    Love my new best friend(s)
I just discovered Alison from another podcast & have been listening almost non stop since. The conversational style of the podcast feels so real like I’m sitting down with my friends and catching up each time. I’ve had to go back to see how Alison & Daniel got here.

    Daniel is a sellout
I do love your show, but Daniel discovered you just like most of us did on the super right Adam Carolla Show. I'm serious, your husband should take a deep breath, and center himself a bit.

I took about a year off from this podcast. Not much different. Unhinged political rants. And there’s not a single sponsor. This is what a dying podcast looks like.

    Tipping episode
…jesus, you both had a few episodes where it sounded like you had worked through a lot of your stuff and daniel was kind speaking but this ep was complete gaslighting by danirl. Ouch

    Love the show
Been listening basically all my life. Also, Daniel, no one cares about your politics, it truly grates. The inception of AIRYNBF is precisely the zany stuff Alison discusses, not whatever garbage is from twitter. You come off as an arrogant straight white man despite your softness, and you make mean “jokes” at Alison’s expense, and you say the c word a lot. It’s painful to hear your input.

Maybe Daniel should have his own podcast
I am a long time listener from back when Jenna was a frequent guest. I enjoyed Alison when she was on ACS. As the years have gone by the quality of the show has gone down. I enjoy Daniel when he is part of the show along with Tony and other regulars but this show with Daniel ranting about politics was quite unpleasant. Obviously this is Alison’s show to do with what she wants but if this type of show continues, I will have to find something else to listen to. Hey hey hey go f myself.

    Alison and Daniel slay me.
I adore this show, especially the Alison and Daniel episodes. The conversations are disarming and funny.

    Love this show!
Alison keeps it real. The Monday Alison and Daniel shows are some of my favorites and I like catching up with the rotating panel guests. I love that they talk about everything. The deep, and sometimes heavy parts of life, the silly stuff, and the everyday life stuff. JMOE: When Daniel says nobody wants to hear this, I’m thinking—me!! I want to hear it! Keep going!

Give us what we want, not vagina parts 😩
You guys. I want to hear about your Japan trip in EVERY DETAIL. Not 10-15 minutes of rambling where you make Daniel tell the parts of the vagina. And then talk of words and SATs. I’m sad.

    Alison Just Gets Me
I discovered Alison on another podcast that she co-hosted. I stopped listening to that other show the day she left and haven’t looked back. I relate to Alison on so many levels and I really get her humor. This podcast brightens my life and makes me laugh out loud even in the worst traffic. Alison is a talented interviewer who really gets into the soul of her Monday show guests. Husband Daniel gives the his mostly rational and hysterical views which I often agree with as well. The rotating Thursday gang has been super fun since the beginning. Love you!

    Best Show Ever!
I love listening to this podcast! Alison is relatable, entertaining and intelligent. I have especially been enjoying the shows with just Alison and Daniel. Their banter is endearing and never fails to make me laugh out loud. Your fan, Amanda Brown

    unlikely fan
When AR replaced Teresa Strasser at The Former Employer- I breathed a sigh of relief. While not trying to be her, she and Teresa reminded me of each one another with their dry liberal wit, laced with secular Jewishness. But I never saw myself becoming a ‘follower’. When I heard about the ARIYNBF podcast, I checked it out, but sorry- I just didn’t see butter sandwiches and shower traveling as fascinating as some. However, in January 2015, like many, I was blind-sided by the sudden dismissal of the best part of Former Employer’s podcast, and at this point I gave ARIYNBF a new try. Those early days were fascinating, and soon I was hooked. While making above average discussion about the banal I love all the members of the Thursday crew, yet pine especially hard for Greg. But the real magic occurs when all six are together. I’m crestfallen when Greg is on a fishing trip or Jenna and Al have trekked back to Mormon country. My week is substantially brightened on Monday and Thursday mornings. And bonus - it’s nice to see a female ranking high in the comedy podcasts in that otherwise sausage-dominated genre.

