Absolutely love this show — part of my weekly routine to listen and I always look forward to every episode! Paul is an amazing host — his interview style allows his guests to settle right on in and share such epic stories! Paul is an amazing host. He not only runs a great interview with free flowing insightful questions, but he is also vulnerable in sharing his own story. It’s refreshing to hear a genuine conversation between two individuals versus a scripted show that lacks authenticity. Great job Paul!

I found this Podcast just a few days ago. Today I have been binge listening to all the GGR podcasts. Paul ask very good questions and has such a great attitude on everything that it makes it very enjoyable to listen. Please keep them coming.

I love your podcasts! Great guests and incites, but the audio quality needs help! If nothing else, boost the output a little bit! The audio levels are consistently too low. You work so hard on these, let them be heard. Levels should be at -18db for your podcast. If you don’t have software to deal with it (you probably do), send it to me and I will do it for you!! Quoted from Transom.Org: “Radio and podcasts need two different loudness targets: -24 LUFS for radio and approximately -18 LUFS for podcasts. It’s best to do all of your production at the lower “radio” level, even if your final product is to be at the higher “podcast” level.”

Paul has great subject matter and great guests. They are informative and educational for this recreational sailor . I especially enjoy hearing about his sailing adventures. I look forward to each episode.

Been binging this podcast for a couple of weeks now. Can’t say enough good things about it. He’s a single-handed cruiser interviewing other sailors and racers around the world as well as his neighborhood cruising ground. I love that he has a standard set of questions he asks just about everyone so you get all kinds of perspectives on things like foul weather gear, storm tactics, provisioning, navigation equipment and much more. Great work, Paul. Keep it up.

I stumbled on this podcast looking for more sailing podcast. I highly recommend it! I am deathly scared of sharks and the interview about sharks was very educational on how it the freak out! Great job, thank you and looking forward to more episodes.
