Hockey #168

We talk about the Nashville Predators. There is no better show in Smashville. In fact, one might even go so far as to call it The Gold Standard of Preds podcasts.

Listen Only if You Have To
In a market starved for decent Predators coverage, this podcast is a huge disappointment. Putting Adam behind the paywall leaves fans nothing. Listen if you want to hear the moderator praise blue sky & cry about how mean X is. The guy is the epitome of woke 40-something media.

    Love the show, but
For the love of god enough with the blue sky talk. It’s a dead website that’s staying dead. Know your audience, Twitter is king.

A realist podcast about the Preds
Only critique I have is I’ve heard enough about Jaspers. Love you guys tho

    Fantastic
Thanks so much to Braden and Adam for giving us such honest and objective coverage of Nashville’s Hockey team. This podcast is my guilty pleasure and while I’m (very) sorry to see Adam go I’m looking forward to seeing what this podcast looks like next year. (Govertime??). Best of Luck Adam! I cancelled my Athletic subscription in solidarity!

    No homer takes
It’s nice to have something to listen to regarding the Preds without the insane homer takes we get from local radio who also broadcast the games. They fail to be critical because of the business relationship between the two. Vingan used to annoy me but he has really matured in his coverage over the last few years and I miss Braden Gall on the radio in the mornings. Nice work guys.

Better quality than Nashville's afternoon radio!!
The content cannot be beat. The conversation cannot be beat. The personality cannot be beat. Braden hosts such a great show and Adam is a perfect compliment to him. An absolute must-listen for Preds fans.

    Tell it like it is
Every podcast I found that was Preds related always pushed the idea that “everything is great and our team is always awesome!” and that, as a dedicated fan, is exhausting… Having an educated commentary that tells you what’s really happening and what you should actually expect out of the team is a breath of fresh air. Not only does it paint a clearer picture; it validates frustrations and makes the moments of actual positivity rewarding. Would recommend this for any Predators fan that is looking for a genuine, unbiased insight into this team.

    Fun, informative Preds podcast
Co-hosts Braden Gall and Adam Vingan bring listeners a structured weekly discussion on all things Nashville Predators in a still-conversational and fluid format that never disappoints. Moreover, the duo is almost always willing to engage on social media, bringing an interactive aspect to the experience, which is rare in the podcast world. Subscribe if you want to learn more about the Nashville Predators—especially if think you already know it all.

    Long live the “voice.”
Whatever Vingan does, he should never lose the “voice.”

    Binge
This podcast is good enough that you could listen to the oldest episode and continue all the way to the newest in one sitting. While I do find the “voice” annoying, the commentary and debate make it well worth a listen.

    Hot Takes for True Fans
I listen to two Predators podcasts: one from the team Kool-aid bowl, and this one. Braden and Adam keep it real; they’ve got the hot takes that whack me right in the pee pee. Team needs to be blown up and rebuilt? They’re not holding back. Kudos, and keep the real talk coming like that Bobby Bonilla money!

Best Preds podcast, must listen for fans
As much as one can be considered a rational sports fan, I consider myself to be level headed. I do not like biased analysis of my favorite teams and I appreciate the honest approach by Braden and Adam. Don’t expect a sugar coated analysis: there’s an official team podcast for that. Give this one a try!

    Great Preds podcast
I lived in Nashville for several years listening with Gall and reading Vingan before he moved to the Athletic, finding this podcast living far from Nashville today was refreshing and enjoyable.

    Must listen for Preds fans
Here’s how good this show is. They haven’t done one in season and it’s still can’t miss. It’s entertaining and informative and a must listen for Preds fans both hardcore and casual.

    Hard to Beat
The level of knowledge here in unparalleled in Preds media. Adam is without a doubt the best on the beat that this city has ever seen and his writing on The Athletic is worth the price alone. Braden brings the grounded Nashville perspective that reverberates throughout the fan base. Excited to see this grow and develop.

Great Content from 2 good minds on the Preds
It’s refreshing to actually debate topics of interest without the hot-takery seen all over sports media today.
