I honestly used to like this show much more. 1) They drift too far to the AMG fanboy apologist side of the spectrum making their objectivity suspect, especially during interviews w/ AMG developers. 2) Their shows have dwindled to once every month or 2, making much of what they discuss old news. And 3) during a recent podcast on the new Asgard box set, both hosts made off-hand political comments which I absolutely despise in an entertainment podcast. No thanks. There are too many other good MCP pods to waste time with this one. Try Gamer's Guild and/or Danger Room, instead.

Until about a year ago, I used to listen Fly Better podcast- another podcast with Ryan Farmer about X-wing miniatures- but I ended up selling my meager collection. Right before the pandemic I had started to get into MCP and several months ago I stumbled upon this podcast and heard a voice I hadn’t heard in quite some time- Ryan Farmer! I had always tended more towards Farmer’s way of playing X-wing vs His co-host Dee’s approach (feeling vs maths respectively). it’s nice to hear he has found a favorite faction quickly in Web Warriors and is willing to try what other’s may consider “jank” because he loves playing them that much. I immediately enjoyed the first episode I listened too, and I am still enjoying every episode and so will you!

This show and Fury’s Finest are the best MCP shows hands down, both shows care about production quality, listeners, and a clean format, which is rare for tabletop gaming podcast. Some of the other hosts on this show don’t have the audio quality that Ryan the host does, but they have great things to say. Looking forward to Strike Better continuing to improve in their audio quality to be the best they can be.
