.

If you wish to hear God speak, listen to this gentleman’s easy voice! Best voice I’ve heard reading the scriptures. Makes it easy to want to keep listening! Especially with the added bonus material for context!

It is great to daily hear the Word of God. I love his soft voice as he reads the Scriptures. Even though I am hardcore Reformed in my theology, I love being challenged to think Orthodox.

This is such a great podcast. The daily reading habit helps to keep me focused on God and loving others. I love Father Alexis’s commentary as well.

I began listening this year, and this is definitely my favorite Bible reading podcast I’ve encountered thus far. The commentary challenges and inspires me to live out my faith more fully, and to be more devoted to God. As a fairly new convert to Byzantine Catholicism from Protestantism, I appreciate that the commentary addresses all of me, not merely my intellect or emotions. I wish I had discovered this podcast before 2022!

Glory to God. We have been so blessed by Father Alexis’s reading of the Holy Scriptures. Since we are new to orthodoxy, his explanations before and after the reading have been very helpful in our family’s further understanding of orthodoxy.

Fr Alexis reads sections of scripture and includes succinct, short, and powerful connections to what was read and our walk with Christ. I’ve been listening for over two years now - it’s a favorite part of my day.

I started the new year with this pod cast. My husband found it last May and said it was a great blessing. I decided to wait for the new year. I am blessed by this podcast, it was foolish to wait, but I am happy to start my days with these lessons.

Father Alexis gives insights at the end of the readings. These are so valuable. I wish they were longer. Love listening daily and this now has become a way of going through the Bible every year. Thank you for being faithful to teach us.

This daily podcast has been wonderful. I have tried for years to read the Bible through and have always failed. Having a podcast that I can listen to while in the car or while doing tasks around the house has enabled me to keep up with my scripture “reading” has kept me on schedule. I grew up Jewish, went to Hebrew school as a child and remember our study of Scripture. Being able to hear the exposition of holy scripture AGAIN as an adult, along with the orthodox study of the New Testament is refreshing for my soul and fulfills a basic need for me that I had forgotten I had. - Efraim Shultz
