The Seder-Skier Podcast

The original, unique, engaging cross country ski podcast. We ask tough questions to elite athletes, investigate scientific research, and occasionally venture off to talk about the broader intersection of sports and culture as well.

Not only the best podcast within shovel lake county, but the best period anywhere. Great interviews and insights!

    Okay Interviews_Not Okay Opinionating
Appreciate having another nordic ski podcast—particularly at the NCAA and RMISA level. Ryan is obviously an informed guy with good questions. It’s unfortunate, therefore, that someone whose livelihood and interests depend upon reliable snow cover and genuine winter conditions infers on his podcast that global climate change isn’t real or effecting climate, snowfall, and temperatures in a way that endangers the sport. I suggest that Ryan invite Jessie Diggins and Gus Schumaker onto his pod to talk about their work with Save Our Winters and how their recent experiences in Trondheim exemplify how global climate change is already impacting our sport.

    Love the show!
The intros and outros are too long, but all the stuff in the middle is great. Like the opinions and takes. Glad I don’t have to scour the web for the info that’s provided. Keep it up, from another guy from Minnesota.

Has potential but less ranting please
The podcast at times shines with great content such as the interview with Zach Caldwell, which was terrific in covering ski design and selection. But more recently Ryan tends to be repetitive in expressing his opinion on a topic and takes forever to move on. Each podcast also starts with too long of the same intro that I regularly fast forward through.
