I just discovered this podcast and listened to two of the most recent episodes. I loved them so much I went back to the very beginning and am binge listening. Love the light, fun content and laughing between the hosts.

I honestly love/loved this podcast. It was a cozy comfort listen. My favorite ones have been the bookshelves and the fall extravaganza. Even though we have vast beliefs / morals I always felt excited to hear from my friends “next door”. I listened to this as I was postpartum with all three of my kiddos and loved the simple chatting of two friends. When I was looking forward to escaped from the loud voices it felt nice to come to this podcast. However today that changed. As I came expecting something light I found the headline with an automatically triggering word - no matter where you stand on the topic - “abortion.” I get that these topics need to be talked about but truly I’m not sure if this is the audience that you need to spill out your hate for those who believe differently than you. I really am sadden by a light and friendly podcast would come to this.

I love this podcast so much, I recently had a couple of very close mom friends move away, and am feeling very lonely. This podcast is so fun and uplifting. It’s 2025 and I’m going all the way back to 2015 and listening to early episodes and they are just as great, I’m so excited now because I have so many and won’t run out soon 🫶🏻

I’ve never found a podcast I enjoyed this much or relate to so often. Kelsey and Erica are down to earth, funny, inspiring, and offer great tips! I often find myself pausing the podcast to google a recipe or add something to my Amazon wishlist. But they are more than their great recommendations. I have laughed and cried through different topics they have covered with such thoughtful conversations. Even if the topic seems trivial, their (often hilarious) perspective is a great reminder that there is joy and meaning to be found in the little things. It is always such an uplifting and inspiring space I can count on to make me smile! Thank you for the intention and love you’ve poured into this podcast!

Relatively recent follower, although I am quickly making my way through the backlog of episodes. As a busy, working mom and wife in my early 40’s with elementary-aged kids I am so grateful to have found a podcast that really speaks to me! Thank you for sharing your lives and giving me something fun to look forward to on my daily commute!

Long time listener and realized I haven’t reviewed yet! This podcast feels like I’m hanging out with my girlfriends and I feel so much better by the end of the episodes. There’s wonderful advice about a range of subjects but mostly just relatable and real conversations about womanhood and motherhood. <3

Listening to Kelsey and Erica felt like hanging out with friends over a cup of coffee. Their insights are practical and relatable, and I could easily picture myself right there with them talking about routines and the different stages of their lives. Can't wait for the next episode!

I am so happy whenever I see a new girl next door podcast. Kelsey and Erika are both so warm and comforting and the types of moms and spouses and humans I want to be. There’s nothing quite like listening to a new episode while doing my weekly Trader Joe’s shopping ❤️ Update 7/1/24: I’m so glad they have explored how they can go further with this podcast. The model they’ve chosen for listener-supported content is just right and straightforward - no confusing tiers, just $5. They seem very intentional about everything they do, and appreciate that they don’t take on too much. I feel good about the people I’m supporting! I’m loving the additional content and I’m excited to see what they will do next.

I’m so happy I stumbled upon this podcast. My only local mom friend recently moved away and this show has helped fill the void of a now long distance friendship. It’s so fun to listen to the ins and outs of how other mom’s run their households and all the little quirks that come with it. Also listen to you talk about your kids (mine are 6, 3, and 10m) is so helpful. It really helps me see the things I have to look forward too as my kids grow up.

These episodes are funny, reassuring, and informative. Erica and Kelsey generously share aspects of their lives, enabling me to reflect on mine with fresh ideas and grace.

The Girl Next Door podcast is one of my absolute favorite podcasts! I’ve been a long time listener and look forward to every episode. Erica and Kelsey are funny, thoughtful, and always offer a fresh perspective on life!

