The Hamas controlled Gaza Health Administration has never separated the number of Hamas fighters from total casualties. You should preface “Hamas controlled” to any government authority in Gaza. The terrorist controlled Gaza Health Authority is not at the same level as the American Red Cross.

I listen to many podcasts but this is the only one I’ve been moved to review. It’s so refreshing to get the news in a way that is simply reporting the facts without all the hot takes or salacious punditry. Even when they share opinions from other news sources, it’s always balanced by alternative view points and everything is cited. If you can, please consider donating to CSPAN, so that they can continue their important work.

I really do like this podcast; however, some of the people that they like to use to do interviews such as Lindsay McPherson have the worst vocal fry, mumbling mouth, answering questions with a questions at the end of everything that they say it is so bad you can’t understand McPherson (You’re a journalist you should’ve taken speech or some kind of vocals class in college). If you’re listening on 2X times play good luck trying to understand McPherson because dictation and enunciation are not a strong suit. Otherwise the coverage is good it’s it’s exactly what you would expect from CSpan just the straight news.

I appreciate getting to hear CSPAN’s audio recordings of interviews and speeches, but the host (I think it’s still Steve Skully, a former intern of Joe Biden and obvious liberal) is too biased. It’s totally fine for people to be liberal, conservative, indifferent, etc, and it’s fine for those people to have podcasts. Start a podcast and be as liberal or conservative as you want, just be honest about what you’re doing and where you’re coming from. Don’t try to act like you’re “above the fray” and simply stating facts and reporting the news, when really you’re trying to persuade people to adopt your view.

Tremendous job giving both sides equal time and opportunity to make arguments. Great podcast if you just want to hear politicians talk and hear about policy. I genuinely appreciate the general lack of analysis by the hosts and the mostly dry reporting. It’s perfect for letting the listener form their own opinions. The only thing I wish they would change is the number of times that the host trips over something they are reading on the teleprompter. Several times every episode is crazy for a professional news organization.

The 1 star is not a mistake. I LOVE this podcast. BUT! The extreme volume level changes are unacceptable from a professional broadcasting operation. Fix it! It is very difficult to listen to! There will be quiet audio so I’ll turn the volume up. Then the next clip is way louder with no warning and my ears are ringing. How are you all letting this happen?! Cmon man! C-SPAN has been at it for way too long to make this rookie move. It’s such a simple fix. Look into loudness normalization. Auphonic is a great tool. I can’t do this anymore. 💔 I will happily change my rating to 5 stars as soon as my ears stop bleeding.

I like cspan because it seems to be less affected by the left media bias. Was sad to see them lending credibility to an unconfirmed Atlantic article. Instead of using those expensive journalist skills they bought from a prestigious university. A university no doubt dedicated to the INTEGRITY of the craft... Instead, CSpan wastes your time and goes with “he said she said.” Put some effort in.

Why would Trump use this hashtag to begin with? What else could this mean??? I don’t understand the constant manipulating and attempts to right what he says/does. Having said that if he fires Fauchi he is more reckless than I could have imagined. Man I don’t envy the jobs of his staff. What a freak show.

This is one of the best, if not the best podcast I’ve listened to. Great content and the host is excellent. Love that opening and closing music,too.

I listened for a month but finally unsubscribed because of the subtle leftist bias of the host. The tone of the coverage of Trump is monotonically negative.

C-SPAN, and in particular Washington Today, brings some of the most unbiased and objective coverage of what’s happening in our federal government and national politics. I’m so grateful that there is still some small sliver of journalistic objectivity that survives in these extremely divisive times.

I only wish this was the main source of news for Americans. In these times, and for the last 15 years, when CNN, FOX, and all the other cable networks are spewing out hour after after hour of biased punditry and sensationalism, CSPAN is a bastion of neutrality. This admirable station is an example to all and more importantly, it is unfortunately the only news source in the United States that is truly non-bias.

This is one political media outlet I would recommend for everyone! It truly gives an accurate account of the days in politics and is not biased to either political party! The only issue I have is that not all episode are on this podcast.

Thank you for your hard work! This program presents facts. It presents all viewpoints. It allows folks to express opinions. We need to protect our democracy as a nation, these are dark times, bordering on dictatorship and destruction of rule of law. As a nation? We like each other and can get along. This program can help us remember that.

Around 30 minutes in, they incorrectly state that Stormy Daniels started stripping at the age of 12. According to Wikipedia, she started at 17.

Great to have a nonpartisan news source like this for politics and policy issues.

I love Washington Today, but I've been unable to get it to either load or play for a week- what's going on? Did the Russians hack the podcasts too?

Love the brief, insightful interviews! The most recent interview with Josh Earnest was super interesting and masterfully produced.

I love this show. I listen to it every day on my commute home. I love that there's no commentary, just the unfiltered fact. The new Campaign Podcast is awesome too!

Every once in awhile the updates stop. I have emailed the main site and received no reponse. I think someone must be asleep at the wheel.

This is my favorite political podcast but it's a bit irritating that it's not being updated on a regular schedule. I promise, you'll get more out of us if you stick with a schedule.

I listen to Washington Today today, tomorrow, yesterday, and plenty of other days but I can't remember them. This program tells me what's new in politics, like the other guy said all unbiased and stuff. It's good and I like it better than those knuckle heads on Fox

Washington Today is an excellent way to catch up on political news. About 2 hours of new material, 5 days a week gives you a non-partisan view on congress and the whitehouse. The podcast itself however suffers from inconsistent refreshing and tends to skip days now and again.
