You’re perfect for the new solo show! I loved our episode on food freedom, eating disorders and disordered eating. Thank you for having me as a guest. ❤️

    I’m a hunter!
Sarah is a chimpanzee! This show brings interesting topics and captivating one on one conversations. I really appreciate that Sarah combines her personal and professional experiences to present social science type topics. I also appreciate the show isn’t chaotic…it’s easy to listen to and follow along. Def recommend!!

    LOVE it!
Just wanted to drop a quick note to say I love everything about this podcast - especially Sarah! Kind, hilarious, and insightful. Thanks for being honest and vulnerable with/for us. It’s so helpful to hear that I’m not the only one going through it, or struggling to change patterns and heal

    Silly and enlightening
I mean it’s two therapist not getting paid to give advice. I find it hilarious. Jeff is real and is being vulnerable in a silly human way and Sarah is so relatable in her ADHD and is sensitive. I totally admire these two hooman beans and love their energy. This is a great listen when I work out, yes I’m one of those people!

Could listen to Sarah for hours
Like Brain Candy, I came here for Sarah. Her responses and advice are from a source of empathy and fully informed from her training. She infuses each episode with her lovely and fun personality- she’s the best friend everyone wishes was their own.

    Love the new format!
I’ve really enjoyed the past two episodes with Sarah going solo. Sarah is so open and kind and gives such great advice. Answering listener questions really gives Sarah the opportunity to shine at what she’s best at. I’m looking forward to more episodes.

    Life changing!
Sarah is so talented at what she does. She is playful, fun, smart, and empathetic. I just love listening to her helpful feedback on a variety of relatable topics. I often hear her voice in my head guiding me when I have limiting beliefs or negative self talk. I find myself thinking “what would Sarah say” and it really changes everything!

We all need a little therapy.
Sarah is the response to all those voices in our heads that echo so many questions. Thank you for addressing such a wide range of topics. Each week I leave feeling stronger, more capable and confident in addressing all side quests this crazy world throws at us. Thank you Sarah!

Mostly Love & Learning A Lot
I love the podcast and I’ve learned some things that will be helpful. The only thing that annoys me is the beginning bit where they talk about their lives - I think it goes on too long. And, I really dislike the way they do ads. Ads are important and I get it; but everything sounds like an infomercial and they’re way too hyped up. I get that they like the product but therapy should be evidence based and if you’re promoting collagen can I trust you? Uncommon goods looks like mass produced crap. Maybe just dial down the enthusiasm or have another person read the ad?

    So Grounding!
I love Jeff and Sarah together—both perspectives are so grounding, and they are both so open about sharing some of their own experiences, and how it relates to the concepts discussed in each episode. I have been recommending this podcast to everyone I know in real life—so I might as well write a review. Whether you’re in a relationship or not—or not even looking but just want to learn about things like dealing with grief, or anxiety, etc. I feel very comforted listening to each episode—and a lot of the times there’s something to laugh about.

    Reel it in
I like having two perspectives from the hosts, but when Sarah talks she DRAGS the point out and I completely check out of focus. Like, we get it, and most of the time it’s like she’s not sure what she’s even trying to say but still feels compelled to finish a thought, and doesn’t really get anywhere. She basically repeats what Jeff says in such a monotonous, over-explained way, not to mention all the times she blurts and interrupts when Jeff is making a good point, to which we never get to hear the end of because Sarah starts rambling. I LOVE the content and the concept of the podcast, but if Sarah reeled it in and was more conscious of her thoughts and what she’s trying to say and when (aka not interrupting), it would be a much more enjoyable listening experience.

    Love them both!
I really enjoy this duo. I came here for Jeff, but I stay for Sarah. She’s energetic and her ADHD brain is often asking similar questions as I am. They are my weird, sweet, inquisitive friends that keep me company while I clean my house and my brain. I do wish there was a transition to the ads, like a little bell or something lol. I don’t mind them and they gotta pay their bills in our capitalist hellscape, but I do find them unsettling when they are so seamless. Anyway, this is a relaxing, conversational, and entertaining podcast that supplements my own personal work and therapy. Thanks for the podcast, Sarah and Jeff! Thanks Jeff and Sarah! 💜

    Better than therapy
So I’m in therapy. I’m in couples therapy and personal therapy and this podcast really helps me wrap my head around things I need to consider, goals, self reflection that needs to be done because it’s what is best for me and my relationships. I feel like I’ve grown a ton in just the couple of weeks since I’ve started listening. I’m auadhd and hearing things in this way is super helpful. Glad to be here!!! 5 stars all the way and yay for sponsors cuz FREE!!!!

