savvykassDelightful DadsThey are actually dads, not playing as them, and bringing that real dad energy is part of what sets them a step above. They have references and (dad) jokes but they bring you in on them with the links in the descriptions. That’s some small detail and quality of care right there. They embrace the make’um’ups but aren’t shy to rules lawyer and get crunchy. There was an episode missing on Apple Podcasts that wasn’t missing on podbean and within a day of commenting about this I had a response! TL;DR these guys go hard, so quoth the Queen!

JR402424Great stuffOnly recently started listening but I really enjoy their style, plus being a dad of a similar age their dated references and dad jokes hit perfectly. Well done fellas.

WhiskeryNewtThe dads do it right!!!These fine fathers make a pod, story, and game that’s a wonder to listen to. Even though it’s just four guys in there remote basements they have great audio, there characters have left me laughing, crying or grinning ear to ear. The feel of this podcast is so homely it really bring you in. Tim, Thom, John, and Sam I can almost picture your smiles threw the audio. What a blast and keep having fun.

entreintraingEpic tale full of heart and twistsNever played dungeons and dragons but was looking for a good story. I found Dungeon Dads about 6 months ago and have finally caught up to the live story. The 3 players are quick witted and find the best ways to mess with the DMs storylines only to find that the DM is able to roll with the punches. I recommend to anyone who enjoys an immersive story that draws you in. I can’t help but pull for 3 misfits characters that find their place in a strange and dark world. Every war must end but I really hope this one doesn’t have to. Keep up the good work and give me a 4th season please!

TikiMay92Awesome job guysI recently found you guys by accident when searching for another similarly named podcast. You guys are awesome and it reminds me of an actual DND session and find myself laughing regularly. My only complaint would be to add the bonus content from the podcast to YouTube. I love the bonus content and switched back to podcast form when I noticed the bonus content wasn’t there. Visuals would be cool too, like d20. Keep up the great work guys, I hope more and more people find out about you.

benau1214Looking for a laugh, stayed for the story.Best review I can give: I listen to this show while I’m on the treadmill at the gym. I hate the treadmill at the gym. The other day I suddenly realized I had gone 5 minutes past my time because I was so wrapped up in the story these guys were weaving.

GardishiAn amazing show with wonderful friendsI have listened to this show from since the beginning. So many plot twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat. You can tell that these friends truly enjoy doing what they do and will keep you laughing from beginning to end. Thanks for the great show guys. Keep them coming.

foxjh14Follow up now that I’ve joined them on Patreon. So far Mountain City Mayham has been everything I’d hoped it would be. So much chaos and fun, the added production value of the opening song, sound effects and John singing his spells is great. Worth every penny. Then there are the bonus episodes, I’ve been listening since these guys had like their 3rd or 4th episode, and before they decided to start their patreon and devote more time to their craft. Enjoy the (for lack of a better word) teaser bonus episodes but seriously they are worth the price on their own. Dungeon dads, if you see this. You guys should think of playing on twitch, would be fun to watch live.

The Maze MasterCome for the Dad Jokes, Stay for the Story!Dungeon Dads! What a quirky, zany show. You think dads can't play a mean game of D&D? This pod will prove you wrong. You'll feel like you're grooving at the gaming table with the dads on the show, and you'll get a thrill out of the enthusiastic portrayal of the adventuring crew! It's not long, however, before the Dungeon Dads get down to business - Tom the DM paints the world vividly, bringing alive the various lands and peoples - whilst Abel, Filnere, Ionis, and Jonas power through puzzles, combats, and curious encounters. Have a seat, you'll feel right at home. Come for the dad jokes and pop culture commentary, stay for their fantastic storytelling - the way only dads can do it! Dungeon Dads. It's on.

R2K2TylerGivin' some fives and 'scribesAn intriguing story. Relevant* pop culture references. Dad jokes. THIS is my podcast of the year. The first podcast I've ever jumped onto Patreon to support financially. Give them a listen, and you're bound to end up binging every episode as quickly as you can. *possibly stretching on this claim

Jon from North BellmoreYou're Doing Tempus' WorkAs a relatively new player (a little over a year) and fellow full-time dad, I have become a full-time fan and Patreon subscriber. These guys rule. I love that they get into the minutia and number crunching that goes into character creation. The fan interaction is next-level as well. Keep it up, guys.

Scooter PiratesBingeworthyI started listening to this on a 3 hour solo drive and didn't quite know what to expect. I played D&D in high school but haven't since. By the end of the drive, I was hooked and couldn't wait to get back in the car and listen to more episodes. Great, engaging podcast guys, can't wait to hear the rest of it!

jungwolfNot just for parentsSmart and funny. If you like storytelling give them a listen. Their framework is D&D but the talent is universal.

buddhafrogEasiest DND podcast to listen toThis is really great. A+. Highly encourage you to give it a try. Easiest dnd podcast to listen to - great friends, funny, good recording, not too long, original, smart. Each PC is original. I’ve tried maybe two dozen dnd podcasts over the years and this ranks up there with the very best. Keep it up fellas! Thanks!

Whatever121pdaScribed and five’dWow. Love this podcast. I played DnD back in the late 80’s and early 90’s with my high school friends and I have missed it ever since. I love the way you make this accessible for those of us who have reached our 4th and 5th decades. Thanks for all that you do. Love the content!

CaraAMNot caught up yet, but....I love these guys they are soo funny but tell a good story along the way. This is very akin to TAZ and Critical role. I recommend to everyone. I didn’t listen to the backstory episodes but I will later.

Mulanoz5’s and scribesWhat’s not to love with these dads. They’re real people playing characters that almost feel real. They do a great job being there characters and portraying them. They are in my top four D&D podcasts. With Critical Role, High Rollers, and The Venture Maidens. Gotta give them a chance and they’ll definitely do it for you.

0ddiganSmuckers Natural with HoneyBeing a gaming dad myself (of twins no less) I appreciate the time and energy it takes for these guys to put out such a spectacular adventure and make it sound effortless. I love the puns, I love the characters, I love the world they’ve built! Also, if you’ve kept up with the podcast you’ll understand the review title. ~@0ddigan~

AsTimeDrawsNearCan’t get enough!I honestly didn’t think I was going to like these guys... but then after listening through I realized how REAL they are, they play DnD like how I play DnD! I can’t wait for the new releases, keep up the good work! Also, I love hearing about the kiddos, hope my lil’ guy gets into DnD someday. ~Hairy Krishna

cornhobblerD&D&DA long time ago I used to fear facing Dragons and Beholders... then I had kids. After changing a blown-out diaper with one hand while fixing a toy for a screaming toddler in the other all while singing “Baby Shark” for the four THOUSANDTH time in a row, fighting a dragon doesn’t seem that hard. Dads know no fear. These guys are a blast! A fun story, entertaining characters and no diapers in sight! ( 👶🦈Do do do do do do)

tripplefastBringing me BackLove this Podcast it’s bringing me back to my youth. Listing to this and enjoying it makes me understand why my niece and nephew watch YouTube videos of kids playing video games. The big difference though Is these guys are also great storytellers so it’s way more interesting.
