Cas1995&Wet mouth sounds….. YUCK!I love this podcast but please, for the love of everything good, stop using wet mouth sounds. I understand it takes us into the story, but the prevalence of this phobia should be enough to stop doing it. Crunching is good, but the wet sounds during chewing or kissing/making out makes me throw my ear phones across the room (not exaggerating). I am still back in the 2023 episodes so if I notice an improvement, I will be happy to change my rating.

Bhoelle1809Predictable, bad grammar, bad writing, constant adsThis show just gets worse and worse. He actually came out to address the constant ads, only to basically say “get over it.” He clearly isn’t learning either. He’s not improving. Sometimes there’s a gem in here, but most stories are so distractingly awful that it’s genuinely hard to listen. At least he doesn’t do the constant mouth sounds like in his older episodes.

The stories keep me engaged, they are creepy which is helped by the spot on narration & the eerie music that plays in the background. I will definitely listen to all 700 & some. James Barrón“There’s A Mysterious Letter Delivered Only At Dawn” literally almost had me in the fetal position.This is my first ever review, but that episode compelled me to comment. It was phenomenal like many of these stories, but “There’s A Mysterious Letter Delivered Only At Dawn” was special. It really felt unique to any of the ones I’ve listened to in the past. It was intriguing, spooky, and emotional. I know it will be one I revisit many times. I cannot recommend this podcast enough.

91784reddBest of all podcastsI want to start out by saying that if anyone says Dr.nosleep is not good, is insane! This guy is the most talented when it comes to telling stories! He does the narrating, and the voices for every character! He’s a very gifted storyteller! The stories are fantastic! I found Dr.Nosleep when I started working nights a few months ago, and I look forward to hearing his stories every week! I have my son, and husband hooked. I can’t say enough good things about this podcast!

MJ.225My favorite podcast…BUTThe stories used to have a tasteful amount of gore to not take away from the plot but to also add something to the story. Now the stories feel too gory/ foul and the sound effects (ie. vomit sounds, which occur far too frequently) take away from my overall enjoyment of the story too and even make me unable to finish an episode. Additionally, the plot gets lost within it all. Truly disappointing and I really hope to see more of your older style content.

The stories are individual in their details and have the most surprising twists and turns. The cliff hangers have me waiting for notifications! Keep up the great work Doc!

It’s never just a gun in his stories for example, it’s a FN Herstal Scar-L chambered for 7.62 armor piercing rounds or a two tone Sig Sauer 9mm fired from a low wake boat! The devi is in the details. Keep up the excellent and consistent work. Oh. And the stories are great too! Dr No Sleep lives in my head!!! All his characters also share my exact viewpoints on just about everything in life too. I’m a STAN!!!
