Just as Ryan claims, this podcast is by the people, for the people. I appreciate the positivity that Ryan brings his episodes, makes all listens enjoyable, compared to the ragebait that so many other channels have. I’d pay good money for Ryan to handle my news of any kind, but for now, Magic will work just fine.

A lot of podcasts tend to take a deep dive into card analysis and mechanics, but what Ryan at Commander Ad Populum is able to do is really talk about the hobby a higher level in terms of social interaction and our overall relationship with it. He takes a unique approach to how he talks about Magic the Gathering and offers a brand of content that’s not easily found amongst other content creators in this space.

The world needs more of this thoughtful positivity Ryan brings to the table every week. Listening to him always leaves me feeling more optimistic about life in general!

I would highly recommend you follow and subscribe to this podcast even if you’re not into Magic the Gathering. Ryan, from Commander Cook Out Podcast, does an amazing job of blending the game Magic the Gathering and different aspects of our everyday life. From talking about representation in games, to self care. Ryan’s takes and episodes are always refreshing and a welcome addition to my weekly staple of podcasts that I listen and follow. I can’t speak highly enough of this podcast and it’s ability to make you feel as though you're sitting with friends at a coffee shop or bar catching up. Give Cadpop cast a subscribe and you won’t regret it.

Ryan does an excellent job of talking about more than just the cards and format and helps foster a healthy environment for everyone.

With so many Commander/EDH Podcasts about, Ryan breathes some fresh air into the community by touching on the topics less treaded. With special guests discussing their involvment in MTG, to reviewing past sets from the before time, and even general wellness. A little bit of everything is covered to help give a great perspective, that is what keeps me tuning in every Wednesday for this inspiring and genuine cast.

Ryan is a good guy who’s very down to earth and easy to listen to! His voice is very animated and the quality of his interviews are mighty high. Excellent line up of guests! If you like to listen to real people talk about MTG look no further. Well maybe a little further, Ryan also has another Podcast call Commander cookout, also a 5/5!

Really good listening to actual game play scenarios whether it’s P2P or card interactions. And the set reviews are great. Reminds me of the days I started to play and may find some gems that can create an interesting game play. We are a very battle cruiser style group, and it makes me chuckle when my group has to pick up a card and say “what the hell is this” or “ what does this do”.

This podcast really gets to the heart of topics that effect the EDH community. The passion is real in this show.

Sometimes I'm not looking for the co host/guests format, sometimes I just want someone who knows their stuff to talk to me about Commander and MTG set history for 30 minutes. Love it.
