    Meh
These topics could have been so interesting but their personalities are dry. It’s honestly kind of stressful to listen to

    Ah stressful! so much bickering
All of the content is lost between the constant correcting and interrupting of the other. I feel bad for them and that’s why this gets 2 stars instead of one. 😬 Sorry!

    Could be better
Good idea for a podcast and good topics but not very well researched and kind of rambly

    Rambling and not knowledgeable
...at least for the sourdough episode

Great for beginners & experts alike.
Have been taking food preservation classes for about a year at our local UC Cooperative extension. Learned a lot. When they finally got around to fermentation though, it was like I finally found something I was really interested in. The FermUp podcast has been a big part of my learning about this craft. I've pickled eggs, made fermented & refrigerator pickles, sourkraut, fermented chilis, Kombucha, etc. Got three more people at work interested. Thanks for keeping this podcast going. Every episode has been great. Keep up the good work.

    Interesting topic, needs tightening
I agree with another reviewer that the male host seems very condescending (is he flirting?) to the female host. That said, she seems to derail the conversation and both of them could tighten up their information a bit. The topic is interesting and they seem knowledgable but it's hard to listen to.

Interesting information but one of the hosts is abrasive (based on early episodes)
I just started listening to this podcast from near the beginning (episode 3), and I found the information provided very helpful and interesting, but I found the dynamic between the hosts quite abrasive. Basically, it seems like the guy is being a bit of a jerk (dismissive, condescending) to the woman, who is asking what seem like very reasonable questions (it’s supposed to be an educational podcast, after all, no?). Also, not sure why he doesn’t seem to be able to have an actual conversation with her but instead just lectures at her and seems irritated by her contributions. Hopefully it gets better in future episodes… Looks like they have guests on their show later on, so I think it will probably get better. I’ll give it a try for a few more episodes, but if it keeps the offensive tone I’ll probably delete.

    Fun and Educational
If you're interested in learning about fermentations, this podcast covers the bases. All different fermentations are talked about and the hosts like to experiment and explore the possibilities with fermenting. Great poducation quality and the hosts keep it entertaining and funny.
