Listening to s1e1. Love the format and of course OUAT. I hope you love the show too and cease going down the bitter route in future epi’s - harshly critiquing and pointing out every flaw in the show. I like the Easter eggs, lost references. One party seems to point them out. The other party kind of brings down the delight of the show, for what? The other party then follows that lead. It’s make believe. Take it for what the show is. Let us enjoy the magic of this show without the constant put downs & negativity. I for one would love to enjoy this rewatch with but if all we hear is “that’s cringe” “that wouldn’t happen”. Yes, we know! That’s why we watch. I hope the one improves.

To say I love this show would be a drastic understatement. It’s hard to find a podcast that loves its topic so much that it is willing to see the flaws, point them out, and make fun of them while still being positive. Ila and Mackee are fantastic hosts with huge hearts and have created a fantastic community around Once Upon a Time, and I feel so lucky to have found this amazing podcast. All magic comes with a price. All shows come with a podcast. And boy, are we lucky that we have this one

Found this gem of a podcast while looking for something to go alongside my rewatch of OUAT. I love the format of the episodes, especially how they actually play the full show and comment throughout so it feels like I’m watching it with friends! They strike the perfect balance - earnestly breaking down the underrated storytelling of the show while lovingly poking fun at its more cheesy moments. The hosts and production are amazing and the jumbo sized (2+ hrs long) episodes somehow hold my attention throughout. I put all my other podcasts on hold just to binge these while trying to catch up, they are that good! Thanks ila and mackee for creating my new fave podcast!

Finally the OUAT podcast I’ve been searching for. If you are a hardcore fan or one that fell off this podcast is a perfect rewatch enhancer. Both the hosts are hilarious and probably say what you are thinking when watching it. As a Kroger employee, who is suppose to have my ears open to help out needy customers with a fresh and smiling face, I opt to fill my ears with cast instead. It’s that good. Fire me I don’t care. I’m new to the ‘watch party’ format but I love it cause I can skip all the OUAT episodes I find boring or hate or sometimes can’t rewatch ‘‘em all. This podcast has your back.

I listen to podcasts at work so I am always on the look for good quality podcasts that can help pass the time. This podcast has excellent production quality, two very entertaining hosts, and a lot of behind the scenes info on the show. I am just finishing up the first season and can’t wait to binge my way up to the current episodes. I enjoy the hosts bantering and the production notes. I don’t believe I ever finished the show originally (I watched it live up until season four I believe then real life distracted me). So I am eager to revisit the seasons I remember and learn new things along the way.

Hi ila and Mackee, You guys have created a space for my once upon time love and I’m so grateful lol I started watching OUAT 5 years ago on Netflix. Since then, I’ve re-watched it I know at least 10 times. During that time, every-time I was with my friends or meeting someone and we were looking for something to watch, I tried to convince them to watch OUAT, but they could not get into it. My mom loves it just as much as I do, so we still binge watch it together sometimes lol. Finding this podcast is like finding my tribe lol re-watching it with you all is so exciting and fulfilling. I love hearing your commentary and anticipate a moment or scene to see if you two have the same opinion as I did lol. I love the fact that Mackee gives behind scene facts of the set. I’ve always loved shows where you can tell that the writers gave a great foundation for the actors to work with. It’s also interesting to know that writers from Buffy the Vampire Slayer also worked on OUAT, because that’s another show I love because the acting ( after season one lol) was amazing and the writing was impeccable. I feel the same way about Charmed too. I binge watch those three shows ( OUAT, Charmed, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer) several times lol. Thank you both sooo much for this podcast and hey if you ever do a rewatch party of Charmed and/or Buffy the Vampire Slayer I will be ecstatic! As this is a rewatch of OUAT for me, I am jumping between listening to the latest podcast episode and listening from the beginning. I really enjoy the banter and side bars during rewatch segment, and I am absolutely fascinated by the insider production notes that Mackee gives us. So I listen to a lot of podcasts…some for information, some for entertainment, some just for fun. This podcast is the one that has all of these things plus two very lovely hosts who are so relatable. When I listen every week I learn stuff, am very entertained and enjoy every bit of the thought provoking discussion about one of my favorite tv shows.

I’ve been watching Once Upon a Time for a long time. So much so that I’ve seen the entire series from start to finish about 5-6 times. Mackee and ila put such an interesting spin on everything that I’m seeing it in such a different light. They break everything down so even those who are watching/listening for the first time can understand all the minute details. Also all the jokes that they crack make it feel like I’m watching with friends. You won’t regret listening in. (P.S. ila is this enough words?😜😂)

If you enjoy OUAT and all it’s quirks and puns, you’ll enjoy this podcast and all its commentary. Also, you get the bonus of very interesting BTS facts. I thought I knew everything there is to know about the show, but every episode of this pod, I still learn something new, which I love because this is my favorite show of all time. Like someone else said, I don’t always agree with some of the things you guys say, but that’s okay. I happened to have watched OUAT from a different perspective. Also, I’ll likely be a Regina stan, aka Evil Regal, until the day I die. With that said, I’m loving the pod, loving you guys, and want you to keep doing what you’re doing. As a truck driver, the longer the episodes, the better. They make my 11 hour drives seem much shorter. Keep it Regal, you guys. Peace.

I realize I’m late to the game but I have found my people. (Mind you, I have never seen OUAT.) I love the fact that it feels like we are just chilling watching tv together. You guys have given me a new show to binge and I could listen to you guys talk all day, and find myself talking back to you as I listen. Keep it coming, guys.

Don’t let the three hour run time fool you. Good stuff in all three hours, including a live watch of the episode. The hosts reactions are hilarious as well, mackee clearly backing up from the mic when he needs to laugh is a highlight. If you need to keep talking about the magic that was this show, you’re in the right place. If Rumple is your favorite, you’re normal.

I love the format of the show and the hosts have such a cool vibe. You may not always agree with them, but you’ll have plenty of fun along the way. They encourage fan discussion and love to interact with their audience. They have a lot of interesting things to say about OUAT and I, for one, love to hear it. From trivia about production to killer sound effects to drilling down into the big questions like: how big is Storybrooke? How long have the people been stuck like this? Where exactly is the Chinese takeout in Storybrooke? The big ones. Have fun and give it a shot.

If you are as obsessed with Once Upon A Time as I am then this is the podcast for you! No one else in my real life is as obsessed with this show so the podcast is a wonderful way for me to dive deeper into my nerdy obsession with OUAT!! I can’t thank y’all enough for this!!
