JessLynnVillMy favorite podcastBy far my favorite one, and I’ve listened to many. I’m obsessed with MIA. Both Courtney an Colin have a way of telling these stories in a catchy way and make you want to keep listening. They also sound so natural.

Macy_LongThe absolute best podcast ever!!I found this podcast about two years ago and have yet to find one any better. Y’all do such a great job researching and putting the information together. I wish you two the best!
-
BlueswskyExcellent true crime podcast! This is top-notch! Thank you for so thoroughly, and professionally researching these cases & for telling the victims’ stories!

beccalc15Too many kid murdersThis show could be great! The dou are great podcasters. 3 stars for production etc. Could be 5 stars but, they’ve gotten on a kick for a few seasons now of none stop kid murders and child abduction/rape (tons of awful details on child murders/rapes). I had them in my rotation but I give up! It’s gotten to be insensitive and just salacious. I’m unfollowing because I just kept having to skip their episodes or mark as played to get them out of my line up (ok another sick child murder). I know a lot of true crime is shock value and this podcast pulls no punches. They let you know that too but the kid stuff is too much! It’s so detailed and horrifying, you can’t listen to it. I wonder about those who do listen to these kid murders (which this sort of morbid detail) disgusting stuff. It’s dangerous honestly and could be attractive listening to some real sick people! Anyway, I wish they’d stop with the low hanging fruit because let’s be honest it’s disrespectful to have these awful details broadcasted about dead children. It’s as bad as watching SVU over and over - grotesque and weird! Bummer too cuz the show would be great otherwise. PS I work as a victims advocate- it’s not safe to give these sort of details on minors deaths.

Loor91👍🏻Found through TikTok and absolutely love all the podcasts

Mental unrestSounds like a book reportVery knowledgeable and great information but the presentation is terrible. It would be so much more interesting to listen to you guys sit around as if you were chatting with each other about a case. The way you do it sounds like each of you prepared and made a book report for school and are doing nothing but reading it out loud in front of the classroom. generation why, True Crime Garage, Stuff You Should Know etc. These are what you should model after. Not doing a book report out loud. Also, the female in this podcast is unlistenable. It’s almost like she’s whispering and the way she says her S’s are so sharp it is like fingernails on a chalkboard

Lincoln 03SchoolDid yall here about the school shooting that happened in Georgia?

TrueCrimeListener19YESSSSSSSI love this podcast so much! Everything about it!! The sound effects, GREAT! Colin & Courtney’s voices, EVEN BETTER. Content that is able to be diverse in delivery & how they present some episodes, PHENOMENAL! Favorite podcast ever!!

Adam0784Too grim for Audio ChuckIf you know your true crime podcasts then you’ve heard of the good folks at Audio Chuck. I love what they do but this isn’t about them. Murder in America is exactly what I look for in true crime content; highly detailed, long episodes, many time with multiple episodes to tell a story. It also truly pinpoints just how awful we are as a nation to each other. 😅

ladyerieneCan’t find another podcast to delve intoI love love love you two, your content is amazing, I’ve listened to so many episodes in just a week or two already, my ear buds are in constantly, I’m trying to find other podcasts like you two and I feel this is honestly the only one like this, the audio from the case itself really makes me feel immersed into it. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve cried listening to audio, victim impact statements, interrogation videos etc. and the way you guys will act out parts of the case really just makes you the best out there. I so wish I could become a Patreon member to get those extra episodes because I crave for more and more all the time

Kristina P 78Love you guysYou guys are doing a great job. I prefer the regular episodes versus this last one about the hit men. But either way… you guys are awesome. Don’t apologize for all the complaints though. I promise you the 99% don’t notice… until you apologize that is. ☺️ great job! I’ve enjoyed every episode.

Lydy777I am enjoying this podcastI like the simultaneous narration of the two hosts, who, by the way, are very pleasant. Even when they are detailing horrific crimes, they come across well researched and compassionate. They are thorough and straight to the point! No jibber jabber between the hosts. I really like that! Solid podcast for true crime. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dkelley822Love the show! You guys are the best

