Ctrain36CPGI love how down to earth the hosts and guests seem. To me, they are celebrities, so listening to their stories is very enjoyable and motivating.
-
IphanplayerWhat I love best about this pod isOnce they stopped the philosophical episodes and started only doing hands it’s a great listen. One of my to 5 pods along with low limit cash games pod, crush live poker pod, and third man walking pod. All top notch poker pods.

Trikky2kJust the right length for a bathroom breakThey make a dollar, I make a dime. That’s why I Tactical Tuesday on company time.

BozNYCGood but could be better…I’ve been listening to the podcast for a few years. Obviously I find it helpful and worth coming back. However, they need to do a better job recognizing that the ‘listeners’ have a difficult time following the action. I get the sense that they assume their audience is ‘watching”

ShootersJPLike…Like…LikeI really like want to like like this podcast. But I can’t like get past the amount of use of the word like. Like do you like get like what I am like saying? You guys should hold each other accountable with a challenge similar to the jellybean episode for every time you use the word like. That might help you break the habit. I seriously cannot focus on the lesson within the content because you freaking use the word so often. I try with every episode hoping it will be different. Then within 5 minutes I turn it off because I just can’t.

smee18That poker lifeNothing beats a good story about a subject you dig. This podcast lets you into the lives of individuals who share a common interest. The game of poker. Stories from the road, stories of learning the game, and often story’s that travel off the beaten path, but give you tremendous insight into personalities of those who pursue and love this crazy game.

MarkSF.Interesting and educational content!I listen to Chasing Poker Greatness in the car on my way to and from work and I’ve been inspired by the content both from interviews and poker strategy. I listen to many poker podcasts but Brad Wilson stands out from the rest because his guest interviews provide far more than poker strategy. In fact, I’ve leaned more about just being human and living life (life strategy) than poker strategy, however my poker game has improved greatly as well. Thanks to Brad and everyone at CPG for making my life and my poker better!
-
snogen1Putting the guest firstThe host Brad Wilson cares more about making his guest look good and letting the guest tell/ explain their story and strategy.

penngggpengggGreatness bombs galoreBrad consistently delivers on great poker content whether it be insightful / entertaining interviews or high level poker strategy (providing listeners with a front row seat into what a typical coaching session would look like - immense value!). He is clearly passionate about the game and the community (look at how many episodes the man puts out!) - I always get hyped to play or study after an episode. 1000% recommend for poker enthusiasts of all levels

SuchbdvjfdCPG has been a great help in my growthThis pod came to me at an important moment in my life. After a minor accident that turned my life upside down this pod complimented and encouraged my journey toward healing. I am 1 year out from the event. At 8 months I was able to find people who could help me start to heal. I had made the decision to continue the process of healing and at at 45 years old and fix the leaks in my life and take poker seriously again. Brad’s ability to seek out the root of an issue or leak (life/poker) has been a great extension to my regeneration journey. The concept of putting in the work and applying intellectual honesty resonates with me on the daily. My life, work home and poker is improving and I finally see prosperity in my future. This pod has been a inspirational and practical box of goodies that I truly appreciate and look forward to opening with each listening. Thank you Brad and the thoughtful and intelligent guests that participate and share their stories.

One Tough FishEasily my favorite podcastI love the CPG podcast. Brad is awesome. He gets the best guests and asks the best questions. Brad also sounds like a really nice guy. I would love to get poker coaching from him one day!
-
SvlifttechTops my playlistI have about four or five poker podcasts I regularly listen to but CPG is at the top of the list. Coach Brad is great at interviewing his guests and often moves the conversation beyond poker and into many intriguing and thought provoking conversations. Greatness bomb after greatness bomb in poker and in life. And coach Brad puts out nothing but positive vibes do check it out.
-
Deadmoney_VGreat job!The best poker podcast on earth! Every accomplished poker player, whose story I wanted to hear is on this podcast. Also Brad is just natural at interviewing people!

