I adore Holly and Tracy; the information they share is well-researched and presented in a fantastic way. They have integrity and in the *very rare* time they make a mistake, they will correct themselves asap. I love that they dive into lesser known historical people and events- giving a voice and recognition to those who were previously under appreciated. I have learned so much from this pod and am so thankful for it. I highly recommend!!

As an avid lover of history and unusual information, this podcast seems perfect to me. The hosts are well spoken, respectful about the subjects yet fun and charming too.

I really love this show and enjoy the current hosts. That said, the commercial to content ratio has become ridiculous. It seems the content has become shorter, while commercial time has become longer. Disappointing.

Pretty much what the title says: the program is fun and informative, but the ad breaks go on forever! Half the podcast seems to be ads for other podcasts. Otherwise, very positive

I have listened to this podcast since before Holly and Tracy took it over. They do an incredible job of fleshing out the nuances of people, and events that shape history. Family friendly with a delightful sense of humor. I ceaselessly recommend this podcast to family and friends. They are fantastic live as well!

I love this show, the hosts are fantastic, it’s great to hear these overviews of topics that often don’t get mentioned in a typical history class, but I absolutely have to dock some points for the current ad situation. Some ads are necessary of course, but right now we’re listening to a 40-50 minute episode and 15-20 of it is ad copy, sometimes the same ad twice in a row. It’s too much.

I've tried to ignore the bad reviews and give the current hosts the benefit of the doubt, but they're just terrible, especially Holly. The only way I can keep listening to this podcast is to go back and listen to old episodes with different hosts. I don't agree with sexist "vocal fry" comments, but Holly's nervous snorting giggle fits are unpleasant and distracting. The noise can only be described as a "chortle" and most of the time I don't understand why she's doing that. Add the fact that Holly takes every opportunity to announce how she doesn't care for children and loves cats, she's the sterotypical annoying hipster. It's unbelievable to me the current hosts still have their jobs. They're just terrible.

The hosts do a great job making history interesting and accessible. Keep up the wonderful work!

I understand some ads are necessary for a free podcast. But this show has so many ads it’s egregious. This show and the hosts are not nearly interesting enough to sit through so many ads. Again: I don’t mind ads on a free program; there are SO MANY ads here it’s just gross. And greedy.

As someone who loves to learn and would drink knowledge, if she could, this podcast is perfect! Thank you for giving me stuff to think about and look into!

I actually hated history in school. It was so dry. I love how these stories to a deep dive into something specific. I love the hosts and I learn so much! Thank you for this podcast. I recommend it to everyone.

Giggle snort ladies might be fun in real life, but annoying as hosts.

These people either don’t do proper research (they are useful idiots) or they are intentionally leaving out key facts and lying about history to further a dishonest left-wing agenda. This is not real history. It’s lazy, dishonest, and untrustworthy.

How do two women have EXACTLY the same voice?? I can literally never tell who is talking. Could 100% be someone talking to herself

The podcast had potential, but the hosts are annoying, not very knowledgeable, and biased. The ads are numerous. Ugh.

A lot of people are bent out of shape about the hosts, but I’ve been listening to the Holly and Tracy episodes for years now and they do a great job at telling a story to a point where you can have a mental image playing along with the podcast. The topics are great and Holly and Tracy’s episodes are much longer in length than the early episodes which I feel makes it more comprehensive. They also connect historical figures to other episodes which is a nice added touch. They cover any history, not leaving out any topic due to bias which is hard to find. If people find them annoying they should go listen to a red pill podcast or some other rage bait that would make them feel more comfortable being miserable about small things all the time.

Take this with a grain of salt. They are funny and they help explain history in a more relaxed way than the school environment.they respect Alana people (African American Latina Americans Native Americans )

I have been listening to this podcast and the hosts for years and I always enjoy it. Sometimes I’m not too interested in the subject but it’s usually a 90-10 ratio so I’m not going to complain at all.

Don’t know why people are so mad about the hosts prob cus they are women, nothing is wrong with them they are speaking their mind and their super good so be quiet if ur being rude

I’ve been listening to this show for years, and it lives up to its name. I’ve learned so much about history that I definitely didn’t learn in school! However, there are just sooo many ads that it makes it difficult to really dig into any given topic. I understand that ads are necessary for making this show happen, but the amount of ads is just too, too much. Some of the ads are super loud and annoying as well, and it totally takes me out of the story. Overall, the ads are interfering with the show’s quality and I wish there were fewer ad breaks.

Listen to every podcast. Respect the research and thoughtfulness of each episode. Thanks for what you do!

This is one of my go-to all around favorite podcasts in terms of content, delivery, and hosts. I love the chemistry that Holly and Tracy have and the way they present information.

This podcast has stood the test of time. Throughout different hosts and several years, Missed in History has been in my Library the longest. The topics are so varied, the conversations congenial and thoughtful. They’re very well researched and respectfully presented. Yes, the ads seem to be prolific that previously but I endure them because these ladies are always going to broaden my knowledge. Update: the percentage of adds to actual podcast, has increased to a level that I can no longer endure. This was my favorite podcast for years, the content and various hosts have all been fascinating, but the constant interruptions are too annoying.

Good subject matter but the hosts make me feel like I’m listening to an NPR knockoff. U haven’t been able to get through an entire episode yet.

I love this podcast but my interest in listening to this podcast has diminished so much these past few years because there are now so many ads and trailers. The actual content feels so much shorter now. I still love the hosts but wish there were fewer trailers.

Always amazing and entertaining deep dives into history. I love how they being historical people and events into focus with in depth background and historical context.
