ConcreteLionEntertaining + InformativeFun and interesting podcast even for the casual listener. (You don’t need an MBA!) Dan and the gang are both well-spoken and well-informed.

homsic4phProps to Dan and IanI’ve been listening for years. They helped me to be inspired to start a business, took their advice on running the biz and still listening after I sold my business. So much value.
-
ASoberingSuch a wealth of knowledge! 🧠This is one of the most insightful podcasts that I have ever come across! Dan and Ian do such a great job of sharing their wisdom and I love how they lead meaningful conversations with guests who bring so much experience to the table. Highly recommend checking this show out - you won’t be disappointed!
-
elllo toddReal and RefreshingThis podcast shines over most because the hosts, Dan and Ian, obviously care about the audience and always deliver interesting and insightful content that engages listeners, while never being pretentious or preachy.

Brando5This podcast is the one I’d listen to if I could only choose one. This podcast is the one I’d listen to if I could only choose one. For location independent thinkers: the variety, the depth, and the insightfulness is remarkable; and it only gets better every year I have has listened (which is since 2013). I listen to about 25 podcasts a week. This one is where I feel at home.

SamLytleAs Real As It GetsI've been listening to TMBA for the better part of a decade and it's been the voice in my head that's helped me start and grow a business bigger than myself. The concepts they throw out themselves or via guests on the pod make me challenge my own beliefs and they also are open about their own successes and failures. What Dan and Ian have grown is bigger than this podcast. I'm feeling guilty it's taken me so long to write a review after all they've given me through the podcast so don't be like me! Listen to the pod and write a review ASAP.
-
brookechristinaskincareAwesome podcastLove in the latest podcast- The Brenwall Code - Mark Brenwall is such a great example of honesty and openness about his journey in his personal life and business. I look forward to hearing more humble and informative interviews about how other people think outside the box.

TreatyoSelfBooDown to earth MBASo happy I stumbled onto this podcast! Not only does it highlight entrepreneurship success stories (and step by step on how they went about getting there), the lessons almost always apply to personal finance as well. Listening to just one episode alone got me thinking about changes I’ll be making with my own Etsy page and personal finances. The hosts also do a great job of asking the right questions of their guests and stepping out of the way to allow them to answer in detail. Another thing worth noting is that the format of the show is very down to earth and accessible. Learning a lot! Subbed!
-
Brooke CravenAwesome Show!!Dan & Ian, hosts of The Tropical MBA Podcast, highlights all aspects of entrepreneurship, business and more in this can’t miss podcast! The hosts and expert guests offer insightful advice and information that is helpful to anyone that listens!

Brennan ValeskiHad to leave a reviewHeard on the latest pod that you hadn’t had a fresh review for 6 months so I figured I’d drop one by! New listener here, heard about you guys from Authority Hacker, Empire Flippers, and Niche Pursuits. Excellent content, I really enjoy hearing about location independent businesses from a more broad level for the mentality, management, and life perspective. One last bit - age is a virtue on your pod! That comes with more experience and more value. I’m 21 and it’s excellent to hear from guys in their 30’s and 40’s since you’ve got real responsibilities like kids to take care of. It gives an extra layer of importance to stability and how you build a business.
-
nlightmeBest Podcast on iTunesI love this podcast. These guys are so awesome. They hit all the points that I find relevant. The interviews are my favorite because they ask the best questions. If you are an entrepreneur or looking for the help please listen to this podcast.

Thannon10Real World PodcastWhen I stumbled across the podcast I had actually heard Dan Andrews talking about the book before the Exit. I have lived through a dozen exits and I found the his interview so refreshing. He discussed the real result of selling your business. Since I heard that podcast I have listened to 2 dozen more and they are valuable, real world podcasts delivering content that relates to your business. There is not much fluff here in a world full of it. this is a must listen for people who want to get into business or in are business.
-
Matt JavitInsightful, fun, and valuable!!Love the information that is shared on TMBA. As a current world traveler attempting to make a business online, they have helped move me in the right direction and give me creative ideas to consider on my path. The book reveiws, crypto currency information, insights into digital nomadism, details on drop shipping, and thoughts on world travel have all been told in inspiring and entertaining ways. Thank for you the continuing value!
-
cnaccioQuality Podcast. Very Well Produced! This is a very high quality Podcast. After just a few episodes, you get the sense that these guys are intelligent and are the real deal. Thanks for putting out such great content!