    Mismatched hosts- Jeff, why?
Jeff and Sarah have very mismatched skillsets. This alchemy is a strange pairing that gives a bit of a yo-yo effect to listeners.
  • paVEme/nt
    Red flags everywhere
This show does have some good content, but Jeff admits. He gives his clients, one advice and friends, the other because he likes drama. That’s a lousy human. And they both also believe in psychics. Not someone I want to confide my emotional problems with. For entertainment purposes only.

I love this podcast so much!
I really really love this podcast. I am always grateful for the approach of Sarah and Jeff to pretty much everything, they’re both amazing therapists and definitely have very different styles which in my opinion is the A+ of this podcasts. Always giving diverse perspectives. I have listened to all, yeah I mean ALL the episodes and I will continue to do so! By the way, all these people putting nasty comments about Sarah, it truly shows you haven’t learned anything. You don’t have to like her but what’s the gain on writing nasty things about her? Anyway would 100% recommend!

    Not a fan of Sarah
    Jeff only, please!

    Frustrating
There is so much great content here but I find Sarah’s loud outbursts very jarring and distracting. Often it seems like Jeff will be on the cusp of delivering great insight only to have her steamroll and interrupt him and that is super frustrating. Jeff does a remarkable job handling it and stays poised and professional but it drives me crazy. I am only a few episodes in so I am hoping she gets better as it goes on.
  • okimhere77
    Disappointed
I started listening to this podcast because I love Jeff and enjoy his Instagram content. However, Sarah is alot to handle, she interrupts the conversation constantly and rambles on about mundane details of her life. I really want to love this show but can’t move past that. Jeff, please do your own show. The ads don’t bother me. I’m not sure why people care so much about that. FAST FORWARD. Lol

    Excellent
Sarah, I also make up songs when I’m excited about something! Thought I was alone in that department. It’s always nice to hear both your thoughts on things! Jeff, great your jokes are great!

Love the content - getting way too many ads
I would 5 star this podcast for content. It’s helpful and informative and I like it a lot. But the ads have been increasing over time and I’m tempted to stop listening because now I’m just being sold to. I get that enough in every other aspect of life. I don’t need it in my podcasts.
  • thatsneat
Topics and advice are sound- Jeff’s co-host is problematic
Too much time goes to co-host talking about herself, her life, her reactions on and on. I’m hoping this improves because podcast has a lot of potential and I love Therapy Jeff’s distilled content.

    Validation completion
Best emotional health podcast ever! So I just started listening to this podcast today. Apparently I’m one week too late because I was at the Postal Service and Death Cab For Cutie concert in Seattle last weekend. I would of died and went to heaven if I could of taken Jeff to the Space Needle and validated his authentic self before the show😋

    Freaking love this podcast
Seriously love this podcast. Great dynamic between Sarah and Jeff. I look forward to hearing it each week. Honestly wish you guys did more than one episode weekly! Such great perspectives and I enjoy that you guys let your personalities shine through, share your tendencies, issues, things you personally need to work on, and things you’ve been through, etc. while helping others through theirs.

    Best podcast
This is the only podcast I’m hooked waiting for their next episode every week. They’re always so insightful. Absolutely my favorite podcast!

    A dynamic duo
I really enjoy listening to this podcast. I feel like Sarah is super vibrant and outgoing, while Jeff brings a level of calmness and chill vibes. I like the topics they discuss, and the view they bring to all of the misc. situations they discuss. A MUST listen

Best Podcast Hosted by Two Wonderful Therapists
I knew about Therapy Jeff from social media so when I found out that he and Sarah had a podcast together, I was so excited. I’ve listened to every episode (minus the current one) and they are all so fantastic. Definitely a breath of fresh air in the podcast world. I always feel like I leave knowing something more whether it be about the world or myself. It’s great to hear their perspectives on things. I’ve suggested this podcast more than any others to friends. Side note: I know some people have complained about the way they do their ads. But the ads are needed to pay for the podcast and for Jeff and Sarah’s time. Maybe a sound or a couple of notes can be added before you go into an ad? Just a suggestion so people know you are going into the ad. This is the one podcast where I don’t mind the ads because it’s personalized and I can tell Jeff and Sarah actually like the products/services they are advertising. Thank you both so much for your hard work. I see it and I appreciate it more than I can express in a review. Thank you for not straying away from the hard topics. Keep up the fantastic work!!

    Please chill with the ads
I get it, sponsors are $, but every ten minutes is so much 🫠

    Commonly Misused therapy terms
Term to coin I’m not antisocial I just want to “lay low tonight” I absolutely love listening to you guys! Thank you so much for all of the great advice. The banter between you two is so engaging.

