Excellent, not only speaks about food but, the persons experiences, their life, their journey. Very insightful.

It’s clear her background on social work makes her an outstanding and natural interviewer. Hearing an already amazing person teach me names in food world is why I keep coming back for more episodes.

I have really enjoyed each interview Elle has hosted and produced since the launch of The Walk-In podcast. The stories are a glimpse into many talented food culinarians and food historians in the industry. My favorite podcast to date is with Dr. Jessica B. Harris because she has such a wealth of information about food stories about some of the most important figures in African American culture. I can’t wait to listen to more episodes!

I’m not a chef or a “foodie”, but I loved this conversation and the guests encouragement to treat st your “authentic “ self, accent and all was so nice. I really enjoyed this!

In the wake of so many revelations about food media, it is so nice to hear a food podcast that comes from the perspective of Elle and her guests. The food content is top notch, and the social commentary is also top notch. This is a godsend in 2021.

One of my favorite podcasts of 2020! Really: Spotify told me it was. I loved learning more about the guests I was familiar with and getting know to know important culinary game-changers that hadn’t been on my radar yet. Elle shines as a host. I’m already looking forward to season 2!

The line up of guests is inspiring and varied for a change. I've had many lightbulbs go off while listening. I like the different sections (FIFO etc) and think that structure is fun. Elle is a fabulous host and isn't afraid to be real and get real with her guests. I sometimes feel jaded by this industry, having been a part for decades wearing many different hats, but this podcast is restoring my faith and committment. Thank you! Keep it coming.

I’ve been an ATK fan for many years. It’s been so wonderful to finally see diversity among the TV talent and this is a fantastic next step. I listened to the first 3 episodes and that was all I could stomach. As a person in the food industry the last 25 years I thought this podcast would be about anecdotal stories and what it’s like to live (and love) the grind of working in restaurants. This podcast is far from that. Not every setback or obstacle in restaurants are due to the color of ones skin, sexual preference or anything else... it’s a tough world for EVERYONE.

This is a wonderfully relaxed conversation between experienced individuals and I love how the guests interact so warmly with the host, Elle. The balance of food industry ins and outs, social issues, race issues, inclusion, experience, is dope ! Organic and intentional. Not too lengthy either , and I love it from beginning to the end credits featuring Elle’s mom.

I am half way through the one featured on Proof. Where we are in October 2020, I need something that is appropriately weighty and does not ignore this moment in time. I can tell this will be one of my favorites.

The Walk-In IS music. It is soothing, it is lyrical, it is insightful, it has a goove. Elle stands alongside artists past and present choosing how to use her voice to share her human experience. I love everything about this podcast. The host is real. The guests are real. The subject matter is real. It’s the most relevant podcast I’ve heard all year. I wish I was better with words so I could more accurately describe how important this podcast could be for every American.

Truth telling from a powerful and warm host, who makes space for her guest to be real. This looks like another place to open up the conversation about what happens to people of color at work, to women at work, and lord knows to women of color at work. Beyond that, I feel there's gonna be inspiration and knowhow to be had to help aspiring chefs and professionals of every stripe to make their way in this world. Brava, Elle! I’ve been a subscriber to ATK for a number of years. Over the last few, there has been a visible effort to make the on-air hosts, shows, recipes and topics more diverse and inclusive. This is a welcome and needed addition. Congratulations to Elle! I’m sure her addition to the ATK family was an important contribution to the organizations growth and progress.

She calls herself the Culinary Oprah and that’s what it felt like listening to the first episode. Elle can deeply connect with her guests and is never afraid to ask the questions we all want to know. She explores the depths of people’s story with grace, dignity, and truth. I’m looking forward to listening and learning the life experiences of the unsung heroes in the Walk-in!
