LalaRose02Tuned IN!!Strategy Simplified stream has quickly become a favorite! The interesting discussions, thought-provoking writing, and useful suggestions never cease to astound me. Every time I listen, I genuinely learn something. I thought it was a great idea to put the needs of the client first in these difficult economic times. We are all having trouble! It was excellent to conduct the Net Disposable analysis and to take steps to put employee welfare first. This podcast is really educational and offers helpful advice on how to handle a variety of issues at work. Listening to the episode on business priorities in the post-pandemic environment is especially beneficial and enjoyable.

#1 mxerAbsolutely StellarWow, what is there to say? Strategy Simplified has it all: from firm profiles to case studies, helpful tips to in-depth drill strategies, if management consulting is a career you would like to pursue there is no better resource that Strategy Simplified. My personal favorites are the live case walkthroughs. These are a great way to start your case prep journey by grabbing a piece of paper, following along, and comparing yourself to the top applicants in your future cohort. The team at Management Consulted have also shown great enthusiasm for their clientele, through promotion and sponsorship of various student-focused initiatives. All-around, this is a nearly comprehensive one-stop shop for all your consulting career path needs. Thanks MC!

hailey007haileyGreat podcast! This podcast taught me so much about the basics of the case interview when I was first starting out and didn’t know what to do. tie-dye-crocsLearn something new every time I listenIf you’re planning on applying to an MBB or are interested in a career in management consulting, you have to check out Strategy Simplified. Growing your case interview muscle takes continuous practice and repetition, and the mock interview style episodes, led by ex-MBBs, are a great way to observe how those interviews will play out in an actual interview setting. I pick up tons of pointers related to marketing sizing problems and challenging mental math problems, and I feel more and more confident about my upcoming MBB interviews every time I tune in.

sag2323Great Career Management resourceI love Strategy Simplified podcast for multiple reasons and highly recommend it. - Easily accessible (Apple Podcast, Spotify) - They mostly talk about how to break in consulting, but almost all of it is applicable to other areas of business as well. The podcast shares excellent insights and tips about consulting as well as general career management tools such as cover letter, resume writing. Very practical interview preparation tools. - I also love their industry guestspeakers who talk about a wide variety of topics such as pandemic and future of the work space, MBA admission and preparation, inclusion and diversity in professional setting, salary negotiation etc. It’s a great source to polish your interview preparation skills!

Ish MawlaIncredible content - Jenny Rae is such a gemAs a candidate preparing for consulting case interviews and learning more about the consultant’s mind and lifestyle - I have found no better resource than Strategy Simplified. Incredible content, nothing parallels Strategy Simplified, period. Here are three reasons why you should subscribe to this podcast: 1. Flexibility and portability of audio - can’t seem to find enough time to prepare for case interviews? No worries, listen to Strategy Simplified case walkthroughs when you’re at work or while cooking dinner. I have found “learning by listening to Strategy Simplified” a great way to prepare for cases when taking long walks or going on runs. While listening to case walkthrough recordings, I pause when Jenny Rae asks the candidate a question and speak-out-loud the response before listening to what the interviewee said (I might look like a weirdo mumbling to myself while taking a walk, but who cares, I find it incredibly helpful!) 2. Industry-specific knowledge - Jenny Rae does balance sheet/financial review of companies and goes over what the major drivers of revenues, costs, etc have been over the past year for the company. You can use these insights to gain industry specific knowledge for case interviews. I recently used Jenny Rae’s review of GM’s financials in an automotive case practice. Definitely came in handy. 3. Knowledge from key industry players in consulting - Jenny Rae has a lot of connections with key players in the consulting industry. I learned a lot from her interview with Keith Bevans from Bain and Amber Grewal from BCG. Why listen to these leaders speak? Well, they determine how the company sees recruitment of candidates and that trickles down to the individual office-level when the offices are interviewing you. I’ve found it particularly helpful to see how Bain vs. BCG (as one example) *thinks* about recruitment. Subscribing to this podcast should be a no-brainer, do it now!

rachborlandSo interesting and easy to follow!I’ve never thought about Uber and their competitors not having brand loyalty because they can’t control customer experience. Soooo true! I loved these perspectives. Thanks Management Consulted!
-
@anr25Loved this! So interesting!Great clear and simple teaching :)
-
Qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm🙈Disney and UberSmart, articulate, and perfectly simplified for those interested in to-the-point business opinions and strategies.
-
jaesjbDisney and UberThanks for a bite-sized business review that is comprehensive and interesting!
-
piperlaurieA consumer’s perspectiveJust thinking about this from a consumer’s perspective, you’re right. I certainly have no brand loyalty to Uber. I’m a fickle customer ... all things being equal, I’ll go with whatever product or service works best for me at the time. As far as streaming services, I’m more loyal to Amazon than Netflix (cancelled my Netflix) only because of political stances the latter took that I didn’t feel was the purview of a corporation. Thus would make a good subject, albeit a sensitive one, for your next podcast! 😊