Lunar12$THE BEST PODCAST I EVER LISTENED TOOI’m am new to listening to podcasts and I love true crime so I started listening to this podcast and I LOVE IT, I love how they go in to GREAT detail and I show my friends and now we all listen to they ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amberly1111Hard to listen toI do understand there is a warning in the beginning but the clip of the mother finding out her daughters body was found was sickening to hear, felt kind of insensitive. I have listened to some pretty bad crimes so I'm not a newbie but this most recent episode I had to skip that part because it gave me a physical reaction. I do love this podcast aside from that and the stories are really good, the most recent Ladybird Lake episode especially. I get there's a fine line between what is considered respectful when reporting crimes, but that sound of pure grief is something I feel should be kept private. Also I'm not a fan of the ghost story stuff but I guess that's a preference.
-
Merebear.84This podcast ruined all other true crime podcastsI started out listening to this podcast and now I don’t really like any others. No extra talking- just the story- well researched and thorough and Courtney and Colin’s voices are 100/10. Would give it 20 stars if u could 🤍

CRAZY @ppL€ GURL 🍎🍏I LOVE ITI got so many chills up my spine when I was listening this podcast on the killing fields episode it did relieve me that the killer was caught. Not mention there is some weird feeling when listening to the podcast… But I do like their voice and sound effects it’s so eerie and creepy. And their voice sounds are so calm that it’s so cool but I know it can be hard reading and writing this podcast episodes

BkdebrnBROOKLYN IS WITH YOU!!This podcast is one of a kind. Your obvious commitment to truth seeking is evident. The determination of this amazing storytelling duo is inspiring. We ALL must do our part to ensure the TRUTH is uncovered to bring the culprits to justice and allow the victims to rest in peace. The family and friends left behind will need ongoing support and compassion to deal with their grief and heart breaking loss. Keep digging deep for the little known tragedies of our fellow citizens who deserve to have their TRUTHS known. I will be here to encourage, support and of course to listen 💝😉. Love BKDeb 😇.

Bethany5590🤍First and foremost, I love love love the information you guys share. Yall really do go in depth! A lot of these cases I’ve heard on other podcasts but you guys bring new info I’ve not heard into each one. However, the sometime poor editing and mistakes sometimes overshadow that. Nobody’s perfect, but sometimes it causes major confusion. Still love the information!

m3owwgood butcourtney please. take a sip of water before you speak your mouth sounds hella dry don’t get me wrong your voice is lovely but the popping sounds when you speak from dryness irks me SO bad
-
msad3Minus two StarsI cannot get over how bad one of the hosts is at keeping facts straight… Good Lord, it’s egregious 2 stars for stupid mistakes. Most recent “Ladybird Lake episode part 2”
-
Whitetiger1107428963GoodI enjoy the podcast and the stories but the girl talks so slow it drives me crazy. I don’t mind monotone voice but ooof I feel like I need to put this one 1.5 speed when she talks. Definitely prefer the male host

Aurora23674Used to be really good!I found this podcast whilst driving to Texas for a vacation. It is about a 2 day drive from where I live, therefore I wanted something to listen to. I came onto the podcasts app and this one was under recommended for you. I started listening and was extremely impressed and fascinated by these cases. The way the hosts spoke gave chills down my spine. This was a long time ago. Now, I come back to listen and it is not the same. The voices are still eerie and dark, but the actual case isn’t. The stories of murders that I used to listen to on here, is what made this murder podcast so different from the others! Now these new ones are the same as some other podcasts. I’m really sad about this.

ChurchconnSorryIm sorry about your loss Collin I now what it feels like to loose someone and I believe that eventually the and will get their #### together

SaramppppUsed to be betterI used to be an avid listener and could hardly wait to get on and listen every Friday. The episodes were SO interesting and rare with cases that I had not even heard about (and I’m a huge true crime person). My friends and I all listened and used to communicate about the episodes, but it’s just not the case in recent episodes. Lately the cases are just eh and the excitement of listening have declined! I wish that you’d go back to picking more rare cases instead of cases that are covered on every other podcast. People have such great suggestions of cases on your instagram that sound like cases that would make great episodes, and it would be really cool if you’d sometimes take that into account too!

