I like the format but I gotta say the obsession with the Great Highway is a head scratcher. The city has *a lot* of really big difficult issues and a road closure is so far down the list it really shouldn’t even be on the list. We have to revitalize this city and restore its reputation. WHO CARES ABOUT SOME DUMB ROAD. You seem like a reasonable guy, maybe put some perspective into what you cover? In 30 years, will anyone care about an argument over this road? Of course not, they’ll care about the choices the city made to get it back to its old glory (or the mistakes they made to prevent that). You have a great voice, use it for topics that matter.

Great show John! Keep up the good work!! You are spot on about keeping the Great Highway open. 17,000 to 20,000 cars a day use the highway. The city officials supporting the closure need to be voted out!

I frequently listened to your show on KGO when commuting home and was extremely disappointed when they changed formats. You’ve were always fair to your callers and a reasonable voice in SF Bay Area talk radio.