Get Clients NowInformation You Can Immediately Monetize!I've only listend to four shows so far, but episode 390 with John Logar was one of the best I've ever heard. I'm the host of one of the fastest growing podcasts (marketing/copywriting) on iTunes in 2017 ...and these guys have set the standard for what a GREAT Podcast is supposed to be. If you're a business owner, a sales professional ...heck ...if you're anyone who wants to learn how to get more clients and sell more of your stuff... this show sets the standard by which all others (including my own) will be judged. Thank you guys for such an awesome (jam-packed with value) podcast.

jimbrown82Changed the trajectory of my life... seriously!I've been pretty fortunate in my career having lead a company from $1M to more than $11M in two years and building another sales team that was acquired by Oracle for multiple eight-figures. However, it was after that I raised and subsequently lost $1M of other peoples money. As I tried to figure out how to pick up the pieces, I stumbled upon Dan and Ian's show and this new idea of "location independence" just hit me square in the face. It was what I'd been wanting for a while, I just didn't know it was a thing... now I know there's a whole community built around it!

E_listenerTravel + BusinessGreat combo of business, travel, entrepreneurship, and much more. Great stuff!
-
stephenheinerA pod that has grown just as the hosts haveThese guys have been taking us on their journey for years and it's been a pleasure to be part of the Dynamite Circle and also to watch them grow as business owners. It challenges all of us.
-
KarileedExcellent Podcast!Dan and Ian - what a great combo! This podcast is fun, full of great information and very entertaining. Keep up the great work!

PosworkspaceDunc’d On BasketballEntertaining conversations with interesting guests. Fantastic interview flow and energy!

cambenoitLove these guys!!I've been listening to TMBA for as long as I've been listening to podcasts. In fact, it may have been THIS podcast that turned me on (got me addicted) to podcasting! The topics and the guests vary from "location independent entrepreneurship" to total "geek out" episodes where they talk about tactical down and dirty nitty gritty tools and techniques. Which is cool... I never know what I'm going to learn, but they always make what ever I'm learning about fun and engaging. They are my go-to geek out pals... Okay, I don't know them in real life YET, but I sincerely think that if we were to meet, we WOULD be insta-friends and have the kind of amazing, enlightening, and fun conversation I tune in to hear to every week on their show. Keep up the good work, guys!
-
Adithya Murali00Actionable and motivationalIt's not jut the actionable nature of the content Dan and Ian push out every week (I frankly don't know how they manage to push out such good content every week), it's the motivational nature of the podcasts that I dig. They interview CEO's, experts and master marketers, discuss business and entrepreneurship in highly engaging and interesting episodes. Whichever stage of entrepreneurship you're in, this podcast is a msut listen!
-
CaraF13Golden Nugget Tips!Great show! I truly appreciated the Golden nugget tips that kept being given during the show. To highlight my favorite one is: the power of mindset! Thanks for interviewing guests who are shining examples of with a determined mindset you can and will move forward towards your goals!
-
bennylopeInteresting and well executedI started listening because I was interested in episode 325 with Venkat Rao. I expected Venkat's side of the interview to be interesting but I was surpised and impressed with Dan's side - too many hosts spend too much time talking, leading the guest, belaboring their own points, and instead his questions and asides gave a foundation and structure that actually added something. The other episodes I've listened to since have been similarly well done, interesting and educational, but the episode with Venkat is a clinic in how to plan, conduct, and edit a podcast.
-
ryannagyA good way to keep focused and motivated. This podcast is a great resource if you have already made the switch and have, or are developing, a location-independent business. I am an American who lives in Mexico and has a successful online business and several passive income streams. Even so, I find that I need (yes, need) to listen to TropicalMBA to stay current with what is going on in the community and to stay on top of my game. This podcast is a fantastic resource.

