Why are ads dropped in in the middle of a conversation. In the middle of a sentence! It sounds like when they play, the show keeps on going so we miss stuff!! I don’t mind ads… but schedule them? Take a scheduled ad break?

The show is fun. But every episode has more and longer ads than the previous. Unnecessary and annoying.

Wizards was my childhood. When I found out about this podcast, I was SO excited. David and Jennifer go through the episodes, talking about their experience filming, answering exclusive questions, all while keeping the conversation humorous and fun! Seriously so nostalgic for me and I love it so much.

Jennifer & David are such lovable and caring people; feels like two good friends just hanging out and you get to be a fly on the wall! So happy this is a podcast!!! Thanks for all the love and laughter Wizards of Waverly Pod <3

Was super excited for this podcast but after listening a quite a while, I just can’t stand how off topic they are. They just talk about random stuff and repeat the same personal stories over and over. They hardly even talk about the episodes. Poor production quality and annoying how Jennifer can’t ever let David finish what he’s saying.

David and Jennifer are endlessly entertaining and hilarious! And just as importantly, they both have great taste in music.

Love them! Such a great podcast!

Been a WOWP fan ever since season 1 and have seen every episode over and over. Great podcast and fun reliving them show. And it’s entertaining!

I’m an only child who was born in 1999 and you guys literally made up my whole childhood. Anytime someone asks me my top 5 Disney shows I always say That’s so Raven, Wizards of Waverly Place, Hanna Montana, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Phil of the Future. This show got me started on podcasts and it’s the first thing I listen to when I get to work. David is such an honest, funny and caring person and has always been my favorite TV dad. Jennifer is such a relatable person and I hope she never changes. Love you guys!

It is ok

First off, LOVE LOVE LOVE Jen & David as a duo!! Watching the show, you wouldn’t put them together but they have such good platonic chemistry and are so interesting to listen to. I love hearing about their shared life experiences and hearing their life after Wizards and how they still are fulfilling their dreams. As a kid, Wizards was my favorite show, so hearing the behind the scenes info is so cool!! Also, as someone who has a background in theatre and dreams of being a professional, I have learned SO much about the whole process! From auditioning to booking to performing, they talk about every step and it is so so cool to hear their perspective on the industry! If I could give this a million stars I would. Jen and DDD I love you. 💗

I’m a long time listener, and it just dawned on me that I’ve never written a review 😐 I’ma be honest, all this podcast has given me is pure nostalgia, hilarious inside commentaries, and the realization I have an obsession with David DeLuise 😹😹 Jen and David do a WONDERFUL job of bringing an old favorite show back to life, and I seriously love that they’re going back through each episode. It’s a lot of fun listening to the friendly, comedic banter while getting to relive the fun that is Wizards ❤️ Keep up the good work, y’all! And keep the jokes comin’ 😜 Please never get rid of “mmmm Disneyyy …” 🐭

I was a big fan growing up and to this day I kept rewatching the series on Disney+. I was so nostalgic, especially because like they mention, this felt like the first real ever “family” show that showed the real dynamic of an everyday family. Adding that I’m also of Latin descent, they incorporate all aspects of their Italian, Mexican, and American cultures so naturally. They people behind the show knew what they were doing and the people putting the show to life excelled. I appreciate that they talk about it to this day, I am now a 24 year old and I’m so psyched to see that they’re also making a sequel and they’re making these podcasts. It makes my heart happy to see that the same people who made this series appreciate it as much as the fans did and do. I can’t wait to see what is to come for Wizards!!!

I start with I love love love the show. I even love when they discuss the rewatch or any other topic . I love hearing their perspectives and jokes and banter. But GOODNESS PLEASE let one another speak. One at a time . Mostly Jennifer interrupts David but it does go both ways. I want to be able to hear their thoughts but they can’t finish them. The episode with Kate flannery was probably the most chaotic with everyone talking at once. No one could get a full thought or sentence out without the hosts hopping in and interrupting . When the medium is audio there has to be a back and forth in the conversation. Not regularly screaming over one another. P.s. I think this comes from a cultural stand point too. My perspective of Interrupting is it is extremely rude and disrespectful no matter the setting, because you are taking someone’s voice and space from the conversation . Apologies if my biases are affecting this review. But it is my observation and opinion .

