    Special place in my heart
This is perhaps one of the best podcast I think I ever heard and I mean that. There were some of the funniest moments and there were times that made me tear up. This cast and their made up characters, have truly made my day; I only wish to listen to their journey again and again; for they are the “happy boys” FEAR THEM!

Truly Deep… about 9 layers worth
Wonderful cast, tons of fun. The characters are clever and wonderfully written. It will keep you in stitches and on the edge of your seat. Highly recommended!!

    Wonderful!
As a huge Mischief fan, I knew this podcast would be good. When a bunch of fantastic storytellers come together to play a game they love and create a story around that game, it creates a beautiful work of art. I know nothing about D&D but the description of the rules and various aspects of gameplay gave me a clear understanding on what was going on. This podcast is just another way the amazing folks at Mischief manage to bring lots of light and laughter into my life.

pure chaos (but with the biggest heart)
as a big dnd live play fan and someone who’s loved watching all of the classics (d20, critical role, naddpod, la by night, etc) — this one by far makes me laugh out loud the most! i’ve been a huge fan of all of these artists and dave’s storytelling is fantastic and ridiculous, and all the characters are a joy to follow and absolute goofs! definitely give them a listen!!!

Puns, Nudity and Jam- Everything You Need in A Terrific Actual Play Podcast
If you enjoy and/or play in DnD, I highly recommend this podcast as something fun and exciting to listen to in between the more intensive actual play podcasts. I love Critical Role and the Dimension 20 campaigns, but this was a very refreshing change. If you enjoy the works of Mischief Theatre (i.e. The Goes Wrong Show, and The Play That Goes Wrong) but know next to nothing about DnD, I encourage you to give this podcast a listen. Because the players and Game Master are a part of long-running theatre ensemble, their rapport is excellent, and take time to cite a lot of basic rules in gameplay without taking up the whole air-time. They also cause and get involved in many silly shenanigans. If you like both, then what the heck are you doing here? Go and give it a listen!

Never played D&D so this podcast was the perfect intro through hilarity and whimsy!

I love everything about this, and I worry about what I have gotten myself into by loving something so completely. I flew through their back catalogue in one weekend and now I have been left on a cliffhanger that won’t resolve itself for another week. I am a child of streaming, I am not used to this discomfort. But someone once told me that to love is the easiest thing to do, and so I will continue to love how GlueBrick can’t quiet remember his own name, how Ghoul doesn’t understand why luring people into the forest and killing them might be bad, fact that Eric the dastardly sorcerer is also a play-write, and the bit were Henley is often just completely nude from the waist down. I’m a big fan of the work Mischief does and I’m really happy that they’ve decided to try this new avenue of creativity. Being entertaining while playing a game that is essentially improve is not easy, but these people are fantastic at it! They have created distinct characters with unique backstories, they are reliably funny, and they are excellent storytellers. I highly recommend you give this a try if you like dnd/improve/mischief theatre, because it’s become one of my new favorites.

    Well, I’m Hooked
I listen to a lot of actual play podcasts and even the best ones start off rough. The players struggle to find their voice, the DM takes a little while to find the flow, and the sound engineering always needs work. Even established, big name groups like Critical Role, Glass Cannon, and The Adventure Zone seem to stumble at the start of new campaigns. I mention this because this podcast doesn’t. Within the first half of the first episode I knew the characters and their basic personality traits and could identify each of them easily. The plot is clear but painted with broad enough strokes that there’s a lot of room to play. The tone took a little longer to come through, but with a simple ring of a bell and the word, “Concierge?” it was made clear. The DM did an excellent job of gently leading the party and once they got their stage legs, they played off of each other quite nicely. The audio production was also done well and not overwhelming. This is only one of a very few podcasts that hooked me episode one. I look forward to hearing more.