    Still a great podcast
I’ve been listening to this podcast since around the time they started and, like most people, it took me a minute to adjust to someone other than Jeff since he’s the reason I subscribed. But now I really enjoy both of their insights and love when they have differing opinions. They’re very different from each other and I think it’s not only entertaining but informative as well, as we hear multiple takes on one topic. All that being said, I do agree about the ads. This isn’t a super long podcast but they do seem to have more ads than any other podcast I listen to. I understand that these companies encourage the people they sponsor to do a very natural, conversation-like ad read because that’s what sells more product, but I think there’s a line. I think they can still achieve a good ad read while taking a break to do them and letting the audience know we are about to get ads. This is a more transparent approach and I think it will come off as less sales-y and more honest.
  • BigMike311
    Too many sponsors
I have found the content great but they have reached the tipping point with the amount of time they spend hocking their sponsors. It’s too much. I’m out.
  • cmdeck
Took Sorry, just too much Sarah & not enough substance.
Love Jeff - on TikTok & Instagram. Sorry Jeff, Sarah’s too extra. Update - Sarah always seems to be unprepared, flying by the seat of her pants, struggling to know what to say. It’s a little awkward/uncomfortable.
  • LongtimeListenerNY
Decent content but hosts are hypocritical with ads
I’ve been listening to the podcast since it started. The content is decent, there are some good insights here and there. But one thing turns me off every single time: the ads. The ads interrupt the podcast every 7-8 minutes and last up to 3 minutes. They advertise things as if they recommend them themselves. What’s even more concerning, they keep blaming every other issue in society on “capitalism”, and then shamelessly and capitalistically sell you stuff! Can they really lack self-awareness that much? Probably not, which makes them simply hypocritical. Pandering to the liberal audience while enriching themselves.
  • Tweags
    Two Narcissists Sell Products
I have listened to every single Podcast. This show started out strong and helpful. As it has grown, it’s become an hour of the female host complaining about her life and over sharing and the male host trying to flex while seeming kind of creepy. It’s obvious that they care little about helping people and more about talking about themselves and making money from ads. I swear they have more ads then then the Super Bowl. It’s a shame because I really think they could help people if they would stop talking about themselves for five seconds and give actual advice. I can’t imagine sitting in a therapy session with either of these people. Do better.

    Great podcast
The topics are real and relevant. I’ve been through a couple of breakups recently and played the breakup podcast on repeat. Sometimes, it hard to keep a clear mind in those situations, and Jeff and Sarah’s discussion really helped. I love how these two therapist play off of each other. Their personalities are very different, which makes it so fun to hear about their reactions or thoughts on a topic. Both bring unique and valuable perspectives to the table. Glad Jeff has kept politics out of the podcast, unlike his Instagram. Hope that continues.
  • Chamber132
    Please stop swearing Jeff
This is an interesting podcast! However, I find Jeff’s frequent swearing, in some episodes, to be disrespectful and unprofessional.

    Free Therapy!
Who doesn’t want free therapy? It’s such a pleasure listening in on what sounds like personal conversations between two almost perfect people.
  • LaNoaNoa
Enjoyed it at first but then…
There a few red flags with some of the generalizations made on this show when it comes to relationships. It would be great if they reference more psych research about the topics they target instead of their opinions.
  • Alliegad
    Relatable & sweet
My favorite podcast. I found Therapy Jeff on ig and made my way to his podcast- the hosts do a fantastic job of providing very relatable content in an easy to digest way! They have beautiful attitudes, knowledge and experience towards love and relationships & it is refreshing. Thank you Jeff & Sarah!

Poorly done ads make me question what they say
Really wanted to give 5 stars. Could have given 5 stars, maybe even will one day. But I can’t, today. The ads come in the middle of their conversation and they try to make it sound like it’s a natural segue from the conversation. They’ll be giving advice on important relationship issues and “so it’s really important to show your patter that you respect them, and what else is important is FIXING YOUR THINNING HAIR!” It’s gotten to the point where I have to question *anything* they bring up that is in any way related to a product or service. They broke the trust. It’s also difficult to believe what they’re saying outside of the ad when the content of the ad itself is difficult to believe. Y’all, you haven’t recommended that product to all of your friends and they haven’t all come up to you and said how much they loved it. Some really great advice in the first year or so, but now I can’t tell the difference between the things they’re trying to sell and the advice they’re trying to give.
  • DowntownLeroyBrown
    Good show but…
The large increase of sponsorships/commercials over the past couple months is disappointing. Makes it hard to listen anymore. Maybe put them at the beginning like other podcasts to it’s more listenable. Show is 5 stars but all the ads bring it down to 3.
