If this show isn’t consistent then…
They get a bad first game and no show? Then good second night?? No show ..It can’t be a good podcast if it’s not extremely up to date and after every game.

    Horrible takes
These guys need to come to grips with reality about this team. One more year left of going for it? They sound like Yinzers who have become spoiled by having Crosby for 20 years.

    Nah
I like the part he read the stats of the other team. Devoid of personality.

    Worth a listen
Worth a listen but new host does not have a gift for podcasting. Sommetimes makes it hard to get through episodes, especially if Hunter isn’t there.

    Daily?
Content is usually pretty decent. Almost always a big gap in daily content when big news comes out. You’d think it would be the other way around. Not super professional to advertise as a daily podcast and then do 3 shows a week. They should get someone else to run this show that’s actually willing to commit the time and not just quote and retweet their buddies in PGH sports media.

    My Favorite Penguins Podcast
If you are not subscribed to this Podcast subscribe NOW!! It is by far my favorite out of all the ones I listen too!! Hunter’s topics are never boring. He doesn’t say what the fans want to hear, but what’s true. Love this Podcast!!

    More passionate than professional
Hunter is a very passionate fan. But he is not always a professional observer. He’s young, dramatic, and intense, but he frequently offers opinions as facts. He gets lost down rabbit holes and seems to forget to go back and finish what he was talking about. Hunter would be a decent color commentator if paired with a more professional journalistic cohost. On his own, I don’t consider him with listening to.

    Very Average
Not the worst not the best. Probably better for younger listeners that don’t remember the game the way it used to be.

    A few things...
This is a decent podcast. I love the content being basically all Pittsburgh, which the reason I listen. There are a few little things that would bring the rating up though. 1) Domingue is not pronounce "Dominique"--during the preview episode and preseason episodes, this was like nails on a chalkboard. 2) the host, while certainly passionate, isn't always the most knowledgeable. He frequently misquotes stats and/or events. This coupled with the tendency to get sidetracked from the current point make for some odd moments. The phrase "I think" is fine. "I'm pretty sure" makes it sound very haphazard. 3) this may be nitpicking, but when the host brings up how long he has been a fan, then goes on to tell us he is in his mid 20s, it somehow cheapens the opinion or expertise of the host. I'm not saying he can't or shouldn't host, but he needs to couch his "lifer" status for a bit in my eyes. Overall a good podcast that is centered on the favorite team of this listener. I love that it's even available, I just wish that at times it sounded a little less Wayne's world and a little more sportsnet.

Should be called occasional podcast not daily
I enjoy these when they happen. But even during the regular season it’s rare to have a full 5 days of podcasts. Maybe hunter needs to split the duties with someone or give them to someone who can commit to doing them. Carter with the Steelers doesn’t miss nearly as many as this one does.
