Best Vikings podcast out there. I've listened to them all and this is by far the best. Joeys a true fan.

Been listening to Purple Mafia since as long as I can remember , what a fantastic show. So different from the canned run of the mill politically correct media junk. Joey just does his thing and tells it like he see's it.

I've often said that we Vikings fans don't have enough avenues to listen about our favorite team. That being said, while I tried a few times to get into this podcast I just couldn't do it. I just don't think the host and his guests know much about the Vikings, or football in general. He laughs at himself in a nervous way that is highly distracting and I wish I could get into it but I sadly couldn't. The search continues...

Great job I enjoyed the show!

At first I wasn't crazy about Joey's style, but I now thoroughly enjoy the show. While I love the show sometimes the sound effects are a tad cheesy, but definitely more tolerable than a Brad Childress press conference. Joey Awaijane does a pretty good job on the show, keep it up and skol Vikings!

If you are a fan of the Minnesota Vikings then get signed up with the Purple Mafia! Joey (The show host) takes time not only to review the games or make seasoned predictions but lets his listeners get involved. Its fun and funny! Knowledgable but easy listening. This is the show where Viking TALK is on target. No hype, no kool-aid drinking, just the facts.

First off even though I'm a bears fan I have to say your show is really good. Maybe next year the Vikes will have a better season for ya to work with.

what gives? Missed one game against the Lions even though it's not much of a game,but i hope something comes on for the Seattle game.Even 5 or 10 minutes would be appreciated.Don't worry i'm not Bail'n because of this.

Thanks a million. With the job I can't keep up with all the Vikes news. You do. And you are getting better every week. Great breakdowns and analysis. One complaint - I don't think a viking would say "AHOY, AHOY." I think you need an "AAARGHH" in there or something.

The guy is amazing. He knows what he is talking about and very in depth.

Just listened to the snoozefest episode and it was appropriately titled. Joey just went through the game stats and said "bit" a lot. Did not seem to be organized at all and did not have a good "podcast voice." Will find another Vikings podcast.

Joey man you do a great job with this show.I really love listining to your break-downs and how you see the team.This show is just going to be better and better and I;m really looking for it.Oh and one last thing..Don't listen to the HATERS reviews.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse...in the most recent podcast, "Farve Jet-isoned..." he reads us the box scores of the Vikes first preseason game because he could only catch some of it on the radio and couldn't watch it because he had to work. I agree, invest in a DVR. In the middle of this "in-depth analysis" he finds that "A. Young" had a good game. He admits to having no clue that this is Albert Young, running back and undrafted rookie from the Iowa Hawkeyes who is trying to make the team. Then, he mispronounces Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte ("For-tay" not "Fort") and says "funner" instead of "more fun." To cap it all off, the past 2 episodes he has given us the results to his online polls about the Vikings, in which the winners were decided by 3 and 2 votes respectively. Shouldn't this be a little higher before you give it some weight and announce it on your show? I gave him a chance but this guy and his podcast are both a joke.

This show is very in depth and energetic. Adds an entertainment aspect to sports podcasting with good sense of humor. Well worth listening to.

I thought a podcast about the Vikings would be hard to screw up, but this one is simply not worth listening to. It sounds like a guy sitting next to you at work reading stats out of the newspaper. I couldn't figure out why this guy's "break-down" of the Vikings first pre-season game was so boring, until he finally 'fessed up to only catching "part of the game" because he had to work Friday night. Why even do the show if you didn't watch the game? I'd love to see this podcast get better since the subject matter is great. Talk about what Peterson eats for breakfast and I'll be happy. Also, please get a DVR.

Joey does a great job breaking down the MN Vikings. He will be great this season giving his inputs on the vikings just like he has with Paladino Live!