Amy AmmenOnly way to liveHave followed the Tropical MBA for quite some time. Always genuine and so helpful. I retired at 50, only do things that are fulfilling, and Mr Mustache (who I wasn’t familiar w/ b/f listening) speaks the truth -- pare down expenses and maximize experience to reduce stress and increase engagement in stuff that truly matters. FroldtOnly listen if you want to be inspired to build a location-independent business!Dan and Ian do a great job of sharing inspiration and actionable advice for building a business of your own, whether selling physical or digital products or services. Not only is the information helpful, but they present it in an enjoyable, informal style that is easy to listen to. Additionally, you can tell that they are really enjoying themselves while talking with each other (and recording it) and that enthusiasm helps keep me inspired and coming back for every new episode! This podcast is part of my virtual mastermind as I am leveling up my life and building a business.
-
Abraham LevitanLove ya dudesThanks for providing lots of value, and for making me rethink my own business model on a regular basis. You are disrupters in the best sense. The show is super well-produced and well-edited as well, and that certainly stands out in the podcast-verse.
-
Sean.MarshallThese Guys Are For RealI own a location independent business. I have for over 5 years. I've lived in Mexico, Spain, Scotland, England, Italy, and of course my home in Southern California. I owe a TON to these guys Dan and Ian. They also have their own businesses and teach in a conversational but potent way. I'm not big on listening to podcasts but every episode these guys put out gets sent to my phone for the 'ol morning walk/podcast time. Thank you Tropical MBA for the good stuff!
-
n8billsThe Value Bombs Never StopJust when you think Dan and Ian are going to run out of good stuff they blow it up by taking things to the next level. Without a doubt this is the most valuable info on itunes. These guys don't sugar coat, they don't dumb it down, and they shoot straight. They keep it real and just continue to be awesome. Over the years this podcast has delivered exponentially more detailed business info than a Harvard MBA ever could.
-
Hoffstadt FamilyGreat education for engineersI'm moving my technical career into the digital age and helping other people do the same. This podcast has given me a great education and I regularly reference or promote it on my blog, Engineer Your Innovation. Thanks for the super quality and content!

Dye JuniorAddictedI've been bingeing on this podcast for about three weeks now and I can't quit. It never fails to get my mind racing. Thanks, guys.

AppleoneusmonkMy Favorite PodcastI discovered The Tropical MBA podcast a few months ago and have become an avid listener. Dan and Ian are both extremely knowledgable in the areas of entrepreneurship and location independent business. They dig deep into the subject matter of each podcast, and bring a fresh perspective on the state of the digital nomad lifestyle. I look forward to starting my own online business soon, and one day, hopefully, joining their Diamond Circle!
-
akaWookFinally got to check out the clunky iTunes interface.Just finished listening to all 292 episodes and Dan & Ian are the boss they don’t ramble like others, they get right down to the meat and potatoes. They gave me the impulse to keep listening every day at my dead end job and after roughly 225 hours of listening and 19 pages of notes later I’ve completed the TMBAthlon. Thanks guys for all you do and all the motivation. I can’t wait to start my own business and say Hasta la vista to “the man”. Nick

