linzdelActually practicalI like that they actually provide practical advice. Other homemaking podcasts are often more philosophical than practical.

foodthatsworthitThanks for making this!It has been so fun listening to this this year while I embarked on my homemaking journey. I can see the changes it has made for my family and my own personal growth and peacefulness. I’m so appreciative for the coziness that you’ve helped inspire in my home. Wishing Nessa and Shannon all the best. <3

ElenaSB1227Absolutely Soul RevivingI found this podcast on my niche search of getting myself into the community of homemaking and homesteading. I normally listen on Spotify myself, but I love this podcast so much that I came to leave my review in Apple Podcast. These women are wonderful at being helpful, bringing forth experienced knowledge, and joyfully relatable. I look forward to continue to listen and I highly recommend to listen even if you don’t necessarily find yourself entirely into homemaking or homesteading, because all their helpful discussions and chats are great for anyone who is looking to work within themselves and their spirit with God. Like a live coal laid upon my heart to continue to be hopeful and personally changed with a connection I could find in this shows experience!

Brunettegurl6402Binge listened to it all in a few weeks!I found this podcast only a few weeks ago and have binge listened to it all! I absolutely love the dynamic between them both and it feels like chatting with friends. I’ve already implemented so many things I’ve learned from them. Even though I am single and do not have my own place I still incorporate what I’m learning into my everyday life. They are such an inspiration and I truly enjoyed every single episode!

Sophie DomaniIncredible!!I have listened to all of season one and it is so encouraging and I absolutely love listening to each episode!

Ciara! This Beat IsLoveI love this podcast so much. It feels just like a convo between friends. As someone who doesn’t have many people around me who value homemaking, it’s so refreshing knowing there are others out there! Praying for Nessa and her family during this incredibly difficult time. I hope that the podcast will come back at some point, when the timing is right for everyone involved. 🤍

Mr. NickelsonA favorite of mine! This podcast has quickly become a new favorite of mine! I feel like I’m sitting in a room with my bffs just drinking coffee, hanging out & chatting. I love every topic, story, & tip that they share! We need more podcasts like this for wives/mothers. Thank you fellow homemakers for taking the time to produce this masterpiece.

😡 INFURIATING 😡I Really Wanted To Like It.First off this is my personal opinion so take it with a grain of salt. I tried hard to like this podcast but I keep getting the feeling after each listen that something was off. I was hoping this podcast would actually be geared more towards homemaking and possibly be filled with tips, tricks and encouragement. While those things are scattered into the pod I have difficulty extracting them from all the chit chat. Sounds more like 2 friends/sisters talking about their lives than a practical homemaking podcast.

grac3My new favorite podcast!!It’s rare to find a podcast with such wholesome, inspiring, and relatable content. I feel that being a homemaker is a privilege, rather than a burden that society pushes on us. It’s so refreshing to find like-minded women who understand both the challenges and joys of homemaking! I love all the little tips and insights I learn from each episode, and it always feels like I’m hanging out and chatting with two of my girlfriends. They also both have lovely, calming voices to listen to. Thank you!!

KatieMcMeenGrateful for this communityI found this podcast back in October the week before my daughter was born. I was looking for a community that valued the home, especially as society is diminishing the value of finding joy in homemaking. I found what I was searching for and more in this podcast, would highly recommend!

jehnahMy Heart Needed ThisFeeling lost in the chaos and loneliness of being a new homemaker, I was so desperate for some type of guidance, solace, understanding, ANYTHING — that I just searched “homemaker” in Apple Podcast. God made this podcast my first search result for a reason. These girls make me feel like I have two new friends, sharing a cup of coffee with me while they share their tips, tricks, and just share in fellowship while I can enjoy some everyday chat between them and feel like I’m really a part of their group. I can’t explain how much I needed this podcast. Girls, thank you for sharing your hearts, homes and minds with us!

tallibabeLove this podcast!I discovered this podcast right after I got married and became a stay at home wife! It has been so helpful! I love listening when I’m doing the dishes, folding laundry, etc. I highly recommend!!!

totaltwifan21Love this podcast!!!Please keep making episodes! This podcast has been very inspiring. I love to listen to it while cooking or cleaning the house. I work from home and am responsible for most of the household chores as my husband has a very busy work schedule. This podcast helps me get through the chaos of the week and inspires me to make my home beautiful for my husband, family, and friends. Thank you Nessa and Shannon for this amazing podcast and for sharing your lives with us!

