LOVE each & every episode, but not worth subscribing for $5/month when there’s a whole month going by with no knew ep. Good stories though, most importantly.

These are great stories. I love that they’re real and told by the actual people. Sometimes I wish that they were cut together into longer episodes though. Two stories just isn’t enough!

I miss you Terry…and Malachi too! Hands down the best creepy stories!

My favorite podcast. This show had me so freaked out walking around the city. I can’t wait for it to return!

When this show is good (episode 37) it’s phenomenal. When it’s not (episode 38) I skip it. It’s so entertaining when the episodes are about close calls with serial killers or similar. When it’s about fake haunted b.s. it’s boring, but you can skip those. It’s like cutting the crust off. The reward is worth it.

LOVE Radio Rental- But it feels like it’s not coming back… only upside is, April will get to come back as a host on Rattled & Shook!

Love everything about this show. Give the world some more.

They have it listed as a new episode every week, but now it's just random. I don't understand how this podcast works. Used to be one of my favorites, but now I'm not so sure. Definitely won't be subscribing anytime soon. Don't want to pay money to a show that drops 3-5 episodes a year. Not sure why they're putting this very popular show on the back burner. Maybe Payne has too many projects. I feel like all these hiatuses are tarnishing the name for this show. Feels like wasted potential on something that was great.

But when will there be more episodes? I miss it!

We need more Terry Carnation, more Malachi, more voids, more radio rental! Love this podcast.

Very VERY little storytelling. The majority of the podcast is Terry blathering on and also an obscene amount of ads and the last 5-6 minutes of the podcast is just some lady reading all the credits. Two stories only a few minutes long each and they’re dumb. Not to mention they go on “hiatus” for months on end. Definitely not worth paying for a subscription! What happened???? This used to be so good.

The stories are great but the host… cringy and hard to listen to.

Terry aka rainn Wilson is the reason this show isn’t famous, he drags the whole thing down

I listen to this podcast almost every day it’s so good keeps me on my toes! I just wish that there were more episodes coming out more frequently.

This pod was my gateway drug into podcasts as a whole. Tenderfoot TV will always have a place in my heart, Radio Rental was a show I truly anticipated week after week. However I fear now it will not return to its fullest. Hiatus has been taking too long…… Payne please hone in on the shows that have beef and stop stretching yourself too thin… Xoxo

Had a membership to tenderfoot to help scratch the radio rental itch. But the last full episode was released in December 2024! Not worth it. Maybe Payne Lindsey has too many projects? Just wish there was more consistency to the release of the show. The frequency states “update weekly.” False. Love the show. Love the idea. Hate how time goes by and you lose the radio rental itch…

I love the show! I love that Rainn Wilson is the host and I enjoy his bits. I love the stories! Sometimes the background music doesn’t match the story, and it’s distracting. Not only distracting bc I don’t like the melody or something, but occasionally it’s too loud, or on a constant loop for a 7min story, and maybe the sounds a very ethereal but the story is not at all ethereal. Sometimes the storytellers are super repetitive as if the show was made for commercial breaks. Also, I love you Payne, but whenever you randomly pipe in with comments... it’s totally random/unneeded. I think you’re doing it to guide the story- it doesn’t guide the story. However- these tiny annoyances don’t deter me from listening! I love the stories so much! Especially the doppelgänger one- whoa! Can’t wait for the next season.

Really good podcast and love the spin that the people tell their own stories, Terrys parts are funny and can be good for breaking the tension of being spooked out, not a fan of how much ads there are which kind of takes me out of it but not in the good way Terry does.

I love this and Terry makes me laugh. Reminds me why I don’t go camping

I’m enjoying most of the stories, but 2/3 of the podcast is commercials and the host talking. The host can be funny, but I skip the majority of his parts. Some of the stories are lackluster, but overall it’s a pretty pretty entertaining podcast.

I’ve loved this podcast from the beginning. Come on rainn, we’re better than this. Stories have gotten so short and wack. I am not enjoying myself anymore. Plus, I’m poor, please bring back the good stuff, consistently*. Please.

Some reviews state that the access commentary and long ads are a bust, and they are. The stories are also getting less exciting, however, I still love them. I wonder if nobody is sending stories in? I hardly see this show advertised. I hope they don’t give up— this is a great show. They need to keep it coming… and more often.

The episodes have declined…they are so short too with too many ads and dumb commentary by terry. I fast forward through Rainns dumb parts. What happened? Someone dropped the ball.

This podcast is really good. The comedy of Terry Carnation makes it fun. The stories are all well done. They are scary & interesting . Every story I’ve listened to is a good listen.

I listen to this podcast on repeat all the time. I love listening to people tell their own stories and with sound effects added it’s like I’m in their mind. Love this podcast and i recommend it to everyone.

Just ok. Used to be really good. Lots of open ended stuff about terry. Dark air was good until they lost interest in doing that. He’s in a void, then no mention of a void for 4 episodes or more. Just kinda random, “oh we have to puke up an episode again” content. Stories aren’t really creepy. Just basically decent stories about being afraid or whatever. Kinda meh

I LOVE THIS SHOW. LOVE Terry, Malachi, the stories, look forward to Friday every week. The last season was okay, really miss the “Radio Rental” dialogue and sub-plots. Excited as always for the next season❤️

I enjoy this show, but I feel like the listener stories are shrinking and the Terry content is growing. I preferred the earlier version of the show. Also, it goes on hiatus all the time without warning and you never know when it’s coming back.

Avid listener here. But I miss the original style of the episode stories. They were otherworldly, odd, and interesting. Now they’re more like true crime stories from the 1st person pov. It doesn’t feel lighthearted anymore.

I love the side stories of Terry and his cat 😂 really entertaining. The actual stories and chilling and attention getting. I like that they are narrated by the actual person the incident happened to. I can’t stop listening !

I love this podcast! The first few seasons are kinda drawn out, repetitive. I find myself barrel-rolling my hands in a “spit it out!” motion, but not it a edge of my seat sort of way. More of a “she’s literally already said this” sort of way. The newer seasons are gold though!

This show used to be the best. Super good stories of the unexplained. It’s definitely turned into more of a close call podcast and it’s not the same. Wish they’d bring back the old type of stories.

I have seriously loved this podcast for a very long time, but about two seasons ago the already short podcast episodes started being FILLED with ads. There’s a minute of ads before the show starts, Terry plugs the ad-free version, and then the episode starts. It’s ads, walking into the shop and a story, another ad break, a story, another ad, Terry saying goodbye, and then more ads. Even though you can skip through and not listen to the ads at the end, my hands are busy. That’s why I’m listening to a podcast, plus I don’t want to have to skip forward every 8ish minutes during a podcast episode less than a half hour long. I know that they want you to subscribe to the ad-free version, but this is one of two tenderfoot podcasts I listen to and, because of the ads, I don’t enjoy it very much anymore, so why in the world would I pay to listen? Without the ads, I’m sure the episodes are only 15 minutes anyway. Rattled and Shook has just as many ad breaks, but the episodes are closer to an hour so it’s not as overbearing. As it is now, Radio Rental is annoying to deal with so I don’t listen as much, which is a shame because the podcast itself is very good.

With peace and love the narration adds nothing. It’s not clever, it’s not funny.

Radio Rental used to be a favorite of mine; however, this show has been on a steady decline for some time. Terry Carnation’s ramblings are annoying at best, and the stories are diet versions of seasons past. So much potential, yet sadly falls short anymore.

Unfortunately I haven’t quite listen to it but I will be listening to it right now yeah