    Always a Great Listen
I can genuinely say that Alison Rosen directly improves at least two days out of every five day work week, and that’s frankly a better track record than many of the best friends I’ve had throughout my life. Whether she’s insightfully interviewing guests from all walks, cracking up a dynamic panel of guests, or yeah: even talking potato salad nuance with her husband Daniel (a rare public figure who—despite the powerful eye roll people who say things like this about people they don’t know inspires in me—I sometimes secretly think I’d be actual buddies with if we crossed paths), I can always count on outright laughs, clever musings, and discourse that feels fun and honest whether it’s light pop culture gab or bordering-on-heavy-but-never-exclusionary emotional discussion. I look forward to each new episode on Mondays and Thursdays, and there’s no podcast I recommend to more people no matter their individual taste.

    Please….
It ludicrous to even mention, but Alison absolutely does NOT support genocide…as any actual listener would know.

    Best podcast out now
I’ve been listening to podcasts since 2004 a d I can say without a doubt Alison Rosen is your new best friend is the best show out today. It’s funny, informative, and she has the best guests.

She actually IS my best friend though
I love Alison Rosen. Her Thursday episodes have gotten me through some really tough times including the death of my grandmother, a fairly serious car accident, and just general life anxiety. The “Alison People” are one of the kindest, most thoughtful, generous bunch of strangers I have ever had the honor of being a part of. Years ago my sister wrote a review that was read by the beloved #Al. It detailed how the Thursday gang helped us deal with a dying grandmother, and the stress that comes with Jewish funeral arrangements and traditions. Amazingly, the episode where that comment was read happened to come at a very dark time for the both of us, and #Al reading her iTunes comment (especially with the soothing flute in the background) was EXACTLY what we both needed. I really do feel like Alison, Daniel, David, Jeff, Wendy, Alie, Jordan, Renee, Tony, Jackie, and anyone else I’ve forgotten, are actually my good friends, though they’re good friends that I never talk to or see in real life (and they might not know about our deep friendships). (Also, Alison is a fantastic interviewer and her Monday episodes are always quite compelling)

Equating the phrase “Free Palestine” to “Heil Hitler” is an insane take.
Future guests, take note. Don’t appear on this show and give your tacit approval to someone who is pro genocide.

    Renee 🥴
Please no more Renee… I am a longtime listener, usually listen multiple times but gotta skip altogether if Renee is on. I’m sure she is a lovely friend but as a guest she adds nothing more than an annoying laugh track would, she comes off incredibly phony.

    Art Appreciation 101 and more!
I've been a listener for many years, and my gratitude for this podcast has never waivered. The Thursday shows are always terrific, and they never fail to engage and enliven me, which is a gift. The Monday shows are different but equally enjoyable because Alison is an excellent interviewer and someone who can make anyone interesting and often compelling. Before I even listened to the latest epidsode with Daniel and Alison, my inner dialogue was active: "Oh, these have been so great lately, and I really need this right now." Of course, the episode did not disappoint, and I was especially captured by Daniel's take on art appreciation. Further, Alison's thoughts were somewhat different when they discussed literary art. I loved how the entire conversation unfolded. I'm older than both Daniel and Alison, but I feel as if I met either one we'd immediately be pals. Thank you for all of it! Your forever fan, Jenny

My go to after many years
While over the years many of my podcasts have gone in and out of rotation ARYNBF has always been a must listen. That cast has changed over the years and now is a rotating Thursday cast that I have come to love. Most recently the Monday Daniel shows are my favorite. As a married 40 something I relate to their discussion. I can not recommend this show enough for some great discussion to get your mind off of everyday stress.

    Really sad loss
I’m a day-one podcast listener and former patron. This was always one of my favorite podcasts. After seeing an endless stream of cold, hateful social media posts from Alison surrounding the ongoing genocide of Palestine, I decided enough was enough and it was time to unsubscribe and move on. I’m really going to miss a lot of her guests, but will find other ways to support them. Thanks for the memories.

    ARIYNBF: See, Daniel?
Some of my favorite episodes are just Daniel and Alison talking on the Monday show, but Thursdays- especially with Jordan Morris- are wonderful too.