Keriiigan“Play our show”This was my first podcast i ever listened and im obsessed. The hosts voices are so calming I literally play it to go to bed. They are very informative and respectful on victims. I love how educated and full send the are with knowing the stories. My gf thought i was weird to play it at night in bed and now she goes “you gonna play our show??” lol. Love them, trying to find another pod to compare even just a little bc i listened to all the eps and their new podcast they made. Wish i wouldn’t have so i could keep listening hahah.

mike10000000000000Fact check betterI found some errors in Lincoln episode. They need to check better
-
NickiNickletNeed better editingYour content is awesome! But after more than 150 episodes, ya’ll need to please step up your editing game. Nearly every single episode has a major error and it impacts the quality of the listening experience for your audience. Editing isn’t easy. But please take the time and care to do it well. The pod would be SO much better. Thanks!
-
Jennie426My fav!By FAR my favorite podcast, thank you for all the raw information. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication in telling these amazing stories. THANK YOU.
-
TaralaineeCourtney fan💜I really think these hosts do a great job delving into these stories. I love Courtney’s voice. It is soothing, and she has a knack for knowing how to spin a tale. I haven’t heard her voice for a minute but she is the best part.
-
Spaulding67Its okay. The sound effects can be distracting and at times seem random, and out of place. Many don’t really match the situation they’re supposed to represent. The female host often repeats herself when she wants to say a particular line in a different way, but they don’t go back and edit out the first one. They sound somewhat professional, albeit monotone in their delivery, but the production is rather unprofessional.
-
Rico_:)<3I just wanna say I can’t get enough of these podcast
-
JkkkkkkkifeexcubkoEditingLove everything about the show. My husband and I listen when we go on road trips but recently the editing has been a little rough.
-
Twix3624My favorite of all timeThis is literally the best true crime podcast I’ve came across. They get right into business with all the details possible and don’t get sidetracked or joke around like other podcasts I’ve tried listening to. I love how serious they take every case and how informative they are with everything. I don’t think I’ve ever had any lingering questions after listening to their podcasts because they do their job so well. Please never stop :)
-
Lilith HavenCould have done a part 3Just finished listening to the second episode of the Benoit deaths. I’ve got to say that while it may be true that he did kill his family there are many people that think they were all killed by Nancy’s ex husband and have shown proof to support that theory. It would have been nice if to hear them talk about it instead of saying he killed his family and that’s that. There are always multiple sides to every story.
-
Rosemary H.Solid podcastWell-researched and well-paced. But it drives me nuts that the hosts frequently mispronounce words!
-
JocelynOfeliaHands down the best!Wow. I was sobbing during the elementary school shooting episodes. Thank you both for being super informative and making lengthy episodes. You are both so respectful to the victims and how the episodes really come together. Keep up the good work. 🙌🏻
-
diannam123Too many inconsistencies.Trying to take on a whole bunch of different categories is stupid. How about sticking with the original theme of the podcast which is Murder In America, vs conspiracies, and murders in different countries? Clearly running out of ideas here.
-
NOY15Ep.158 Basic concepts wrong.Adopting and buying is not the same. If you can’t get basic concepts right there is no hope for this podcast. Plus in true crime you have to be very careful to respect the families and you are definitely not being respectful. Just exploiting.
-
dmcefEp 160Thank you for this excellent podcast. Blessing to you for have the courage to name names even if a lot are already dead.
-
P.TwoBearsREVICTIMIZATION but The wife’s part is always good… but I genuinely hope that no families of victims ever, EVER hear this podcast, b/c it's beyond cringe & gross for the husband to be force-fitting …."ooooooh, and I wonder if her ghost is still here now haunting this place…" 🤮 I mean, could any person really be so lacking in empathy and common sense—that it would not occur to them how hurtful, depressing and sad this would be, if it was YOUR lost loved one? I think you’ve got a *serious ethics problem* in this podcast concerning how you FORCE-JAM the supernatural in at the end. It just reeks of sensationalism and revictimization. It IS revictimization.
-
em.708Actually teaches while entertainingthe details and care used in telling victims and even suspects backgrounds is amazing. Its the reminder that these are all real people with real trauma . the attention to detail helps explain why people do what they do but it's told very clearly to point out none of it is an excuse for what they did. thank you for actually educating while entertaining
-
Beckett2015Good but…I have always enjoyed listening but hearing more interviews lately seems like filler. Yes it’s easy to throw those in to take up time, but I listen to hear Colin and Courtney. Especially after this last podcast about the airman murdered in Guam. Listening to his mother was insufferable. She seemed to love all of the attention she got: from friends, family, the military. She seemed almost giddy. I had to stop listening and go over to the Conspiracy Files page. Which I throughly enjoyed
-
MM MasonThe best murder podcast!I listen to a lot of murder podcasts and I’m very particular about the hosts. These are the only hosts that are not extremely annoying. They get to the point and they deliver a great story without again being super super annoying. Thank you! You both rock!
