Martins & More with Spoon Phillips

7

Hi friends- we regret to inform you that recently, both of our day jobs have conspired to take away much of our free time. So much so, that we must take a long hiatus from podcasting. We’ll keep you posted when we know more. For now, THANK YOU for all the support & please enjoy our past episodes. We truly enjoyed producing them. This podcast features the conversation and opinions of musician T Spoon Phillips. A writer by trade, Spoon’s longtime association with professional musicians, luthiers, and music historians affords him a richly unique perspective on all things acoustic guitar. This includes decades of close friendship with executives and employees at C. F. Martin & Company, past and present, and the host of this podcast, Maury Rutch of Maury’s Music. Yeah
A truly original and informative podcast in a somewhat niche space. If you are a Martin guitar enthusiast this podcast is a must.

    My weekly highlight
I love this podcast. From the whimsical banter to the high-level minutia of Martin guitars. Not only do I feel entertained but enlightened. And somehow listening has even made me a better guitarist. Truly, a great podcast not only for Martin’s and Blue Ridge guitars, but just to understand the making and function of guitars overall.

Greetings from China! I’ve been listening to this podcast show on my way to office and home. It is a great show to learn about Martin guitars, and for me, a great option to learn English as well. I love Maury’s hosting style and the jokes, and Spoon’s endless knowledge about Martin guitars. Keep going please!
