Cowboy Stories

Welcome to the COWBOY STORIES podcast. Throughout my childhood, I always enjoyed listening to different cowboys tell their stories. Now, because of this podcast, I’ll have the opportunity to interview some of those cowboys and share their stories with you. My purpose in doing this is part education, part entertainment but it’s mostly to help preserve this way of life. We’re excited to have you on this journey with us!

    Laughing over McLaughlin
He totally leaves out so much of his life, like his short stints in the military 3X and having been married in March of 1977 until January of 1982 and having 3 children! They don’t know him because he just up and forgot them! You should interview me about the ranches we went to while married! Mugginsville, CA and two in ND!

    Excellent Cowboy Stories
I love this podcast! It is so informative, educational and entertaining. I learn new things with every episode. Lindsay picked top shelf Cowboys and their families to interview for the Cowboy Stories podcast. It’s great to put on and just soak in these stories. A big thanks to Cowboy Stories and all the Cowboys and their families for sharing.

    Love this podcast!
Great stories. Thanks so much for sharing these stories with us! I’d love to have you interview my dad. Darrell Alvey was born and raised in Escalante. He’s trained race horses his whole life and at 82 he’s still training. He has lots of stories about the early days in Escalante.

    Great info
I love listening because I know so many of these cowboys personally. This is a great listen. I hope you have more coming. My husband and I listen to these like great bedtime stories. My boys wrangled for Pete Mangum from tropic. They learned how to work hard and be responsible. The cowboy way of life is the Cox boys way of life. We love that you are preserving these precious memories.

    Great Stories!
I’m a 7th generation Florida rancher that deals with Alligators, Pythons and Panthers in swamp country. Your podcast is very entertaining and the content is amazing! I can picture these cowmen in the canyons & desert country working cattle. I’m hooked on your podcast! It’s very well done and you have done interesting content. Keep up the good work!! New favorite podcast
I’m only one interview in but after hearing Pratt’s tales I’m hooked. Thank you for making a good podcast that is entertaining that doesn’t involve politics or murder. Refreshing.

    Awesome
Amazing way to record these priceless stories from men and women who have invested so much into their ranches and families and this state!!! As a fifth generation rancher myself, it’s a wonderful thing to learn the stories of other families who have scratched a living out of the grass and water. I tip my hat to yay for putting this together. Thanks so much.

    So cool
It’s neat to listen to a podcast that is strictly cowboy. Cowboy history and cowboy experiences coming straight from the cowboys mouth. 5 stars.
