I barely have enough time and mental capacity to keep my tiny person alive, much less to read the news (even a daily synopsis email feels out of reach). TPO has been amazing, offering enough info to stay in the loop without feeling like a chore to keep up with.

Listening to the news is of the day is important but can be discouraging. To hear the news I need to know about paired with pertinent scripture is huge!

The Pour Over gives me just enough news to keep me updated. And I know that whatever my thoughts or opinions on the matter are on the matter in the moments I will hear scripture right afterwards to keep me in the right world view.

Nice way to listen to the headlines, and keep Christ at the center.

I really appreciate the Pour Over! It gives me the opportunity to be able to be in a conversation with knowing at least the major things that's going on when I am so busy that I don't have time to access any type of other news source. Of course, as a Christ follower, our priorities, I have to be in check with the kingdom of God. And they have it with the reminders that Christ is the authority of this earth. I also appreciate the humor & play on words!

I recommended to my teens...a quick 10m of solid, clean, & objective news painted with a Christ-like brush & has proved worthy for my rotation. It's good to be informed in current events and it's better to be focused on an interpretation which is just & right

Why do people think that background noise is ok when someone is talking. Cut out the noise and I might listen to them. I will read the information as its quieter. Content is good and useful. I do not appreciate trying to listen to someone talking and having to wade thru noise to hear them. Good day !

Finally! I have never payed attention to the news, I would mostly get updates from my dad. My dad passed away a little over a year ago and I’ve been out of the loop. I am thankful for the pour over because now I can keep up with what’s happening and they also tell you how to view it through the lenses of the gospel. I really enjoy and appreciate the pour over for quick news updates. The verses to go along with the stories to give perspective are wonderful. That being said, a lot of the news these days have to do with sexual misconduct. I understand that that’s part of reporting the news, but it makes me want to turn it off when details of the charges are given and my elementary kids are listening with me. Can you still report the headlines and keep it general? If I want to know more details I can look it up on my own. Thanks!

I had resolved to stick my head in the sand, regarding news. It had all largely given me a feeling that it couldn’t be trusted to not be very biased. The truth is that the events of the world are all secondary to God’s will. The news that matters is still the Good News of Christ! Thank you for letting me be informed while remaining grounded in real truth!!

Love the Scripture and content. But if you are bothered by words and names being mispronounced regularly, this might be too much for you.
