This podcast is a must-listen for song-lovers, songwriters, and anyone who gives a dang about art in general. Honestly, I’ve listened to a number of songwriter podcasts that claim to “go deep,” but none of them hold a candle to this one. Muhammad knows how to gently pull a thread of conversation and tease out the larger tapestry. Top-notch listening!

Intimate conversations about songwriting: personal, philosophical, probing, and sometimes political. I love the depth of the questions and the introspective thoughtfulness of the conversations. Each interview thus far has introduced perspectives of art and self that leave me with a greater understanding of the unfolding of songwriting and the songwriter.

I really love the insightful and engaging dives into the art of Songwriting by Muhammed Seven and his guests. He really strikes the perfect balance between education and inspiration. I will be binging all the episodes this week!
