I was looking forward to a fun and interesting podcast in English based in HK yet unfortunately found myself quite disappointed. I understand that as comedians they need to make jokes to make people laugh, but some of their statements are just plain ignorant. Not all people have lived lives where “420” clicks as something inappropriate automatically. I am over 30 years old, lived in over 10 countries and didn’t know about this terminology until I met my pothead (now) ex, 2 years ago. “Weed” was not something that immediately registered in my mind upon seeing 4/20, and I find it rude that they laugh about that being somehow ignorant and abnormal. It would’ve been funny if they had just mentioned that they were say “potheads” even if that were an overstatement, and then laughed about seeing 4/20 and how they thought it was hilarious. Also the fact that one of the guys immediately thought of racist jokes, but only refrained from saying them out loud from “fear of being cancelled”, shows the lack of respect he has towards the people and the culture here (regardless of whatever ethnicity he’s from). They're whole take on making fun of others (be it kids who have a desires to go to school for example) just feels very off putting and not a great influence overall. I think there are more benign ways of producing comedy. I give them 2 stars for creating a podcast and hustling, but I find it hard to feel the desire to support them. Sorry.

Great podcast so far. Good dynamic between the two comedians. Looking forward to future shows.

Andy and Vivek are not only the best comedians in Hong Kong but they offer a perspective that is both local and international. Vivek grew up in the city speaking Cantonese just like a local. And Andy is a comedy pioneer in China. So excited!

Been following Andy since he was in Shanghai. Hilarious guy, creepy mustache. He’ll probably get booted from HK and have to move to Taiwan at some point (Xi Dada is not a fan) but give him a listen!

Great podcast with talented and seasoned hosts! Awesome way to keep in touch with what’s happening in Hong Kong.

These guys know comedy, and they have years of experience in the trenches. It shows in the podcasts where you get though provoking comedy that is timely and gets our minds off of the craziness going on in the world right now.

Best podcast about Hong Kong by a couple of chuckleheads.

This guys are two of my favorite comics. Definitely worth a listen!

Ho ho Hong Kong is a really good casual podcast regarding miscellaneous things regarding daily life in HK. It’s informative, funny, and doesn’t take itself too seriously which makes it a great podcast to listen to while jogging for me.

Mainland powerhouse Andy Curtain joins with Hong Kong local legend Vivek Mahbubani - these guys are not only hilariously funny, but also very insightful in their coverage of HK topics. Definitely worth a listen!

I always love listening to these guys - if you live in HK or China or just love comedy, you will enjoy this show!
