    Leadership
I’m a huge basketball fan, but I will never coach the game. The show deepens my appreciation for basketball while also giving me ideas applicable to my own coaching — of students and researchers.

    Informative and Detailed
While the talk sometimes goes over my head because I have never played the game at a high level, I like the detail and thought provoking questions. The more I listen to Dennis Gates, the more I respect him. He was the draw but I’ll be listening to more segments.

Breaking down the game on a new level
I have been a youth and high school basketball coach for many years and I have recently required some of my more high IQ players to listen to parts of the podcast. If you can get your players to have a remote understanding of what is spoken about during these episodes you will see less mistakes and intuitive play.