I've been listening to a bunch of motherhood related podcasts over the years and they all have a niche but nothing truly felt like an exact match until this one. Erica and Kelsey really make you feel like you're sitting at the kitchen table with them chatting as friends. They bring a sense of positivity and vibrancy to life but mixed with sarcasm and humor. They are incredibly intelligent- researched and thoughtful in their approach but still bring humility, respect and their whole selves, self admitted flaws and all to the conversation. They can make you laugh out loud, nod your head continuously or pause and reflect with a tear in your eye- the best kind of podcast!

I’ve been listening since the beginning and this is my favorite podcast of all time. So honest, relatable, and to the point. Thank you!

I’m fairly new to this podcast so now I’m listening to all of the older ones (and banking all of the fall/holiday ones for Fall)! Love how relatable and real they are! I’ve tried so many other podcasts but this one just feels so natural, like I’m chatting with friends.

I LOVE this podcast so much with my whole heart. I’ve never not shouted “YES, THANK YOU” during an episode and I just love how TGND ladies really being you into their honest conversations. Their COVID time capsule and feminism episodes are so well done and truly are worth the listens. I tell everyone about this podcast I love it so much.

I learned about this podcast a month ago and have been plowing through the back catalog. I’m loving how Erica and Kelsey bring their whole selves to the show. It’s a great listen that touches upon so many parts of my life

My one complaint is that they only put out an episode every other week, I want more. Love listening to these ladies; they are funny, relatable, kind, and down to earth.

I love this podcast and I’m so thankful for all the work put into it!! One suggestion; Erica often talks over Kelsey, not in a rude way, but in way that is distracting over audio. I also talk and add to friends stories so I totally get it, but just wanted to share that feedback!

I have listened to this podcast for about four years and really love it! Kelsey and Erica have enough similarities and differences to keep the conversation moving, engaging and humorous. I have found the more recent content less and less relatable as I am a working mom and I really miss Kelsey’s unique perspective as a working mom too. Although I find some of their issues to be trivial, I still find myself listening again and again to these two ladies.

Kelsey and Erica are so much fun to listen to. I am a newer listener and have loved catching up on the archives and following along as they share their stories and growth as women, friends, wives, and moms with transparency and humor. They are both so relatable and lovely. Thanks, ladies!

This show used to be so accepting to all people and views. I feel vilified as a conservative republican. I used to love these ladies but now they just seem angry and intolerant to anyone that is not a liberal.

I really like this podcast but have to say, please stop saying the “pandemic is over, post-pandemic, etc”. Covid is still very much here, especially for those of us with infants under 6 months, immunocompromised or frankly those who care about their long term heath.

I have listened to this show for years now -it is truly a delight. Erica and Kelsey feel like IRL friends. I relate to each of them on different topics and I love that their POVs are separate sometimes, alike sometimes and sometimes a bit of both. Their conversations and pointers are on target for my life, thank you!

I don’t write a lot of reviews but I’m sitting here enjoying the Dill Pickle Salad Kit (from the “Obsessed” segment) and I have to give credit where credit is due. These “girls” are an inspiration in their friendship, their dedication to their families, and their hard and consistent work on this podcast. Thank you Girls! Keep it up! (And keep the “Obsessions” coming - I’ve been drinking the Iced Lemon Loaf tea all summer. 😉)

Every episode is excellent. Erica and Kelsey feel like old friends at this point. I love their points of view, how they offer different perspectives on almost everything, but still share core values. A must listen on the day it drops.

I cried during their episode on white privilege. As a Black woman, I’ve never heard of white women having this conversation without relying on a Black woman to direct the conversation. This filled me with so much hope! I love the conversational tone, and they make you feel a part of the conversation. Keep up the great work!

I found Erica and Kelsey through some of my other “mom podcasts” I love so many things about them. I really enjoy the updates about what’s going on in their area and what they are obsessed with, it is always so fun. I understand the need to financially support podcasts with ads but I truly appreciate the lack of promotions in the podcast. I also really appreciate the two different views and personalities these two bring to momming and life in general. A true pleasure, always looking forward to the next episode!
