I had always thought these would make the best sleep sounds. The only thing that would make this better would be to cut together episodes in different lengths, for example, 15, 30, 60, 90 minutes. Hats off to your genius!

This is a great idea but the recordings need to be edited to 1. Include the "sailing by" music that usually comes before the shipping forecast (very soothing) and 2. Cut off immediately after the shipping forecast ends. Including the national anthem and news afterwards often wakes me up after drifting peacefully off to sleep, which kind of defeats the purpose. Just cut it off after the announcer wishes us a peaceful night.

This is the most wonderful podcast for falling asleep. I absolutely adore this.

As a Brit abroad it is so wonderful to have this institution available whenever I need it to help me drift off to sleep. So many happy memories of listening to this with my Dad…North Utsire, South Utsire, German Bight…the British lullaby for those of us lucky enough not to be out in those gales. More episodes please please and thank you for putting these up.
