    I love this program
I’ve been listening to The People’s Pharmacy on WUSF for many years and just discovered that it’s on podcasts I can access on my phone ! I have recommended the show to many friends and have learned helpful & interesting information about health. What I find most compelling in the information is that the answers aren’t always “take this pharmaceutical.” Thank you & I hope your program continues for many years to come. You provide a great public service.

    Self Absorbed and Obnoxious
Joe and Terry are highly devoted to talking excessively about themselves. It’s obnoxious and tedious since they’re not as interesting as they seem to think they are. But the most grating thing they do is their frequent lapse into “baby voice.” Yuck ! Adults should never use cutsie baby talk and baby voice. It’s disgusting. They also recently claimed that an I-Watch couldn’t possibly be dangerous to wear because, well, Joe wears one and he’s careful. How dumb ! What a non sequitur. Apple watches are made and assembled in China for mass consumption : who knows what’s in those chemical components that are affixed to one's wrist all day. Because he wears one doesn’t mean they’re safe. Stop disseminating false assertions as if they’re proven facts.

Great info, but I rarely listen anymore.
Many of their guests are people who I definitely want to hear. But the many, many times they repeat the teasers and go on at length about guests’ resumes, leaves me totally frustrated at the amount of time wasted during an interview. I quit listening to them because of this.

    Almost part of the family
My wife and I have been listening to the people’s family for years while living in North Carolina. Thanks to the portability of podcasts we have continued to enjoy them from anywhere. With time I’ve learn to follow their advice to be respectful of all drugs and especially not getting too casual about over-the-counter drugs. Keep up the good work. We look forward to show number 2000 and beyond!

    Excellent
The Graedons, Anthropologist Terry and Pharmacist Joe, are a talented duo who present medical information in conjunction with a guest, usually a medical doctor who is invited to the conversation. Full of humor and reflection and always very informative

    Very useful info, but...
Very useful- discussions with experts in their fields on subject concerning everyday health. I’ve learned much that I apply, often on a daily basis. But, FRUSTRATING that it takes Joel forever to get out a question, going on needlessly with details that are obvious or were even just discussed. It’s like he’s trying to fill in time, which is also the impression from so many re-introductions with long titles. That said, I grin and bear it, or grimace; it’s usually worth it.

Podcast is even better than the radio show
I’ve been a somewhat regular radio show listener but listened to the Dr Li podcast today. It was even better. I had listened to the radio show on this episode but learned even more. Great job. Kudos to the team and thank you.

    Terrific podcast
What wonderful people you are, Joe and Terry Graedon. Your easy-going style, unbiased, and knowledgeable contribution to genuinely useful healthcare is a breath of fresh air. You have excellent guests and ask the kinds of questions that can help all those concerned with increasing their health span (patients, physicians, and all points between and beyond!) understand some of the best ways to do so. Of particular interest are shows dealing with getting people off drugs rather than on them, building in exercise and good foods.

    People’s Pharmacy Podcast
Wouldn’t miss an episode! If I have a question about how to treat something homeopathically, their broadcast is the first thing I google. Simple, safe, sage (no pun intended) advice always. Can’t wait for Monday to download a new podcast. You won’t be disappointed!

Love this always have since before the pod cast, but what happened to the Health News headlines? That’s the only reason I didn’t hit the fifth star.

    Love Tim Keller!
Love his ability to unpack nuanced scripture. Love his wisdom. Hate the interruption when the lady breaks into the middle of his sermons selling and promoting. And the acoustic noise that introduces it is so disharmonious that it has to be turned down. Please get the NY out of the middle of his sermons. Please.

    Great Practical Health Information
I have been listening to Joe and Terry since they started their radio show on WUNC. I have learned so much over the years! I’ve bought their books for myself and family members. They are great and I appreciate the help and support they’ve provided to the public and continue to provide.

    Helpful and trustworthy podcast
Over the years I have learned so many practical, easy tips and tricks for everyday health issues, as well as where to be wary with common medications, that I am truly grateful for this show, and for the newsletter. The Graedons really research their topics, and have top-notch guests who look at their subject matter at all sides. I am so glad that these conversations are available to all people.

    Such great useful info
Always a riveting show in an easy to listen to format. Joe and Terry bring the latest alternative research to our attention week after week year after year. So glad to find them on podcasts because our local NPR has them on at 7:30 am on Saturday. I frequently miss them at that time so wonderful to have other options.

    30 Year Listener & 30 Year Fan
“The People’s Pharmacy”- it’s been my go to show for 30 years. There’s no other place with more honest, objective, valuable advice about health issues. Constipation worried me for years. Their advice to get more magnesium in my diet instantly fixed the problem. For serious health issues, like cancer, heart problems or diabetes, this podcast is the only place to go for advice from the best world experts about what works, and ways to avoid those health issues if you’re healthy and want to stay healthy. I’m enriched and thankful because Terry and Joe ask all the right questions, and I understand the answers. The home remedies are effective, cheap and simple. I urge all my friends to download this podcast and listen carefully.

I’ve become addicted to their show
I’d known of the show for years and had just dismissed it as too “alternative” for me. But then I heard a couple of shows while traveling a few months ago and am now hooked. I listened to 2 podcasts while making a 3 Hour drive today. Great topics and guests and well produced. Highly recommended if interested in personal health topics.
