This podcast is absolutely fantastic! Your style has really captivated the audience and with the paranormal survivors telling their stories makes it that much more authentic unlike the majority of these paranormal podcasts out there. Please continue to make more!

A lot of the episodes left my mouth agape and my coworkers were looking at me weird. Lol! The equal of this podcast would be Radio Rental. It’s not strictly supernatural but it’s on that level. I hope this podcast releases more episodes in the future. It’s worth listening to just make sure it’s daytime and you’re in a crowd. 🤣🤣🤣

The sound effects kind of take away from the story. A little is fine. But, they are a bit overdone.

I really like the stories but the reenactments & the sound effects/build up music whatever you want to call it are reeeeeeeally really really cheesy.

I don't know why, but the two stories i heard were just not believable. I usually love these kinds of pods but this just have me Ed and Lorraine Warren vibes. A waste of time.

Where’s the new stuff?

I really wanted to like this podcast, but the sound effects are so over the top. The random screams and sounds take away from the story that the person is telling. It honestly feels like a TV show, just without the visuals. If you don’t like jump scare sound effects, this isn’t the podcast for you. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Had much higher hopes for Eli Roth. This is just another low quality tv show with retellings and dramatizations.

The spirit world is around us constantly, cool to hear a podcast that features real stories from the person and also sounds great!

I have this a listen. The stories were good and well told. What I don’t like is the sound effects. Sounds like an audio from a TV show. The screaming hurts my ears and I don’t think it adds anything to the stories. I actually feel annoyed with the over exaggerated sounds effects.. So I’m not sure how much longer I’ll keep listening.

Love Eli & everything he does. Great show. Definitely recommend

I’m so happy this became a podcast! The show has way too many dramatic scenes. The podcast lets us know the story without having to suffer through it.

Great stories, but I’m not a fan of the re-enactments. It takes away from the realness of the stories and are louder than the person telling the story so I have to keep turning my volume down when people start screaming.

Love the show and listening to the podcast especially at work just gets my heart beating.

Terrifying for the people in these stories. What’s interesting is it isn’t always a happy ending. Some are still tormented. Some of the things mentioned resonate with me. I’m saying out loud “yes!…me too!…same!” a few times.

I love this show and the stories and the way Eli narrates I just really don’t like the re-enactments because it takes away from the story.

I really enjoyed listening to this podcast. Hoping there will be another season and soon! I totally binged this in 2 days. Please bring back another season. Pleeeeease

This is one of the main favorites of the podcasts for me if I don’t get new episodes soon I seriously might die 🔪🔪(literally)

Quality ghost story podcasts are hard to find. Aside from Spooked, I was having trouble finding one that wasn’t poorly produced and/or embarrassing. I found this one on a list of shows to check out, and when I downloaded the first episode, I was excited by how polished it sounded. The narrators were authentic, the backing sound effects and music was on-point, and everything seemed to be going perfectly. I thought I’d finally found another high-quality spooky show to enjoy. But then it took a I’ve when I realized they were adding acting to each episode. The decision to pair the narration with dramatic reenactments using voice actors is a bad one. Every time the person telling the story is interrupted by silly reenactments by the actors, it takes me straight out of it. The reenactments do next to nothing to enhance the quality of the storytelling, and the show would be substantially better if they’d leave those reenactments for the visual companion to this show. That said, I still listened to every episode and found it enjoyable overall, but those goofy reenactments detract significantly from an otherwise well-produced show.

But are they just the same exact stories as the stories on the actual tv show via discovery+??? I’ve already binged through and was hoping these were different from the televised episodes. Maybe I just also misunderstand the concept of these particular shows after televised ones. :(

this is one of the creepiest podcasts i feel watched or that something is around… it’s just a well tailored storytelling of real accounts… the stories are creepy and i’ll be sleeping w lights on for a while!

I really wanted to get into this podcast, but just couldn’t get over the way dramatic re-enactments, overproduced bg music, and the screaming. Nothing more annoying than listening to something and hearing high pitched screaming multiple times.

I love the stories and the effects. Eli Needs more research for what he calls “saging”. The proper term is smudging and is a religious practice used by Indigenous people. Please reach out to the many Traditionals for advice and not the white person at an herbal and stone store.

Extremely basic podcast, there are much better supernatural podcasts out there. I find the dramatization over done, no good stories, also so short. Pretty much all I listen to at work is podcasts, this is one if not the worst one I’ve heard.

Overall, this is a great podcast. I like the ambiance and the stories are well curated. The re-enactments are a little cheesy and I think could be removed without any impact to the content. Sound effects could be used as the person is telling their story instead of cheesy re-enactments. I think it would make the pod flow a lot better. Definitely worth a listen and subscribe!

Interesting stories so far but they’re obscured by a lot of unnecessary (and often over acted) re-enactments and sound effects that don’t add much to the story. Promising start!
