I’m not even an FSU fan, but I listen to this podcast all the time. What really draws me in are the “Coach Speak” roasts, which are unique and hilarious. The hosts are hilarious but not at all afraid to be hard-hitting (calling out joyless Dave Doeren and Dino Babers for their gloomy pressers was a thing of beauty, entirely accurate, and long overdue). This is one of three in my regular rotation. Btw shout out to the Marching Chiefs! I know for a fact the Florida fans hated every minute of it. I heard about it from them the whole game!

Ira’s 1:1 with Manny Navarro was really good. Very good insight into not just the upcoming Miami game but the big picture of each program. It was nice to hear a level headed perspective of the Miami program. I didn’t know such a thing existed among that fan base. Keep up the good work on the content!! Nicely done Ira.

Press conference with Coach Norvell- cannot hear the questions so unknown which player he is speaking of. Then his microphone volume is so low you can hardly hear him. Quit listening about halfway through.

Interesting discussion. Do think this is not Big 10 or SEC vs ACC but rather Disney vs Fox. Given that Disney owns bot the SEC and ACC media rights, would enjoy further discussion of FSU to Big 10 and how interested is Fox in getting its college football brand in the Florida market. Seems that FSU to SEC would be Disney’s counter to protect its existing media property. Point being unless FSU to Big 10 is truly possible, don’t see Disney having incentive to do anything.

Jeff, Ira, and Corey bring the best blend of entertaining conversation, program knowledge and having the pulse of the fanbase of any crew on the FSU beat.

Thanks guys for the entertainment & information! Wish you would argue that the BCS got it right more often than not. With playoff, kids risk more for same 2 teams to play that would have played in the BCS format!!

Excellent content from the Warchant team

Just couldn’t take the hand wringing anymore. Aslan at about the 20 minute mark was just more than I could take. I mean I just couldn’t take the hysterical nonsense any longer. Maybe tomorrow’s show will be more reasonable. We knew this wasn’t a good football team and now we’re all up in arms because we lost to a really good NC State team after a week with the flu? The analytics support the 4th down calls. How is it that the more risky on side kick was ok, but the 4th down call wasn’t? Dillingham made adjustments at halftime rather than in the first half to keep NC State from being able to adjust during halftime. This was explained on the broadcast and by Jeff; and it bought us more time. You both acknowledge that the players aren’t any good. We all know this. It’s what happens when your program has 4 transition classes, coupled with a coach who stopped recruiting his last year (and didn’t sign any worthwhile QBs and OL since Jameis) and another coach who didn’t even bother to have someone to meet/greet high profile recruits. You knew this was a 6 win team (at best); and that was if everything went well, which it has not with key injuries prevailing once again. We’re stuck having to play OL to early and it hurts their development and increases chance of injury. It’s a vicious cycle that started under Jimbo and perpetuated under Taggart. Norvell is finally gaining traction with the upcoming class. You know we are still in play for a recruiting class that will help start to turn the corner but it’s not happening this year and probably not next. We have all seen improvements. This staff has coached better and they have improved the program. I’m not sure how much better you expected it to be until now (with the obvious exception of Jax St, but even Nick Saban lost to ULM his first season. These things happen when you’re trying to rebuild a program). It’s silly to get all up in arms about the minutia when you know that this is one of the worst rosters in the conference. Especially when you don’t have Travis (and given his availability up until now, you can expect for him to not always be available). It’s just silly that a few weeks ago you were thinking maybe we can win out, but after losing to 2 teams that are much better and who were favored to win, you’re suddenly all hysterical and questioning every decision that’s been made since he got here.

Been a loyal headliner since the start and love that the show is still free with the jump to warchant, but don’t like having all the other shows in the same podcast feed now. Way too many episodes that require constant keeping up with.

Don’t let them talk you into that, my friend. Born and raised in Miami, Fla. I have hated the Dolphins since their inception. Colors, mascot, owners and coaches, what a combination of distasteful trash. Keep up the hate and they will remain a mediocre or worse train wreck for the foreseeable future. Love the show even more now that there’s another Dolphin hater on board.

This show is like sharing some beers with the fellas and talking Noles sports. I never miss a week.

Very good content, lighthearted and humorous. Certainly need this kind of sports talk show. Only drawback, Jeff cannot seem to grasp the concept that some people find the name “Jesus Christ“ Holy and honorable. I really wish he would drop these two words from his vocabulary.

Hey Guys Thunder Foot has been taken. Ron Stark is the original Thunder Foot. Bill Capece was Super Toe. Ron Stark kept the 1985 Nebraska team bottled up all game and it allowed FSU steal a game in Lincoln 17 - 15.

However, I lowered my normal 5 stars to 4 stars. Main reason I listen is for FSU football talk and not Corey’s insight about who is overpaid at the university and giving coaching salaries to the players. Whereas I might agree that they are overpaid, I don’t see him giving up his salary... considering he is a sports writer giving political commentary. But maybe I’m just having a bad day.

Hilarious

Ever since 2012 I used to look forward to this show every week, but I’m just over the 3 of these guys. Corey is still the man, but Jeff and Ira are just typical media members who want to get political and cancel college football.

I love you guys! Hang in there! This dang COVID19 pandemic will get under control as Corey said. People see the the economy and lifestyle can get back to some sense of normalcy but they have to simply follow the rules of wearing masks, social distancing and hand sanitizing. I expect the universities will develop a good plan for sports this fall.

Funny how three people still able to earn a paycheck can gripe about people out of work or business owners wanting to work. I wish y’all weren’t getting paid for the last eight weeks.

This podcast is mandatory listening for me. Even when there aren’t really any sports going on. Been listening for years and Jeff, Corey, and Ira just sound like some guys I’d like to sit down and have some beers with (even a Mic Ultra with Corey if I had too).