LaurelGraceCoLove 💖I’m a teen and I benefit soooo much from this podcast. I have always had the dream of being a stay at home mom and a homemaker. But society discourages it and makes me feel like I’m suppressing my life. Although I do not listen to what the world has to say, it is still hard to find inspiration or to see the need for home making. I would definitely recommend this podcast to anyone who takes interest in their family’s welfare and the environment of your home! I also love that they are Christians, which I am, and I would love to hear more about faith and it’s correlation with homemaking

vimeo is lifeThe bonus showI loved the shorter show version! I'd like to think of it as a bonus to your monday shows. Informative and practical 💕

daysofsunshineRefreshing & inspiring!I love hearing about all of the ways to embrace homemaking! It is encouraging to hear. I love the creativity, simplicity, and ways to enjoy life!

CarrieKinnisonGood advice (especially for those without kids)I found this podcast last week and have been catching up on episodes. I love their down to earth vibe. The only thing I’d say is if you have kids (like I do) it may be harder to relate to these hosts who both don’t have kids. Homemaking, I’ve found, looks very different when your time is literally not your own! They do mention things women with kids can do to get more time to themselves like sending them outside or giving them a quiet activity, but this felt kind of out of touch to me coming from someone who (presumably) hasn’t been in the position of wrangling the energy of small children. Just different phases of life. But al in all, still a relaxing, inspiring listen.

E. SettleInspiringI feel like these women are my best friends. Both are so intelligent and have inspired me to put the time and energy into my home even on the hard days. This podcast brings me peace and helps me to kindle the traditional feminine virtues in a time where they are often undervalued. Thank you Shannon and Nessa. You lead the way. Please keep making podcasts! 💜

Kaylie Cat KittyLove!Nessa and Shannon do such a great job of making me feel like I’m having a nice warm cup of coffee with them right in their kitchen or living room as I listen to them chat about life. So relatable and inspiring it makes the episode feel so short. I’ve been a wife, mother and homemaker for over 14yrs and still learn and take away from the episodes. Thank you for such great content!
-
Rhythm of AdventureBrilliant!I’ve basically binged every episode in a matter of a few days and it has been thoroughly enjoyable! Not only are your voices incredibly soothing, but everything you share is so helpful and encouraging. As a mother of four, I am looking forward to the future of this podcast and all the parenting tips I know you two will share! Thank you for enhancing my homesteading skills in a crazy and chaotic world!

Uilani KumuhoneOff of a whimSo I’m a 28 year old mom of 5 and I found your podcast off of a whim actually, I was searching for home interior podcast because me and my husband are in the process of moving into our very first home as home buyers, but I was almost shocked when I heard that Vanessa lives in Hawaii. I’m actually born and raised in Hawaii (the island of Oahu I’m sure you live on Big Island also another beautiful island) and now am raising my babies. I’m still on your first episode but I have to say it feels good to hear other women on here that is the same age and podcasting. I am also a podcaster as well for a podcast called, “Faith In Between” and I get excited to hear other women and others who come from Hawaii on podcasting! I’m still listen and so far it’s been great keep going you guys are doing great. Mahalo Ui

markallaThe homemaker chic next generationSo im a big homemaker chic podcast fan, and it’s the only podcast I’ve listened to ever. I’ve been wanting to find new ones like it since I can’t get enough of it! but haven’t found one that clicked. Whhalleee I found it! I’ve literally only listened to the first 20 minutes of the first episode and my review is going up :) I definitely did some sneaking around to find if these lovely ladies loved Jesus. Sure enough they do! Jesus + home making+ best friends sounds like a wonderful podcast to me! Not to mention one lives in the PNW and one in Hawaii. Both those places have my heart! Can’t wait to binge these to catch up!
