    Absolutely blown away
I’ve done a ton of research on narcissism and yet I’ve been completely blown away by this podcast. The compassion, kindness, empathy of the hosts and the content and their feedback on questions from others is nothing short of incredible. I’m only upset I didn’t find it sooner! Ha. Thank you!!!!

    Thank you
Thank you to Katie and Helen for putting this podcast together. I’ve learned so much terminology to describe how I grew up and found a large community where I’m not alone.

Wise Women figures I never had
I have never felt so validated. This podcast, out of all of them, speaks directly. It’s like I’m a child in the corner of the room and these two defenders are there talking about what happened to me (or the person in the message), and just their anger toward what the listener is writing about…..I have never felt like I could raise my head. I will tell all of the fb and mom groups about this podcast. It is so life changing. I appreciate the genuine-ness of even their irritation and then angry “soapbox” moments with some tastefully sprinkled-in choice words. I feel understood and supported. I feel like they’re in my corner and they are my voice, or helped me to just take perspective. They’re in my corner. One of the many things is the fact that they’re honest with each other, or they bring up things that might be a different perspective, and their humble openness and pleasant back and forth. It’s like one brings in a new perspective. It’s literally like watching the teachers (as a student in a lab/class) talk about a topic/dissect, and discuss. Literally how they bounce off of each other. Such a good dynamic. I also like their short and sweet ads, greetings, and ‘take care, bye!’. Literally binge listening to all the episodes and sometimes listening to the episodes again and again. The feelings, thoughts, challenges, support, sadness, and raising of my head that I experience with every podcast. I never learned any of this in detail the way they are talking about it. I could go on, and I probably will comment on their YouTube. I love how they’re on camera too, and the shorts.

    So eye-opening and validating
I only recently stumbled upon this podcast after seeing some reels on Instagram. This podcast is so educational and validating those who have experienced emotional abuse and/or neglect OR want to learn more about how their own behaviors may be abusive. Katie and Hellen do such an awesome job of explaining these behaviors, validating the listener, and giving tips on how to address them.

    This podcast is life changing.
That sounds like bombast, but it’s not! These experts’ wisdom, insight, compassion, skill and honesty is just fantastic - as is their rapport and evident love and respect for one another. Listening to this podcast offers a master class in understanding oneself - including how to identify feelings arising in our bodies, and understanding the childhood narratives giving rise to those feelings. This isn’t only helpful for those of us who’ve experienced a relationship with a narcissist, but also those who’ve experienced a range of childhood traumas. Thank you so much, Katie and Helen. You are changing people’s lives.

I thought I had worked through everything
This podcast has made me change the way I see myself. It has also changed the way I tend to usurp responsibility for others at my and my family’s expense. I feel so much lighter and grounded and I’m so grateful!

    Healing and Validating
I’ve just found this podcast and have been binging it. It’s so nice to be understood and validated. It is incredibly healing. The compassion is unmatched. I haven’t been able to find someone who can help me with my inner turmoil of dealing with a narcissistic mother. They are well educated and give advice that actually helps me progress and grow. I have let go of so much shame and feelings of responsibility and duty. Definitely a must listen for those who have struggled with a narcissist or even abusive and toxic people.

    Validating and Transformative
Highly recommend for anyone who is working through these issues. Helen and Katie address each listener case frankly and with compassion.
  • I love how
    Like Sitting Down with Friends
Katie and Helen let us into their lives while also diving into common issues that plague us that have dealt with Narcissistic abuse/toxic behaviors. Even from a listener “across the pond” from these two, I’ve devoured nearly every episode. There’s always a nugget to take away for my own life and how to reframe things I’ve experienced or dealt with currently.

Not on point and a lot of fluff around each topic
I like the topics that the hosts select, but unfortunately the discussions are not concise or even helpful sometimes.

    Thank you!
Feeling seen and valued is often such a struggle for people who were raised with a lack of love and support. Like I was. Katie and Helen do a really excellent job of affirming how *everyone* deserves to have been given those things as a child (and as an adult), and explaining some of the common mechanics in narcissistic abuse without giving any sense of overreaching or diagnosing. Every show gives me something I find helpful.

    Love it!
I love this podcast so much. I will put my headphones on, listen to this podcast, and take notes. I have 6 pages of notes! This podcast has made me realize that I’m not alone in feeling the way I do and that I don’t have to necessarily “fix myself,” which has eased my burden. I truly am thankful for Katie and Helen. What they are doing with this podcast is amazing! ❤️
