GunnyHighway88Love the hosts and the way they tell the story.I am loving this show. The hosts know how to tell a story and they keep me interested. Far too many times, I hear a podcast where the hosts go off on tangents that mean nothing to the episode. Not these two. They go right into the story and don’t ramble on about nonsense. As someone who is fascinated with Canada, I am enjoying hearing stories about places, I’ve never heard of. It just feels different than other shows that are based in the U.S. which is where I’m at. I’m new to the podcast and I’ve only heard a couple of episodes, but I can’t wait to hear more. Keep up the good work!

Momma HannahLove it!I love how informative this podcast is. It’s a good way to get through the workday!

Jeseca713Respectful True CrimeThis is podcast is thoroughly researched and not sensationalized. They are inclusive and interesting. One of my choice true crime podcasts.

NicoleDavis1988Great true crime podcast!Love this podcast! It’s well done and respectfully put together to pay tribute to the victims and their families. I live in the US so I don’t know many of these stories, which is great because many podcasts do the same cases. The only downside is they don’t release episodes too often. I subscribe to patreon so there’s a lot more for patrons to listen to which I understand, they need to be profitable to put the work in. I would recommend subscribing to patreon to anyone, lots more content and no ads!

Michelle19952017ReviewVery similar in quality to Generation Why and Case File. The only constructive criticism I have is to limit the interviewee clips to only when necessary. People are listening to hear the hosts. The Jeffrey episode was essentially unlistenable.

Dobiedog129One of my favoritesTNTC is one of my favorites very informative and keeps you interested the whole time while Grahame and Caitlin tell the story from the victims perspective and family members

purple rainbootsBasic and dullDon’t know purpose of playing family/friend’s comments, narrative and views as hosts of podcast repeatedly restate /repeat/summarize what family/friend just said. Story could be told in small fraction of the time as much info is irrelevant, much is repeated/restated. Hosts voices are flat, dull, slow and robotic. Not clear on purpose of the cadence and lack of variation in voices.

B•BumpusI would give a higher rating; BUT…The BUT for me in not giving a higher rating is a choice the creators have made to do 2 things the first is simply to have what seems to be about a 50% focus on MISSING PEOPLE. And this may not be any different. The 2nd factor is this year the podcasters have made SIGNIFICANTLY MORE EPISODES UNDER THE PREMIUM WALL MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO HEAR THE EPISODES. Last year when I found the podcast I binged every one (minus all but a couple of the Missing Persons cases.) Last year I consistently rated the podcast as 5 stars & I would love to have done that but because of the changes I simply can’t do that.

ChoppermbIt’s been greatHave really enjoyed this Podcast. The stories are compelling & well done. I had always listened to it each week when a new episode was released. Unfortunately you now have to subscribe & pay, so I will now be deleting it. Very disappointed!

ScareCrowA7XPretty goodFound this True Crime podcast amid the plethora of TC podcasts but I noticed that most of the episodes you have to pay for to listen to. But not this guy, I listened to the free ones and I will check back every now and again for new free episodes. I refuse to pay for podcasts except for Weird Darkness or I will listen on Amazon Music Unlimited but ONLY if it is add free, if not then it is not for me. I refuse to pay especially because it does not cost much to do a podcast. The majority of the PC hosts are just out for quick bucks and since I do research for some podcasts out there I do so on the basis that instead of being paid money (for now) I am granted free access to the podcasts that I do do research for. If I truly like a podcast then I will support them by buying something from the store of said podcast/s.

ElizaSandersRespectfulEdit- The content is really good and I love the fact that they are taking a trauma informed approach to doing true crime. they go out of their way to bring attention to cases of people who are from marginalized communities and they appear to put a lot of effort into researching the cases. I truly appreciate this podcast.

adele57BrilliantOne of the best podcasts I have ever listened too they really do a great complimentary job together recommend 100%

portokalopitaSweetLove the music, narration, storytelling- it’s all good!
-
Teon77Love this podcast, one suggestionWell presented, well organized great material. May I encourage you both to be more natural rather then reading to us? The robotic reading sometimes makes it difficult to listen.
-
Betty BorderToo scriptedI don’t like podcasters who just read scripts. It’s not natural or conversational.
-
KateJessieAbsolutely wonderfulI sincerely hope new episodes will be downloading soon. Everything about this podcast is highest quality.
-
Seb 2.oRoboticI don’t really understand the overly robotic and emotionless voice work…
-
rosalleaExcellentSimply excellent in many ways; informative, intelligent, great voices, well researched, caring, detailed and down to earth. Standing ovation and applause!!!!!
-
DeedebopNoIf you like long, boring, unsegmented, run-on statements made by family members (aka their whole life stories) this is the podcast for you! Takes interesting cases and makes them bedtime stories 🥱

44KarenRyan Shtuka episode…Love this podcast. Kind and caring hosts. I really appreciated the latest episode about Ryan. I had heard it before but listening to Ryan’s life story from his mother…well, I feel like I know him now. I have a 17 year old. My son sounds exactly like Ryan in their behavior and personalities. Every word she spoke, I put my son into that story. It feels surreal and I’m not sure how she is doing it. She’s sounds amazing. 💙🙏🏼💙 Keep up the great work guys on this podcast. And keep sharing these stories that do to raise all this awareness. (Thank you to the mother for what she said at the last part.. keeping aware in my own community and spreading the word about missing people whose families may need extra help.)💙

tennisroxxx12Compassionate, Compelling and Features Un-Explored CasesI have listened to every variety of true crime podcast available (besides the cult series ones, those do nothing for me), and I am blown away by TNTC. On a production level the show is fantastic, their sources are stated, they are always transparent, have great chemistry and podcast voices, etc. In terms of coverage, they feature stories that I’ve never heard of, since I am from southern US, but find continuously fascinating and care about. Hosts are incredibly compassionate, respectful, stick to facts, but never get boring or repetitive, and clearly care about this endeavor. The episodes aren’t losing value in effort or content as I continue to listen, as is common in the true come pod world. Truly one of the best true podcasts I’ve ever heard. They make it seem easy and I’m questioning why so many other podcasts can’t get it together like these two can.