natesmithnyThe only biz podcast I recommend to friends not interested in businessThese guys have a unique ability to captivate just with the way their brains work, an ability they share with a small handful of podcasters full-stop, and a vanishingly small number (Seth Godin?) in the business space. If you're new to TMBA, the first things you'll notice after the awesome theme music are the lack of guests pedaling their products and the feeling that you awoke from a nap and discovered it's 2015 when you thought it was only 2009. That's because most of the most popular business podcasts devote most of their airtime to selling influence to a constantly recycling handful of lifestyle coaches with their own courses or membership sites to shill, all of whom go on each other's podcasts constantly. The reason you won't hear about ten true clients, the rise of productized services, starting from established cashflows instead of hobby blogs, and the primacy of owner-absentee businesses anywhere else is that all the other podcasts want to talk about Adsense sites, clickbank, e-books, and affiliate commissions because the guests make money teaching people how to make money from those decidedly 2009 cash flows. Listen to every episode of TMBA back-to-back and a fuller, realer picture emerges, full of characters like Hot Money, the Dominator, Boss Man, and Keyser Soze, and many others who, despite sounding like batman villains, are doing it For Real and not just trying to sell you their course.
-
Andrew743Long overdueWarning: This podcast will alter the course of your life. If you're not interested, don't listen. Dan & Ian bring it every week. They're just a couple of guys offering great advice on building a business and making conscious life decisions.
-
Road warrior listenerWhere’s the Beer Donation Button?Guys, Of course I don’t have to tell you how much the show rocks, but I will anyways. Love to hear the practical, inspiring, and motivational talks every week. Even the episodes when Ian isn’t too busy being the “Boss Man” to make it on the show. Keep hustling! -Craig
-
joesideasawezzzzomeI just discovered these guys a couple months ago, and get stoked on every episode! They keep it brief and packed with nugs, perfect for a listen during breakfast and coffee.
-
trg2SFStupid GoodThese two homies are BOSS HOG GANGSTAS. Ian and Dan are as real as the streets. I find myself consistently nodding my head and agreeing with everything they're saying. The way they approach business, and life in general, is aggressive, contrarian, and pragmatic as hell. 5-stars for days - keep it up fellas. Tommy G

If you were a fan of 1 & 2 thiPassion Passion PassionI started listening to these guys based on some indirect guidance to a friend and it has started to change my life. Dan and Ian are two stellar individuals that took me from constantly thinking and seeing ways to start businesses to finally giving me the inspiration to do it. There are many times while listening that the ah ha light bulb comes on because of the pure amount of good first hand info these guys dish out. Its not just the get up and do something info, its the actually tools and tips that somebody starting out has no idea about. I started listening to them from podcast 1 and have listen to these guys evolve to where they have come today and look forward to meeting them one of these days. Dan and Ian CHEERS!!!

Anna WickhamDon’t listen to this if you want your life to stay the same! This podcast should come with a disclaimer: listening is going to change your life, so think about it before you get started. If you aren't ready for a real paradigm shift that changes your career and life forever, then maybe you should stick with a different podcast. When I started listening to TMBA, I was staring down a career path that I didn’t want to go down wondering if this is what I’d worked all those years in school toward. Now, I’m literally sipping from a coconut and admiring a beautiful tropical sunset. But I’m not the only one— countless other listeners would say the same! Listening to this podcast will make you far more equipped to run a business and increase your chances of succeeding. Can’t wait for the podcast to come out each week! Keep it up, Dan and Ian!

AllenUSA12345The Kings of EntrepreneurshipIf you call yourself an entrepreneur (or even a wantrapreneur) and you aren’t listening to this podcast, you are straight up playing yourself. For years, I’ve struggled alone. None of my friends are interested in business, and they sure as heck don’t want me to mention that name ‘Tim Ferriss’ ever again. One day on Twitter, I stumbled across Dan’s twitter account and figured he was another lifestyle business wannabe, riding the 4HWW wave. I listened to an episode of the podcast and immediately realized Tropical MBA is no joke. Hearing them talk business felt like being a unicorn, sliding down a rainbow and into a pot of gold. Dan and Ian are proven masters of entrepreneurship, and drop expert knowledge so fast that you’ll need to listen to each episode multiple times before it hits you. Where Tim Ferriss left off the 4HWW and pretty much abandoned entirely 7 years ago, Tropical MBA has picked up knocked it out the park. If you listen to this podcast, you’ll be a massive step ahead of the game and ready to lead a rich life.
-
AbakadabraFavorite podcast!Love these guys. Been listening to almost 100 episodes biking to and from my corporate job. These guys know what they are talking about, and keep reminding me why I studied entrepreneurship. It is like the best refresher course ever! Honorary PhD to Dan and Ian! I finally quit my job, and will be meeting up with my co-founder Christoffer in Bali in mid September! Time to get real. --Tom
