Shakespeare has nothing on these guys. Truly this is literary genius and literary criticism applied at a high level to the classic American pastime of “trashy” television. Who but J&J could find the higher meaning in an Appalachian love story, or any other ridiculous meet cute. 5 no 10 no 20 stars!!!!

They always say that the book is better than the movie, but I would say that this podcast is better than the movie hands down! Jennifer and Josh do such a great job every episode and I find myself literally laughing out loud every time.

Jennifer and Josh have great chemistry and have a lot of fun recapping your favorite rom coms.

My family LOVES cheesy Christmas movies! Every year, it’s tradition to subscribe to FRNDLY and binge as many as possible for a few months between November and December. We were absolutely delighted to discover Jennifer and Josh. Never taking themselves too seriously, or expecting the movies to be something they’re not. It’s always great to hear others’ thoughts and observations on something we may have missed. Or –spoiler alert!–maybe letting us know that a Christmas movie based around Corgis may not be the best idea so we don’t waste our own time! If you love Christmas movies and having a great time with friends, you’ll want to check out this podcast. I’m giving it 5/5 pieces of gold!

As someone who studied film in college, and even worked at a Hallmark store during the time … I despised this genre of film for many reasons. 1. Cliches 2. Quality 3. Content But man oh man, ever since I started listening to this podcast, I have been obsessed with watching these “cheesy” and “corny” movies. Younger me is so mad!! Josh and Jen do an amazing job. Even the spouses bring fresh perspectives to the conversation. Always looking forward to seeing a new episode drop. Season 1 of many I hope.

Josh and Jennifer are serious about their Christmas movies! And it’s so much fun! Their witty banter about holiday flicks is a must-listen for me each week. Put some snicker in your doodle, some jolly in your holly, and a whole lot of joy in your Christmas. “Do You Watch What I Watch?” I do now!
