    Thank you!
These guys are incredibly helpful! Not only are their shows super informative, but they’re also kind enough to answer questions from beginners (like me). Thank you guys, really appreciate it!

    Great people and great podcast!
Every episode feels like I’m sitting around with close friends and enjoying a drink. I love to meet these two in person someday and work along side them in the bee yard. I look forward to every episode! I have learned more and have tried new ideas from this podcast that any other beekeeping podcast. Kara Jo and Greg are easy to listen too and give a friendly and comedic feeling to the podcast. Please keep the episodes coming!

    Real Talk
Finally a podcast on bees that’s real. I recently found this podcast after listening to a few others. I’ll continue to listen to them as they are more the science side of things. These guys are easy to listen to (only listened to a few episodes so far) and come across as regular people. I thought I was the odd one out when I recently started in beekeeping that I wasn’t totally geeked out on the science…just let me know what’s working and not. Quality of audio is top notch so it’s easy to listen to and seems like we are all sitting around over a beer. Enjoy it a lot!

The Only Beekeeping Podcast I Listen To
I started listening to these guys about half way into my first summer beekeeping. I’ve learned a lot from them. They’re easy to listen to and the conversation is fun. They are good story tellers as well. Be sure to check them out on Instagram as they post good content too. If you’re looking for 100% beekeeping topics only then listen to something else or read a book. Sometimes they’ll go off on tangents(entertaining) or talk about stuff like chickens or other related topics but it always circles back to bees. Anyone that doesn’t leave a 5 star review is wrong.

    No beekeeping education
For people interested in learning something about beekeeping try a different podcast. Too much rambling and off topic conversations to make this worth listening to.

    Enjoyable
I like these guys. I’m a beekeeper too, but backyard. I pick up a couple things from these guys but mostly they are just cool and it’s enjoyable. If you are looking to improve your beekeeping skills, maybe not the best podcast. If you are looking to find a casual podcast with real people going through real stuff and also a little beekeeping: you’ll probably love it. Rock on.

    Can’t do this
I just can’t stomach the hipster way they talk and the inane conversation they have with nothing to do with beekeeping. There are way better pods out there.

    Episode 23
There is nothing in this episode about bees.

    Candid, Funny, Relatable and Informative
Vital resource for me as a new beekeeper and expansive enough that I have re-listened as I gain more experience and picked up new information and skills each time!

So helpful and informative for a new beekeeper!
As a new beekeeper I have sought out resources to help me learn more about this hobby. I have learned SO MUCH from listening to Greg and Kara Jo. They keep things light, but deliver awesome content each episode. I have truly learned a lot from them and I can’t recommend this podcast enough! If you’re a new beekeeper take some time to listen in! You will be glad you did!!

    All the buzzzzzzz
This is a great podcast about beekeeping. In recent years beekeeping as become ‘trendy’ and many hobbyist have flooded the trade. Greg and Kara have a true passion for respecting the trade and paging through the crowd. It’s obvious from this podcast and their IG that they are here to stay. The care they put into their hives, the hours of research and commitment to mentorship is evident in everything they do. If you ever get a chance to try a bottle of their summer honey don’t pass up the opportunity! 5 stars for the podcast and 10 stars for their actual work with their hives.

    Check this out!
Kara and Greg are the bees knees (see what I did there?)!! The podcast is informative and genuinely funny. Don’t know a lot about bees? Doesn’t matter. Kara and Greg walk everyone through the basics, but remember there are the more dedicated bee enthusiasts who will be equally as entertained. Stop reading this and go listen!

Sweet couple, with helpful, solid info.
Good listen, with honest and helpful info for new beekeepers or those thinking about getting started. They sound so genuine, kind and down to earth, people you would love to share a beer with.

    Fun, Light, and Educational
I’m glad this podcast isn’t just bee hive facts. It also shows the reality of keeping bees.

    Wonderful
This is one of the maybe 5 podcasts I subscribe and listen to. Informative, entertaining and just a pleasure to spend an hour or so each episode of your time with. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that has even a small interest in bees and beekeeping.
  • Evahflow
    Great podcast with Great people
Greg & Kara Jo are fantastic, knowledgeable, and engaging. A great educational podcast with even better people running it. I’ve been lucky enough to have their Honey and it is by far the best I’ve ever had. So I feel like they know a thing or two about what they are doing. Subscribe, listen and even better, go buy the honey!
  • Fluxions!
    Rambling rambling rambling.
I was hoping for more solid talk about beekeeping, not a cheerful couple drinking beer, gabbing and guessing. Why do podcasters find themselves so fascinating, and think we will too? On top of that they don’t know much about bees. They actually guess when they don’t know. Seriously?
  • Josiah Ki
    Great for all beekeepers
Love the podcast, simple info about what can go wrong and how to work on it. Nice people, entertaining to listen to.
  • Sven Lehman
    Worth a listen
    Really digging it!
  • Driver2344
    Super informative and interesting
Learning a lot from this podcast would highly recommend.
