I love this show, it has provided a wonderful escape for me this past year. David, Michael and their lovely engineer review the Great British Baking show both past and current seasons. I do wish boys you could show Mary a modicum of grace.

I used to really enjoy this podcast; Michael and David have great chemistry and are entertaining. However, lately, I have been enjoying it less and less. Maybe because GBBO is my comfort show, but I feel like they can be so negative, especially towards Paul and Prue. It’s like everything they do or say has to be criticized as if it is so stupid or rude. And some of the comments they make about the bakers can be harsh as well. I like a good joke as much as the next person, but the vibes seem off lately. It’s lowkey giving snarky, instead of a fun listen about a show so many people love.

Have loved these boys since their own Bake Off series and they do a great lighthearted recap. Highly recommended!

Absolutely lovely podcast that’s super fun to listen to and makes me and my husband happier after every episode. I love the banter between David + Michael (AND ALEX!). It’s also so fun hearing small behind the scenes insights from these two about what it’s like to be on bake-off.

Listen to this podcast before I watch an episode of Bake Off because I enjoy it even more than the show itself?

It’s a given that I enjoy David and Michael’s podcast, and all that they personally bring to the table. I just wanted to comment how much I enjoyed Crystelle this week. I knew from Bake-off, how intelligent and skillful she is, but I was blown away by her insight. She brought a really fresh perspective to this episode, and I really really enjoyed it!

I enjoyed these when they were reviewing current seasons. But I have to say I lost it after David said he doesn’t bathe, wash his hands after he goes to the bathroom and that he stuck his bare bathroom hand into someone’s bathroom face cream. 🤢 It’s all I can think about now when I hear David. I could never eat anything he cooked after this. I also thought he was a healthcare professional. No judgement about David, just my personal preference.

I found this podcast a year ago while 7 months pregnant and it + the dog park were the ONLY things bringing me joy at that time. 1 year later, I’m still here for the banter, the innuendo, the bakes. Thanks for supporting my new-mom sanity, boys.

I am so happy to have discovered this podcast. David and Michael are a bright spot in my week. I really appreciate their insights about baking - it makes watching GBBO more enjoyable - and their enthusiastic dating advice. An odd mix perhaps but lots of fun.

Used to love the pod but I was so upset about the Mexican week recap. There wasn’t a single mention of all the racist jokes and comments about Mexico. Super disappointing.

I loved michael and David on their season of GBBO and I’m obsessed with their recaps. I don’t really listen to podcasts much, but I binged all of their episodes last night and cannot wait for next week’s episode. Love these guys.

Never reviewed a podcast and now I realize it’s because I’ve unconsciously been waiting for this gem of a show. It’s got everything I love: Baking, Brits, wit, and ribaldry. My attraction was instantaneous and my enjoyment so robust that you’ve managed to enhance my viewing of GBBO!
