    Decent Numancast with potential
Anything analyzing (Gary) Numan is often hard to come by. Here is a podcast that is one part musical analysis and one part historical piece with a dash of community feedback. The podcast is generally short and the intro takes up about a minute of play time. I’d look at compressing that to allow more time for the track of the show. Information from interviews and the recent Numan autobiography are fine but it could be said information from Praying To The Aliens and Electric Pioneer would be supporting. Especially if the track was a single. Some of us enjoy the history of recording locations, personnel and release information. Further, questions could be asked about each track, how does this hold up? Has it influenced any other artists or has the track been sampled? Finally, I’m not one for the comments stating “it’s a great track, I love it.” I would like to know why people love particular tracks. Is the love because of the nostalgia garnered or is it because of the musicianship and skill of the artist and supporting personnel? Or in my case, have you ever sang a particular Numan track at Karaoke and added another artists lyrics in over the music because it was in the same musical key or range? Anyway, decent podcast with potential. Another more critical reviewer is Tyler King on YouTube. He goes through each album listing out the good and the bad.
