I have an overnight job with lots of solitude that allows me many hours weekly to listen to audiobooks and podcasts. I listen to three bourbon related podcasts but The Bourbon Hunters podcasts were my first intro and remain my favorite. Listening to their back catalog of episodes also introduced me to Bourbon Pursuit and The Black and Brown Podcast. As I begin my second year of whiskey interest I head into 2025 in a much better headspace than when my podcast feed was all scandal and true crime. The only downside I can think of is my wallet is a little lighter since developing a taste for bourbon. I appreciate listening to TBH dive into the history of the spirits the try on the show and it sounds like they all are good friends and have quite the collection and selection. Honestly the episodes that stick out to me the most are the ones where they try the old Wild Turkey cheesey gold foil bottles or the Pride of Anderson county. Those sound like my ultimate unicorns. Keep up the good work and thanks for all the hours of great content for us nightshift guys delivering groceries

Always on the hunt for a new podcast and a different perspective. First impressions started with a Mouth Feel Monday. I am hoping the constant lip smacking isn’t a recurring theme as it’s a huge turn off. We know you’re tasting, we don’t need to hear your KY chew while doing so. Will continue to listen to a few more in search of a fresh perspective on bourbon and will update my review accordingly.

I listened to a couple of episodes with my finger on the fast forward. Man, these guys suffer from some serious ADHD and go down too many non-whiskey rabbit holes. Maybe 10% bourbon talk at most? Focus, Boys. And edit.

This podcast is a breath of fresh air with its non biased honest opinions that a bourbon enthusiast like myself values so much. The knowledge that I’ve picked up listening here has been second to none. I recommend and encourage anybody and everybody to listen to Dude, Brett and sometimes Tyler (hahaha) on Bourbon Hunters Podcast. Thanks guys and keep the great stuff rolling in!!!!!

I’m new in my bourbon journey by about 6 months. Listening to these fellows weekly has helped me choose and expand my collection to well over 4 dozen bottles. I always take one or two of your top recommendations and add it to my list. If this keeps up I may soon be headed to divorce court to gain custody of my collection. Keep up the good work guys!!

Why is he even on the show. He doesn't have a big nose so he can't smell properly. He doesn't have all day to read like dude, so his bourbon knowledge is a bit low. Really, the kid is only good for making mouth noises throughout the episode.

Tyler sounds like my 4 year old toddler who gets distracted putting her seatbelt on when she hears a dog bark. The popping noises he makes with his mouth sound like Bobby Boucher trying to speak to Vickie for the first time.

I love listening to Dude and Brett talk about bourbon and whiskey. They understand how to taste and review that sweet nectar of the gods. Tyler is really great about being distracted and playing on his phone or completely checking out of a show. Tyler is a useless as the ‘ueue’ in ‘queue’ and was happy to find out that Tyler wasn’t at the barrel pick. It is one of my favorite bottle and I glad I picked up two. Every time the show starts and I hear Tylers voice I think ‘Aha! The F*&%-Up Fairy has graced us with his presence’ Keep up the great show!!

I’ve been watching the podcasts for a year now. Because Tyler has FINALLY gotten a respectable palate, I figured it was time to give the podcast a 5 star review! But he missed the Ezra episode; so it might good back to trash. What’s the saying? “If you don’t use it, you’ll lose it”

Definitely a go to Podcast to listen to while relaxing and sipping bourbon! Dudes voice is majestic. Brett seems pretty cool.....but Tyler? What’s up with that guy? His knowledge goes about as far as his weightlifting career.....nowhere! It’s like spewing hot vomit over a mic for 60min straight! It’s kinda like watching the video of the goat screaming on repeat every-time he speaks! It makes me want to punch every bottle of whiskey I own in the throat! He’s the podcast equivalent of Chanel West Coast. But In all seriousness! This is a great podcast for the bourbon enthusiast! Sorry Tyler! Dude, please stop talking over people. Especially when you have guests on. Pretty annoying... **EDIT** Over time and experience Dude has stepped back from the mic a bit leaving more room for Tyler and Brett Paul Bryan (not a serial killer) to grace us with their bourbon knowledge! Brett is cool, but man was I wrong about wanting to hear more from Tyler!
