There is only one person who could fill the shoes of the mighty Rush Limbaugh, and it’s the person who was with The Greatest of All-Time for decades. James “Bo Snerdley” Golden brings a very similar element of entertainment that made Rush so unique. It was the combination of remarkable intelligence, having fun, and being the consummate entertainer that made Rush great and Mr. Golden brings those same attributes to the table. Takes me back to the days of Rush Rooms!

Miss rush. Just recently found you. I’m finally able to listen to rush again without crying. I’ve been listening to rob Carson I like him to but he started on rush so it’s just sensible I guess. Keep up the great awesome work. Love your tidbits of knowledge of music.

Excellent podcast

My husband turned me on to Rush Limbaugh back when I was in my forty’s. I listened to him daily. I was more than saddened by his death. Found your podcast a few years ago and love your show. I also loved your book about Rush! Thank you for being another informative voice with meaning and depth!

I love everything about James Golden but the podcasts posted are missing episodes that I know have aired. Also, there is no notice or substitute hosts on the podcasts when Mr Golden is on vacation.

You have too much dead time between words. Speed up your process and your podcast would be more lively.

I have finally found it in your show. You have taken so much you have learned from the greatest and given your own delicious flavor to it. The music, the guests, and you sir, are hilarious. James Golden (BO) not only continues but expands the Excellence in Broadcasting network started by Rush Limbaugh. The best thing is this- BO, in his own right, is just as good!

I just started listening as I just couldn’t since Rush passed. Now that I’ve settled down, Mr. Snerdly is my fav show! Measured and reasonable. Love the bumper music and the inside banter with the young-uns! Just wish the show wasn’t from New York.

You blew it Monday in your conversation with Curtis. You advocated gun control for the elderly and then talked about the “hoodrats” rioting in Chicago. The underlying reason for people arming themselves is there’s no law enforcement or justice. We have to protect ourselves and there will be mistakes and accidents. Do we ban autos because 50,000 Americans die in car accidents each year? You sounded like a New York liberal.

I love Bo, love the content. Lately the podcast is becoming unlistenable because of two things. The commercial breaks are unbelievably louder than Bo. If you’re listening with earbuds, it’s waay too much. Also, whoever plays the (typically) Trump outbursts during Bo’s talking needs to knock it off. It’s childish and distracting. One time- funny. Ten times- too much. Bo’s show needs to get back to the quality it was. Content is still great.

James Golden is the closest thing to Rush on the radio today! Wish he had the 11-2 time slot nationwide, he could fill the void in so many radio listeners’ hearts that was left by Rush’s untimely passing.

I keep asking myself when is syndication going to happen. I pray always for your health and enormous success. I notice others on the station are copying elements of your show. “Bo Snerdly” is back! And he is James Golden! This show has all the elements that the Rush Limbaugh Show did especially in the early years. Serious commentary, wit, humor, all the great mechanics, bumper music, Johnny Donovan and a perspective which is truly and could only be Golden. Having regular visits from the Rush staff like Mark Steyn and “Princess” Diana Mee really rounds out the experience. This show has everything Rush’s show did. “Bo” is the ONLY person who could take up where Rush left off. No offense to those guys in Rush’s time slot. They are okay but it should have been “Bo” from noon to 3 nationally. Even so, we have you an hour every weekday and 3 early on Saturday radio and the podcasts! Thanks, Bo! You rock!! Stay the course!

Bo Snerdley or James Golden is smart, funny, not very politically correct, has great taste in music and a joy. I hate to miss the broadcast and am relieved to listen to podcast if I have to miss the show. Check him out on Saturday. 7 AM to 10. Great way to start your day!!!

Don’t know if it’s related or unrelated, conscious or subconscious, coincidental or not, but James refreshingly captures what Rush mastered with thoughtful informative insight and opinions along with an uncommon ability to remain a gentleman while pressing a substantive argument. Whatever that secret ingredient used by Rush Limbaugh relate and connect with an audience, it comes through when I listen to James Golden.

I was listening to the Feb 15 episode how city workers were being fired and not allowed to work elsewhere or collect unemployment benefits. The question needs to be asked since these jobs are union jobs with contracts that have been negotiated and voted on, who are the clowns meaning the union reps who signed off on this garbage? I am a native New Yorker who grew up in Staten Island and moved away 30 yrs ago, and as far as I’m concerned these unions are nothing but breeding grounds for the democrat party.