I was a big Disney fan

I love to listen to this show in between my True Crime podcast binge. It throws be back to my favorite childhood Tv show but through an adult perspective. Jen and David have the cutest chemistry. They do have a tendency to talk over one another or guests, or to get off topic. So if you’re one of those listeners that cant handle that, you might not enjoy this. Overall this is a feel good and easy listen.

Great show love the hosts and love hearing them asking the crystal ball questions and making jokes and David’s “Mm Disney” and intro too

I liked Harpers character in the show but on the pod Jennifer just complains a lot about her experience working for Disney and yet she is making a podcast off of the experience…I have very mixed feelings. The show ended over a decade ago please move on.

Wizards taught me to learn from my mistakes and deal with tough situations, I was born with an intellectual disability and had a hard time understanding how the world works growing up. I’m 23 now and thriving with life. can’t wait to hear the behind the scenes and more.

This is a really great podcast I love listening to there stories and all the bts tea but it’s defiantly worth a listen 👍🏼 great jobs guys

I’m a huge Wizards of Waverly Place fan and a fan of rewatch podcasts of my favorite shows. Unfortunately, this one is chaotic and doesn’t stay on topic of the episode they are supposedly recapping. The episodes where they are interviewing guests are a bit better than than the recaps. They seem unprepared. The production quality is mediocre as well. Then there is the language. This podcast isn’t safe for little ears, nor mine for that matter. I wanted to love it but, after many episodes I had to give it up because it’s just a waste of time.

I love this podcast! It brings back so many good memories of watching the show growing up and as a recent theatre grad it’s nice to know what went on behind the scenes. I love how y’all go back and forth from the show to real life situations it shows you guys are having fun!

I love that Jennifer and David are doing a podcast about my favorite show! I was so excited when I saw the trailer for it!!! I can’t wait for more episodes!!! I have watched this whole series over and over again since the day it aired on Disney channel! I practically have every episode memorized haha!

I love the pod and all the stories they tell. I also love David’s behind the scene facts and tell us how everything works! Keep telling us more facts😊

i really love the energy and premise of this podcast, but it’s pretty difficult to tell where they’re going in the conversation. the podcast ends without me hearing that much about the show they’re supposed to be recapping. i love side tangents & conversations, but they need some more structure.

This pod brings me so much joy, & I was hoping too see in these reviews that it’s doing the same for other people! While the love is definitely there, the amount of complaints about “not a rewatch” & “too much over sharing” blows my mind. I love the dynamic of being able to see Jen & David’s perspective and learning all the behind the scenes tea. I also love hearing their stories unrelated to wizards. I feel like a lot of people wanted a play-by-play breakdown of the episodes, but what this pod gives is so much better. If you want just a rewatch, go rewatch it 🤷🏻‍♀️ 10/10 recommend ❤️

I love wizards so obviously I listen to the pod but it is pretty hard when half of it is just listening to random name-dropping conversations about nothing. I’d be okay with that if it was occasional. I am hoping that by season 2 they will have figured out a structure that works. They recently started giving a summary at the top of the episode and that was a step in the right direction. Also, the episodes with guests were better than just the two of them. I have the same issues with similar rewatch podcasts. They said they can’t use clips of the show for copyright reasons but works of commentary and review are fair use in the US so… I’ll keep listening for now and be hopeful for future better episodes.

I loved ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ when I was a kid. As I am an adult now I see myself watching the show on Disney + now and listening to you guys talk about the behind the scenes of everything it’s funny watching it now as an adult! I love the whole cast and thankful for shows like y’all’s that were in my life!!! ❤️

i grew up watching wizards and when disney plus came out, the first show i watched was wizards and i’ve watched it many times since then and it will never get old!!! i love everything about this podcast and the hosts!!!

