jtmf0320Stop Saying MaRah & Taz Are Racist šTake a seat, white men, and Karens mad at my title. Iām a lily white Jewish girl & Iām tired of yāallās negative reviews - youāre wrong, full stop. Step outside of YOUR life experience & learn something. Okay, now that I said that, I cannot articulate how much I love this podcast! Iāve listened to every episode & have many saved to listen to again when I travel. I share & recommend this podcast to everyone! You have & always will have a huge fan in me! I love you girls, your storytelling, your singing & your āI know yāall donāt know me like thatā, and your friendship asides. I love yāall, for real, and hope youāre around for years to come ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø. I canāt get enough! You make the world a better place.

Ro from Indiana!Binge worthy podcast!Hi Taz & MaRah. My friend Nina suggested your podcast over the winter holiday and Iāve been hooked! I listen to multiple episodes a day & (sadly) am almost caught up. Itās so cute when Taz says, āYou-know-what-I-meeeeeanā & when MaRah spontaneously makes up songs. You both have beautiful voices (Taz yours is so smooth & soothing; I could listen to it all dayā- MaRah, your sweet singing always makes me smile). I love when you give us glimpses into your lives and let us in. Thank you for shedding light on underrepresented murderesses & educating us all on how the US system often fails Black women. Yāall are amazing. God bless!

sick using snugRead me please ā¤ļøāļøāļøāļøāļøāļø I absolutely love Sistas Who Kill podcast! The storytelling is captivating and keeps me on the edge of my seat, often making me laugh when I least expect it. I think it would be amazing if they covered the case of Kristel Maestas and Ronald Bellāit's such a fascinating story! If you're a true crime fan, you definitely need to check this out. Keep up the fantastic work!

JaydeJolieReallyTalking about it being āwhite peopleā and āget these white people out of hereā being the issue in regard to domestic violence laws in South Carolina is just ignorant. Always having something to say about white people and them being the issue. I used to love this podcast but the crazy racist talk is just too much and Iām not even white.

MuziklyTop shelfThe one thing that sets this podcast apart is you stay on topic. Even if you sidebar, you donāt stray so far that Iām lost. In an effort to find more Black true crime I searched the players names to pull up all podcast about them. Then I just look for the black ones. So I get different black host talking about the same crime. Itās like comparing great value to top shelf. I listen to the great value podcasts because they are black and I will add to their numbers every week. But I like you best. So I get one top shelf podcast a week and fill the rest of the time with great value. Side note: My daughter bought me Sistas Who Kill merch because thatās all I wanted for Christmas. Iām still waiting on it. She said shipping takes a while and Amazon prime has me spoiled. Sheās right but can I get my stuff? Much love and success in all you do.

EnchantedPearlIām from South Carolina!!I found you ladies about 2 months ago and Iāve been binge listening ever since!!! Now, Iām from SC and I agree with everything you said!! Been here all my life, they donāt like women or black people!!! Anyway, love you ladies and Iām hoping to see yāall in person soon!! Probably in Charlotte!! LOL

Rissa D.New Listener, I LOVEI love this podcast so much, it was my New Year goal to limit my phone time during the day especially at work, and this is the perfect listen. Itās so interesting to listen to, I started from the very beginning and Iām obsessed. I research every Sista after you talk about them and just wanted to mention, did you all know that Josephine Gray was granted clemency from Biden? Crazy lol.
-
AntoinetteDeniseI love it here!I just relistened from the beginning of time in preparation for the live show (Heyyyy from Chicago lol). I just wanna give you both your flowers!! ššš I loved the show from the very beginning of time and I am so proud of the growth and progress youāve made over the years! Canāt wait to see what 2025 brings!!
-
CamCher1Iām spoiled! There has been a few times where Iāve been in between downloads with you, and I attempt to listen to other podcasts in the same genre. Their style of storytelling makes me immediately wish that I never pressed play. Thereās usually a lot of banter, but no background story or information to bring the story together. With that being said, I believe for 2025 I learned my lesson and I will just wait for whenever you give the next download. lol Thank you for all your hard work and providing us entertainment !

JayKay6265 Stars All AroundI LOVE this podcast. Iāve been into true crime for years, but nothing beats hearing these stories about black women from 2 black women I swear Iām friends/cousins with. (Though MaRah could be my cousin - in my 34 years, Iāve never come across another person from Lake Village that I didnāt meet/grow up with in Lake Village -shout out to the Ville lol). I love the side banter and you two crack me up every episode. Keep up the great work ladies! Canāt wait to see you at the Chicago show this weekend.

