Amusing podcast for intermediate / advanced
I’m at 600 hours of Spanish input and I still struggle at times understanding this podcast but nonetheless Diego and Efrin (sp?) are really funny and bring a hilarious dynamic that’s missing in most other learner podcasts. Highly recommended!

    Fantastico!
Diego & Efra have cultivated a perfect mixture of silliness and seriousness, combined with thoughtful discussion and sophomoric humor, to create a warm and engaging podcast that pulls in listeners of all levels. Their friendship / chemistry is magnetic, to which the growing community of supporters attests.

Listening to them continuously is easy because it’s enjoyable
I started listening to podcasts to train my ear for Spanish, but I never thought I’d consider paying for a pattern membership. I’ve listened to Español con Juan, some No hay Tos, Aprende México, etc. while they’re all good sources, this podcast makes me laugh even when I don’t catch everything they say. I love Efran’s energy (I don’t think I spelt his name correctly, but yeah). The way he talks and laughs makes this enjoyable. I’m already learning some new stuff, and I bet their patreon is worth it; I saw what they offer, and it definitely looks worth it if you’re the type to apply yourself to learning

    Worth Listening to
The Mextalki podcasts are ideal for somebody who has already studied Spanish in the classroom and wants to develop a better ear for the language as spoken in natural, unscripted conversation. Diego and Efrain speak clearly and not so rapidly that I cannot distinguish one word from the next. With repeated listening, I catch more and more of what they are saying. The two guys have different personalities and play off each other in good humor. Sometimes the dialogue is pretty funny. Points of grammar and the multiple meanings of particular words are explained well.

Neta escucho a muchos podcasts pero cuando sale un nuevo episodio de cheleando con Mextalki me emociona porque estos dos güeyes son muy especiales. Da mucha risa el show y de hecho me ha enseñado mucho del idioma español. ¡Cinco estrellas definitivamente!

    Me encanta!
La neta.. este podcast es tan chido (fíjate, ya aprendi más frases mexicanas ;)! ) Diego y Efraín son súper graciosos y divertidos, y me gusta mucho escucharlos. Sus episodios son interesantes y sobre todo, muy útiles para estudiantes de español medio avanzados. Mil gracias, chicos!

Exactly what needed! This is awesome.
If you sometimes get frustrated that the duolingo spanish podcast breaks in with English, then this podcast is for you! This is tailored to Spanish language learners, and IMHO is way better for intermediate spanish speakers than listening to a regular podcast in Spanish. These guys break in to explain phrases and words that would otherwise be misunderstood or unintelligible by looking up the meaning in the dictionary. They are also hilarious, and the topics are a great way to guide the conversation. This is also so much better than listening to audio books or watching shows in spanish. Listening to a conversation is in many ways easier to follow than a book (less embellished or fancy) and it contains so many more opportunities to hear how people speak and communicate than a tv show (there’s no plot or long periods without dialogue that get in the way). This is a great idea and an awesome way to improve comprehension and start thinking in spanish. I love it. Diego, Efrain, mil gracias. You guys rock.