Ellen0779TNTC PodThis is an amazing podcast!! I love the hosts, and they are so knowledgeable and really deep dive into these crimes! Keep up the great work, Kudos to you both for advocating for justice for these victims.

borghi888Addicted!You guys do an fantastic job covering all the important facts and specific details of the crime, along with the victim and their families. There’s a lot that goes into making a podcast, let alone an excellent one. Thank you for all of your effort and for creating TNTC.
-
Ashes5505Spot onWas surprised there weren’t more reviews for this podcast! New listener, and really enjoy/appreciate the way you guys share each of the stories (no unrelated side commentary, jokes/banter, etc, which is sadly almost unheard of these days). Compelling/heartbreaking stories which are being told in ways that are still incredibly respectful to those people still affected by them. Keep up the great work, guys!
-
paulh813True North True CrimeAn excellent pod cast about missing and vulnerable individuals involved in foul play or sudden disappearance. The hosts provide non judge mental details while sensitive to the ones left behind.
-
ZeldaMonsterGreat podcastVery well put together, with great synopsis of these fascinating cases. Would love to hear if there are ever any updates to the cases that are discussed. Keep up the good work!
-
MangoIslaLove this show! Please do more episodes. This podcast is amazing. I love true crime and this podcast brings the best. The descriptions of the scenes and settings are vivid and I can imagine being at these locations. I am a fan of the Pacific Northwest / Canada and this podcast mixes that fandom with true crime and gives it all the perfect background. Please continue to make more episodes. Including MMIWG! Thank You all.

Patti, Powell, OhioPerfectI just found this podcast and have listened to several episodes. It’s well executed and the delivery is great. In reading some of the other reviews all I can think is some people really feel the need to complain about something, no matter how odd. Keep up the good work!
-
uberistrashSo annoyingI really hate when podcasters say they don’t want to give details of the crime and want to protect the family, but either way, you’re exploiting the victim and the family by even publishing their story for your own benefit 🤦🏻♀️ just give the whole story and keep the excuses.
-
BschoraRelies too much on poor quality interview recordings.Example, episode 32. It’s painful to have to listen to this narrative being told by the son of the victim. This interview format does not work if the guest has no speaking skill. Choppy cadence, rambling narrative, and on and on… oy. Really, I just had to stop listening. Maybe this “raw, emotional” format just isn’t for me. And again, episode 33, the poor quality recordings with Justin's mother…. Do people really like to listen to this level of grief? Whining monotone narrative punctuated with loud sniffles? It’s just way over the top. It’s rough losing someone, but to then ask them to interview in that state of grief for public consumption?

Gramma atLove! This is a well done Podcast. I have enjoyed listening. Keep up the excellent work!

magnoliamomaLove this podcastI look forward to this podcast the most out of all of my subscribed shows. My only complaint is there aren’t enough!!!! I feel like the wait for the next podcast takes months!!! You are great creators!! Thank you for the awesome content!!

edit-InsertSets the standardThis was my first True Crime podcast. When I listened to them all I looked for another title. Their style cannot be recreated. Their compassion for victims is palpable. Their descriptions of the cities are incredibly helpful in painting a picture. I appreciate them both and I look forward to new episodes as often as they are released. They don’t use filler words to an exhausting extent like some other podcasters. (Like,um, so). When comparing to others I feel like these folks are in it to help. Others just want money and sound like they’re telling a campfire story or sounds like gossip. I also appreciate their acknowledgement of indigenous people in the communities affected. It is a fantastic journey each episode and I learn a lot. Maybe one day I will hear one that I can help with. Always looking forward to the next. Blessings from Wisconsin

thenotablelizGreat show and great hostsSuch a great show that is very respectful of the victims and their families. As I’m from the US, these are mostly cases I’ve never heard. Soothing voices. There’s no “fluff” talk which is fantastic bc I don’t find it relevant when discussing victims of murders, kidnappings, assaults, etc. What a host did last weekend isn’t why I’m listening to a podcast. I, personally, find the Indigenous and Native lands acknowledgement at the beginning of each show to be a wonderful sign of respect. I wish US podcasts that are produced on similar lands would do the same.
-
lry222⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The two hosts truly care about finding justice for the victims in their episodes- this is not about murder/missing persons for the sake of entertainment, rather getting the word out to get justice for victims and their families. Very well done podcast. I really enjoy the two hosts- they are empathetic, smart and don’t take the subject matter lightly.
-

Mama2CharlotteEditingI really enjoy this podcast! But, the newest episode has a lot of mistakes that weren’t edited out, including re-reads and long pauses. Please make sure to listen and edit before posting!
-
mzc_0831Amazing!Can’t believe I am just finding this podcast but so glad I did! Love the vibe between the hosts & the fact that they’re not silly, as that gets annoying. Well researched. Currently binging all episodes!