eclecticlady1810s, 10s, 10s across the board š„1/6/25: I wanted to add another 5 star review but that wasn't an option so adding to the original! This most recent episode (Jacqueline "Jackie" Ray) is so good! I loved the addition of the Nicki audio clip. Also MaRah as you were doing your rendition of Leon it felt like he was having moments of realization and I love that you showed that through your voice! Definitely appreciate your theater experience! Also s/o to the HBCUs! My pageant sister & mom both went to š°š«¶š½. I look forward to attending the Chicago show (weather permitting)! Hey yāall! I found out about this podcast from Jokes on You (shout out to Talley & Mel š) & Iāv been hooked ever since! I appreciate the way in which yāall bring these stories to life, and especially that these stories are being told by women who have the heart and determination to make sure the details are all accounted for. As a Black Woman I find time and again that our stories get lost or misconstrued, so thank you for building a platform where our stories are the priority. Iām in the Justice field so I love hearing the legal perspectives regarding these cases. The Helen Fraizer episode had me DONE when yāall said her momma texted the family saying that Helen stabbed somebody & that she needs prayer, because I expect nothing less from a Black Mother š Thank yāall again, take care & be blessed āļøāØ
-
Tew CultyyyGreat showLove the format and the stories. Please stop chewing food in my ear though, eat after you record š©

grandrapidsboyExcellent workI recently flew to Rome to catch a cruise back to the USA, I didnāt listen to you ladies for 7 months, saved all episodes for my trip, the 12 hours flight, plus the 15 day cruise got me all caught up, I have a cruise booked from Australia but I canāt go that long without getting my SWK fix, keep doing what youāre doing and Iāll keep listening.
-

TruCrimeLova09š MANā¦.Yāall have forever ruined podcasts for me. Thereās nobody else like yāall and now when I listen to other true crime podcast I just get bored. I caught up to all the episodes that yāall put out and now Iām stuck waiting for each episode to drop every week. Yāall are so funny and you really put a spin on true crime like nobody else. I am truly glad that I found your podcast BUT you have really ruined other true crime podcasts (and honestly shows) for me because they aināt yāall! Keep doing what yāall do! Iāll just keep waiting impatiently every week for the new episodes š

Mecca____Long Time ComingI love yāall so much! Two Black women actually discussing crimes of Black women with nuance and understanding that we NEVER see from them #other (read: white) podcast hosts is finally here! This is what weāve been waiting for fr! Plus yall lowkey educational, really making me think about how many lives could have been saved (the incarcerated murderess and the victims) if this country actually cared about poor people (bc investing in the most vulnerable ppl in society improves the lives of everyone else). Investing in education, housing, employment, and healthcare could make such a huge difference in the US! Ugh, sometimes I canāt even listen to an episode bc Iām so bummed about the circumstances surrounding the murderess. Anyway, yall are a bright light in this world (which is ironic since yall cover murder and mayhem), please donāt stop doing what youāre doing! And also, @listeners #LeaveMaRahAlone everyone be giving her so much smoke, but I love her HBCU shout outs and random singing and put-on voices and her giving us hints into her crash-out past! And I love Taz, too, ofc! #RetainerGang stand up!

CL1978$Yāall are TOP-TIERHey MaRah and Taz, Iāve been a fan for the past couple of years and itās been an incredible experience listening to yāall tell Black womenās stories from the Black womanās perspective. What yāall do is invaluable and for that, Iām proud. Please donāt stop ā¤ļø
-
Twinch0ngNow Iām becoming skepticalAll yall really do is plagiarism. You literally watch documentaries and quote them exactly. What a joke. Yāall need to write your own transcripts or something close to that nothing yall say is original at all. Very disappointing to learn. Very underwhelming. What a let down!!! What a joke !!!!!
-
Bonnie69420All the StarsThis is the only true crime podcast i listen to and i started listening after MaRah & Taz were on the podcast formerly known as Whoreible Decisions. kimly15Second time aroundI initially followed SWK because I love to support my black sisters. But, I must admit that the first time I took a listen, the colorful language made me scroll through to another favorite podcast. Recently, I traveled with my 26 yo daughter that chose the true crime podcast for our 4 hour drive and Iāve been hooked ever since. Listening to you beautiful young ladies is like chatting with my daughter, niece and their friends. Thank you truly for the informative, passionate and colorful stories.

Markia0723Love the show!Iām still in the process of catching up (Iām in 2023 š©) but Iāll be so sad when I get there because I love this show. Marah and Taz are hilarious and do such a good job of telling these stories. I love the singing and Tazās funny commentary. Iāve also noticed how much growth you guys have made in the production of the podcast. Keep doing what youāre doing! We deserve our stories to be told too. The good, the bad and the ugly.

-
Grayson stancilSimply the best True crime podcast! You ladies may not remember, but at CrimeCon 2024, my sister FaceTimed me because I'd just had my daughter and couldn't attend. Your brief hello nearly brought me to tears. What I didn't know then was that my sister had asked you to sign a birthday card for me, which she gave me in June for my birthday with a SWK shirt. I'm belatedly saying thank you; your kindness meant a lot. Please keep up the great work.
-