FreshStart132322Great ShowThink Brad and Thomas are actually geniuely interested in providing helpful and insightful poker content. Have listen to about 10 different episodes and have found something I greatly enjoy from each episode. Can't wait to listen to more.

Ziffer PimmelweatherNot Your Regular Poker PodcastThis podcast pulls back the curtain on some of the greatest minds in poker. Every week we get to hear a different poker or poker-adjacent professional, and learn what makes them tick. Yes, there is strategy, but what makes this podcast different is the way Brad Wilson brings out the humanity of these pros. Where did they come from? What were their mistakes and what did they learn from those mistakes? Chasing Poker Greatness not only makes poker feel accessible, but communal.
-
DHanichakGreat- especially Tactical Tuesday!I love hearing how some of these pros got their start and built up to high stakes pros. But even better is Tactical Tuesdays. It’s hard to find audio content breaking down cash game strategy, particularly online 6max. This is perfect to turn the daily commute into somewhat of a study session. Keep it up!

SkarnedNote on position conundrumYou touched on utg and how it is not an accurate representation of position. You could do something like starting from button. So button is one, CO 2, hi jack 3 and so on. Also you can easily solve problem of how many players at table by stating it as first number. So, if 8 players and you’re hi jack, 8 3. So sb would always be 8, bb 7 etc. I can’t figure out why I am doing it backwards and not making sb 1 and btn 8 other than the fact that I like saying #1 for button.
-
jasonbsuA genius interviewerA great interviewer makes it feel completely natural to all of a sudden be talking about something from way back in your life that you never thought you'd be speaking of. No boring pre-prepared stuff, just off-the-cuff fun and honest conversation. That's the type of quality I experienced coming on Brad's show. Highly recommend.
-

Richard PhilosophyIntelligent and honestI listen to a lot of podcasts. But even among those Brad is an exceptional interviewer who asks probing questions that keeps listeners interested and entertained. You can tell that he has integrity and does not succumb to herd mentality. I especially recommend his interview with DGAF, who also does an amazing podcast himself.
-
Fooze666The gems of advice in every episode are pricelessI have completely turned my game around after listening to these podcasts and finally deciding to follow the advice that I kept hearing over and over from like 90% of the pro players. I Started working on mental game stuff, thinking about things differently, studying better, being more aggressive about moving up. It's done wonders.
-
JenShahadeGreat interviews and guests!Brad does a fabulous job of finding both well known guests and also people you haven’t heard of yet but will be everywhere soon. From my own interview with him I saw he takes podcasting very seriously, from prep to sound to post production. It shows in the final product!

Brent PerkinsNew and refreshing outlook on pokerKnowledge is key and we should never stop learning. Learning is how you become the best at your profession. Listening and watching Brad has been a fantastic experience. Our Discord group of players have gained so much from learning about their own games. It has created a greater awareness of my own faults and how to fix them. Chasing Poker Greatness is full of valuable content that is easily some of the best in the game. Jebron Lames

The ParasomniacBrad Wilson is a Gift to PokerI can count the number of people I trust in poker on one hand, and Brad is one of them. Not only is he passionate about building a supportive community, but he is selfless with his time and his knowledge, and it shows in his podcast. Brad is very analytical in his approach, and likes to focus on the aspects of poker that so many people in the limelight do not. If you're a poker player, this is a must listen.
-
GJ_pokerFun poker content for any level of poker enthusiastI have only had a chance to listen to the Matt Berkey podcast so far but it was interesting, honest and had something for everyone who has an interest in poker and the poker player life. The refreshing way topics like bankroll management and failing to have only an upward trending set of results and story was a perfect reality check for all professionals grinding a living or passionate recreational players looking to take stock of where they are in their poker journey. Brad asked great questions and gave Matt the freedom to explore multiple topics in a natural and well paced manner that made the 70+ minutes fly past. A great listen and huge motivation to those containing to chase poker greatness at any level!
