    Patience/friendliness
If Tyler mocked the fans a little less that would be great. I get it, fans can be, well, FANatic, and you get tired of it, but they are also why you can have a podcast. So, show your frustration with them/us a little less. Thanks.

tyler, i love your information....please stop saying "um", and "like" .. very distracting

    The opposite of hard hitting
This podcast is the opposite of hard hitting. They offer fluffy non critical analysis. They did the same when Kelly was the coach. They only got “tough” on Kelly after Kelly left for LSU. Irish Sports Daily and Irish Breakdown and more hard hitting and really tell you how things are.

    Used to be good
This podcast used to be good but then they switched to YouTube and now rarely update the podcast. I guess it’s a money grab. When they finally get around to uploading podcasts the news is stale and outdated.

Best guests/most balanced analysis of ND podcasts
Eric is the OG of modern ND football reporting and as a result, brings both great perspective and lasting relationships with top former players and administrators to add vibrancy and history to discussions of current teams. Tyler calls it as he sees it and has a great conversational style - both of which are welcome. Each episode is a fun listen.

    ND football must listen…
Eric and Tyler’s approach to ND football is the best. Combining interviews with former players or experts in the know, they always bring a fresh perspective. The question and answer section allows them to share their vast knowledge, especially with tough questions from Marie B in Atlanta. Yes you need to add the FNS to your podcast feed, as well as an audio of Eric’s Chat Transcript. Long time fan. Kirk from San Diego and now in El Dorado Hills, CA

Informative podcast with a combination of detailed interviews and honest, somewhat folksy and enjoyable answers to listener’s questions. One of 3 ND football podcasts I listen to regularly that maintains a combination of professionalism and easy-going wit. I have a request - as someone who played other sports in high school 34+ years ago but never played organized football, I’d be interested in knowing what a typical practice is like for various positions. I hear about “taking reps”. When I played basketball, baseball, and soccer there was constant action during practice in one way or another. So I’m not really familiar with what “taking reps” means. Do some players who aren’t starting or beyond the 2-deep just standing around for a large part of practice? Curious to know how that all works. An interview with a recent ND graduate player on offense and defense - starter and one who didn’t play too much would be insightful. Thank you - Mark.

    Top Notch
Best interviews and also the best at actually answering questions that they request from listeners (this is appreciated a lot). Nice mix of humor and facts—able to parry the “win or die” fanatic mentality of certain % of fan base… All in all, playing their podcast is like putting on a nice warm pair of socks on a cold day ;)

Eric Hansen and Tyler James are two of the best sports analysts in the business and do a great job sharing insightful observations and balanced opinions on Notre Dame sports, along with the occasional side commentary on the StL Cardinals from Eric.😂

Honest, Insightful Coverage of the ND Football Beat
I’ve been following Eric Hansen and Tyler James for over a decade, and they’re the standard for honest, insightful, local coverage of Notre Dame football. With the South Bend Tribune and before social media produced so much more content, Hansen started his live weekly chats and spent hours answering readers’ questions. As journalism has evolved, so, too, have Hansen and James, yet they still produce honest, insightful coverage. They have a variety of guests connected to the program, recruiting, and college football, and they answer readers’ questions and “place their bets” each week on Vegas’ ND lines. On top of that, Hansen and James are humble, and they provide enough insight without overindulging. I’ve long admired Hansen’s humor, too. Give these guys a follow!

    More Kelly
i would give this show six stars every time kyle kelly is on. it’s a four star show without him. that averages out to five stars.