My favorite podcaster for the last 10 years!
It’s hard to describe this show because of how unique and personal it is. I mean the title says it all— Alison’s show really makes you feel like you’re a part of her life and gang, and is always open to bringing us along for the ride. To me, this show is the Seinfeld of podcasts, in that in a beautiful and hilarious way, is a show about nothing and everything all at once! I think some people might feel alienated if they start listening at a random episode because of the inside jokes and long histories between the guests, but to me, some of the best podcasts are like that— where us outsiders get to listen in on close friendships and their organic and candid conversations.. which I loooove. To me, if you’re just getting started, I highly recommend the episode where her husband Daniel Quantz makes his first appearance on the show back in 2014.. it’s a great place to get to know her inner circle and rhythm of the show. Not to discount previous episodes though, because those were equally hilarious and an enjoyable listen! Thank you Alison for being in our ears, for your candid thoughts, and for being so open and honest about this life. You are my favorite podcast 😊

    Not impressed
I searched a comedian I like and found they were on an episode of this podcast, so I tried to give it a listen. I don’t know Alison from anything, but I find her interview style to be very stilted and awkward. I don’t think it’s the dynamic, because I’ve listened to the comedian in other shows, and she jives well on all of them. I’ve not laughed even once at anything Alison has said. I gave an extra star because I was floored the podcast has existed for so long, so some people must like her.
  • I’ll miss it
    Sad to lose this podcast
I’ve been faithful weekly listener since the beginning of the podcast version of the show. I’ve always known my politics were more progressive than Alison/Daniel’s but I thought of them as kind, well-intentioned people. However, the heartlessness and lack of nuance they are bringing to their discussion of the conflict between Israel and Palestine and their lack of empathy for the suffering of ordinary Palestinians has caused me to reconsider my image of them. Unfortunately, the appeal of the show for me is really built on my ability to relate to host(s) as fellow humans, fallible but also trying to be better. I imagine they are very scared. I can understand that. Sometimes, the measure of a person is how they react when they are afraid. I’m so sad to lose this show.

    Please more Greg
That’s my original review & I loved the throwback New Year’s episode!! I love the Thursday show. I'm a listener from way back with the old Thursday gang. I have to say I like your new crew better. Greg, I like your quick whit and your rash judgement. Jenna and Al are adorable. Jeff is a great producer. Dustin is hysterical. Alison and Daniel are awesome - love the banter between you!

    Why zero diversity??
I love Alison and have been listening since 2013. But, I have noticed that she seems to only allow white people to participate on her Thursday episodes (& most episodes overall if we’re being honest). This has bugged me for years and almost seems intentional at this point. As if there are no funny or witty industry people who are non white living in the LA area?? It’s insulting makes me question her true character.

I support Alison's strident view on Israel, even if it will lose her guests snd younger followers. Respect her snd Daniel for taking a stand against terrror.

Disappointing to see what Alison and Daniel have been posting regarding I/P. Finally unsubscribed. Also, I hope you are paying your guests especially with your new “product corner” segment since you are making money off the clicks. Honestly annoying

    Talentless Troll
“Are her followers anti-trans, anti-LGBTQ?” What an ignorant human Alison is. Yes, all listeners of a top 1% Podcast in the world are anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ. Every single one. What an uneducated, desperate manipulator. Not to mention terrible interviewing skills. She should be devoting a full time schedule to researching how to interview a guest.

    Disappointing
I’ve been an avid listener for the last 8 years but am incredibly disheartened by the recent posts by both Alison and Daniel regarding Palestine. I would never have thought either would be pro-genocide. I’ve unsubscribed, though I will really miss this podcast.

    Oh Alison 🙄
Remember when star Jerry Seinfeld was the worst part of ‘Seinfeld?’ This Jew is totally the worst part of this show. Her long, pointless, nonsensical stories are insufferable. But guests, Robin, Jordan, Daniel, Dave and Wendy are the best!

I’ve been listening since Alison was on Natch Beaut and have listened ever since. I find the conversations pleasant and asking the same questions that I would ask. Also Alison is always out here with these $100 words, really helping me with my adult vocabulary. Thanks for all the many hours and here’s to many more 🥂