I think they’re both great hosts and bring you in with their friendliness. But it’s incredibly weird to claim you’re going to talk about an episode and instead focus on episodes in the future or random stories in the business that do not at ALL apply to the current episode. Even if they at least focused on the season it would be helpful. The point of this being a “rewatch “ podcast is to listen to elements the audience never knew about the episode. I think it loses build up to future episodes because one we maybe especially want to learn about- well now we know we aren’t really going to know anything about the episode unless there are hints dropped somewhere else. Love Jen and David. But please don’t call this a rewatch podcast if you aren’t actually addressing the episode. This is a podcast of two friends talking about the project they loved in random spurts (which is fine and enjoyable)

For a rewatch podcast… there isn’t a lot of rewatch happening so far. Though I enjoy the behind the scenes commentary to one of my favorite childhood shows, I wish Jennifer and David progressed through the rewatch faster. We’ve had something like 10 or so episodes of the podcast and only made it though 6 episodes of the show as of this review. I don’t mind Q&A filler episodes, but at this rate it’ll take years to get through the whole series.

I enjoy maybe some parts of this podcast. It gives so much nostalgia but that’s all it does. There’s way too much interruptions between the two. It makes it quite unenjoyable. There’s no point in having guests if they won’t even let them get a sentence out without interrupting them. If the interrupting were to stop the show would be amazing to listen to. Hope they fix that.

Reminds me so much of my childhood, this was one of my favorite shows and it’s so good to hear the behind the scenes and details about a show that made me who I am.

Grew up watching wizards and was super excited for this to come out especially since I had just started listening to Pod Meets World where they have such a great blend of personal stories and staying on topic. I see a lot of people complaining about the hosts talking over each other which is something I imagine just two people with ADHD (which they both mention having) being in the same room nothing rude about it. HOWEVER it’s driving me insane that they talk about the episode for maybe 5 minutes and then it’s the business, personal lives, memories that don’t have to do with the show. Please just bring in a third person to get them on track. I want to hear about the show. Don’t get me wrong hearing personal stories is great in moderation but seriously out of a 45-50 minute podcast about WOWP only 5 minutes is genuinely spent talking about it.

I grew up watching Wizards and I absolutely love this podcast idea and reliving the childhood nostalgia! I do, however, feel it’s difficult to follow at times with how much they talk over each other and I wish the ads were edited in better. I’m hoping as they find their groove and the podcast gains traction, these things improve! I will definitely keep listening :)

I am enjoying listening since wizards was one of my favorite shows in a very influential pre-middle school time. Both Jennifer and David are genuine, and I think their relationship is sweet. Though I like it, I think the editing could be improved as some portions of the episode repeat about 30 seconds to a minute of a conversation, and from episode to episode, they bring up a lot of the same stories and comments that become less interesting each time we hear them. I like the conversations and getting to know them more, but I also wish they would talk more about the episode content instead of heavily talking about their personal lives and experience in Hollywood, which is not as relatable to most of the audience.

First of all, I discovered Wizards of Waverley Place fairly recently, so new content is super exciting!! Thank you both so much for doing this! I know it must take a ton of time and energy. I see a lot of people saying that you talk over each other and that Miss Stone is “rude.” I would totally disagree. The atmosphere is playful, friendly and relaxed. Because it is chill, it is not a perfect podcast. However, it is super fun to watch on YouTube. I don’t either of you need to change what your doing. It is so special to get to sit in on your fun conversations. Thank you both for doing this! I seriously love it.🤍 As a last note, there is a fair amount of swearing. I don’t mind, it just shows that your having fun, but it might be a good idea to mark it for that so that people know before they turn it on. Over all, it’s not a big deal and I am just so happy to have this podcast!
