I’m probably going to repeat what a lot of reviews have already said, but Infectious Groove deserves all the praise. This is a quintessential listen for any music fans out there. The hosts all have different genre tastes and perspectives, they cover everything from albums to concerts, they share music related stories, etc. It’s also a great podcast for those looking for new music to seek their teeth into. I love this show. As a life long music nerd this is exactly what I need in a podcast. Russ, Kyle and Michelle are 3 very different music minds, and that’s just right. Coming from 3 different tastes it gives you a real feel for the material on their album reviews, and different perspectives on the discussions they do. Russ’ depth of knowledge keeps everything grounded and I learn something every episode. Kyle comes in with the diversity and gives me a glimpse of music I would otherwise not really hear about. Michelle, though she’ll try to fool you, knows quite a bit about the artists she’s passionate about. This show keeps you laughing and opens your eyes to great music. this is a really cool podcast the episode about music snobbery really spoke to me I have an eclectic taste in music but I am a 100% snob when it comes to hip hop and ANY music that came out in the 90's ( i mean literally anything hip hop country r&b, rock and roll, metal it doesn't matter) but hey you say snob I say curator of excellent music lol anyway great show guys if you love music this podcast is it.

I’m normally not a huge listener to music podcasts - don’t get me wrong - I love music and think people should all around listen to more of it. The problem is, unlike some other mediums, music is such an incredibly personal thing to people. When people start talking music, certain things become abundantly clear - genre lines get drawn- flags get planted in the sand and folks mark out their specific fandom hills that they intend to make their stand on- and are subsequently quick to banish genres, styles, and artists who don’t make their cut outright. And it’s for all of those reasons that Infectious Groove can transcend and rise above those “other” music podcasts I have listened to. Their catholicity of taste, their understanding of music history, and their ability to compare apples to apples, while still understanding that each album, artist, and genre they cover are wholly unique and worthy of review. Where else could you have a conversation that includes Garth Brooks, Eminem, Death Metal, Fleetwood Mac, Classic Rock, and Modern Jazz? Russell, Kyle, & Michelle are here to share their love of music- and they do it with adroit efficiency and knowledge. Knowledgeable hosts that have fantastic chemistry together! Honestly the hour long shows aren’t enough. It truly went by way too quickly. Which also just means I have to go back through their backlog and catch up! A fun show with hosts who know what they are talking about! - Game For A Movie

Chemistry is the main ingredient in a successful podcast and Infectious Groove has it in spades. The three hosts have an easygoing rapport and manage to riff on each other while staying on topic (another important element in a successful podcast). It’s all about the music in this show and I love it for that.

Coming from the Pacific Northwest I loved the episode on grunge music. It was awesome. All these Washington Bands deserve some love. I also wanted to mention on the best singers to come out of the state, Bing Crosby was from Spokane, Wa. Different style, but amazing voice. Thanks guys.

I recently discovered this podcast discussing all things music. I am impressed at how easily their passion and knowledge flows out. The hosts are engaging while also being very funny. Their episode on Van Halen tugged at my heart strings and also made me want to relisten to some old VH albums. Highly recommended. The podcast is hitting its stride in the second season. The team meshes together better and the interviews and more free-form topic episodes provide variety in tone and content. The interviews are consistently awesome and the host shows a deep knowledge of and appreciation for both the interviewee and their music. These episodes are worth a subscription on their own. I’m less drawn to the topic episodes but they’re not infrequently entertaining and insightful in their own right. 🤘🏻

And what’s really awesome is with each episode they create a playlist of songs they’ve chosen for you to jam to while busy. They seriously need a radio deal.
